At a glance:
This team has me in the low 1400s rating on Shoddy, and I'm pretty pleased with it so far, but it's not without its problems. I remember seeing a team like this a while ago on this board and decided to make one in the same mold, but I forgot which team it was. >_>; So I'm hoping to make some changes to fix it and gain some insight on things I may not realize that I have problems with yet. I plan on making a WiFi team out of this sometime so legendaries may be hard to get for me. I'm already wondering how I'll get hidden powers. <_<
Game Plan:
Gallade statuses the opposing team to start off. Metagross and Heatran then come in to inflict as much damage as possible. Bronzong/Vaporeon come in as needed for support in the form of subs and Reflect. Once adequate damage has been done, I send Salamence out for the sweep. Remember, KISS. (Keep it simple, stupid.)
(I'll make changes in red.)
Oh, I've played a few of you probably over Shoddy so feel free to draw from that experience.

Gallade (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 64 HP/252 Atk/192 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Hypnosis
- Close Combat
- Thunder Wave
- Night Slash
My lead status. I had Mismagius here for a while, but Gallade has outperformed it for the most part and doesn't die automatically if someone decided on a Weaville/Tyranitar lead. It has enough speed to outrun things like bulky Gyara and Jolly Tyranitars and Lum Berry for other sleep leads like Gengar or Crobat. It's goal is to make things easier for the rest of my team through disabling one opponent through sleep and paralysis help. CC is for STAB and Night Slash is basically for coverage when ghosts decided not to switch out because they predict the double status. Ninjask proves to be annoying however. I can only Night Slash until it decides to Baton Pass.
Goal : Status the other team. Kill when possible.

Metagross @ Choice Band
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 244 HP/252 Atk/12 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Bullet Punch
- Meteor Mash
- Explosion
Metagross is my primary work horse through the early and mid game. I try to inflict as much damage as I can through CB'd MM and BP. Thunder punch is an option, but I didn't really see a good reason for it. If someone sends out a Skarmory, I can always send out Heatran/Salamence to burn it or Gallade to sleep it. Still, nothing worse than getting Magnezone'D, but I'm happy letting him wail away for the most part. Once he's done with his destruction, he goes out with a bang.
Goal : Hurt the other team physically early-mid game.
---

Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 40 HP/216 Spd/252 SAtk
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Explosion
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Good ol' Scarftran. You know exactly what to expect from him, but he's still effective. Good for switching into predicted fire attacks on Metagross or Bronzong. He shares the same job as Metagross, but from a special standpoint. Coming in is made easy as opponents usually send out steel walls or fire attacks on sight of Metagross. Notice he's my only member with an ice attack. I don't seem to have a giant dragon problem as of yet though. He also explodes upon completion.
Goal : Hurt the other team specially early-mid game.
---

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/144 Atk/94 Def/20 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball
- Reflect
My sturdy bell. A third steel type, but he doesn't fear ground types like the other two. Having hypnosis on Gallade freed up a spot on his moveset. Whoo. He does his best to absorb hits for me. EQ because I needed a SD lucario/Vire counter. Gyro Ball so I'm not walled by ghosts likes Gengar or Mismagius. And Reflect for team support which is useful for Vaporeon when he's subbing. I was thinking of adding explosion as well, but I didn't need a third exploder. Haha.
Goal : Take hits when possible and set up SR and Reflect for the team.
---

Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 126 HP/252 Def/52 SAtk/80 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Surf
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- Hidden Power [Electric]
Sub-passing Vaporeon. When it comes in on ice/water attacks, it promptly goes out in a neatly prepared sub for one of my hard hitters. I chose HP Electric for Gyara who happens to be resistant to Metagross and Heatran. Also, he's the only one who hates Toxic Spikes. I have 4 members immune to it, but man does Vaporeon hate them. Late game, its job is to sub to my late game sweeper to hopefully finish the game up for me.
Goal : Take Water/Ice type hits and send out subs for everyone else.
---

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 120 HP/190 Atk/136 Spd/64 SAtk
Rash nature (+SAtk, -SDef)
- Dragon Dance
- Fire Blast
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
---
This guy sits on my team until conditions are just right for him to come in. Hopefully, I can get him in on a sub for a free DD. Life Orb for the extra umph and because its late game anyway so it shouldn't be as much of a concern. My EV's are weird though. I could use some help with those. I thought about bulky, then decided on this mixed set, but the EV's got lost somewhere in between. Feel free to recommend me something. Sometimes, I have to send him in early in case of a fighting type, but so that may be the reasoning, but he's hardly defensive.
Goal : Finish the game up.

Problems List

(Feel free to add on for me)

He's also resistant to Heatran/Metagross and Bronzong/Vaporeon don't do much to him. The best I can do is sleep him or send out Salamence out early game (ugh).

Boy do I hate cursers. These things seriously exploit my lack of a phazer and have swept my team on occasion. My hitters can't do much after a few curses.

Yeah. I can usually beat him if he's in the lead position since he Spores my Lum Berry'D Gallade, but if he manages to sneak in a Spore later on and Belly Drum. Argh. >_>

My steels can't really come in on it directly unless it's a Megahorn. Salamence is my only real option which forces him out early. CB Hera CC's hurt.
