Rate my all new and fully OU team:D!

I have posted my old team before and I have to say I was rather unexperianced back then. But I have got a better strategy now and I have made ALOT of changes and I have lots of new pokemon. I think that this team is the best that I have ever had! This time I will give ther weaknesses and what team member covers them. But first, lets start with team building. Enjoy:D!

Team Building
jolteon.png

My favorite pokemon so he will never leave my team. This is because he is so cool and elctric types are my favorite types. So once he was sorted who could be next?

jolteon.png
swampert.png

Well who else but the one a only Swampert? He's strong, he's cool, what can be wrong with him? He's a great Bulky Water. And mudkip is so cool aswell!

I have always wanted a fire type but due to stealth rock nobody ever uses them anymore. But then this monkey came along with the perfect typing and the right stat'sin the right places. So thank god for Infernape!

The best dragon in history! Once I saw him I instantly thought: "Yeah he is perfect for my team!". Like Swampert, he's cool, he's strong so he was perfect for the team!

I needed a steel type to cover Salamence but all of the steel types looked stupid to be honest with you. Then, when I lost all faith in hope, Scizor came along. He was cool, strong and helped Salamence alot.

snorlax.png

I really need a pokemon that was a great Special Wall but I HATE Blissey so she was out of the picture. So who else was there but the one and only Snorlax? He has great base attack and great base special defence not to metion his HUGE base HP.

So then I had to put them in some sort of order and I came up with this:

Team In Detail
260.png

Swampert(M)@ Leftovers
EV's-252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Ability-Torrent
Nature-Relaxed(+Def -Spe)
Surf
Earthquake
Ice Beam
Stealth Rock

Why These Moves?
Surf is for STAB. Earthquake is for STAB also. Ice beam is to K/O Salamence and his only weakness grass. Stealth rock is an essential for leads.

Comments
This guy has to be the best lead in the game since he can handle hround and grass types such as Roserade and Hippowdon. The bad thing is that he is easily taunted (the move) by Gliscor. But that is round about the bad thing about him and this guy will rarely let me down.

Weaknesses Covered
Grass:Jolteon, Salamence, Infernape, Scizor.

135.png

Jolteon(M)@ Choice Specs
Ev's-4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Ability-Volt Absorb
Nature-Timid(+Spe -Atk)
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Hidden Power[Grass]
Signal Beam

Why These Moves?
Thunderbolt is for STAB. Shadow ball is for fun really lol. HP[Grass] is for ground types. Signal beam is to handle grass types.

Comments
This guy is the King Of The Team. Without him, the team would be nothing. He is the early game sweeper. He has great special attack and great speed so he is a brilliant special sweeper. He will always remain his place as the King Of The Team.

Weaknesses Covered
Ground:Salamence, Swampert.

392.png

Infernape(M)@ Life Orb
EV's-64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
Ability-Blaze
Nature-Naive(+Spe -SpD)
Flamethrower
Close Combat
Grass Knot
Nasty Plot

Why These Moves?
Flamethrower is for STAB. Close combat is for STAB also. Grass knot is for water types and ground types. Nasty plot is to power up his special moves when the time is right.

Comments
This guy is one of my best sweepers. With nasty plot he can get a good few sweeps in. It may take some time getting rid of his weaknesses, but once they are away he can get nasty plot ready and get his sweeps over and done with.

Weaknesses Covered
Flying:Jolteon, Swampert, Salamence.
Ground:Salamence, Swampert.
Water:Jolteon.
Phycic:Scizor, Jolteon, Snorlax.

212.png

Scizor(M)@ Choice Band
EV's-248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Ability-Technician
Nature-Adamant(+Atk -SpA)
U-turn
Bullet Punch
Superpower
Pursuit

Why These Moves?
U-turn is for STAB and to get out when he has a disadvantage.Bullet punch is for STAB also and it always hit's first. Superpower is to handle other steel type's. Pursuit is to hit pokemon that I have a feeling will switch out.

Comments
This super-sized bug can really get a punch in there. He can handle dragon types easily and has only one weakness which makes him stay in longer. He is a great member to my team.

Weaknesses Covered
Fire:Infernape, Swampert, Salamence, Snorlax.

373.png

Salamence(M)@ Life Orb
EV's-232 Atk / 24 SpA / 252 Spe
Ability-Intimidate
Nature-Naughty(+Atk -SpD)
Dragon Dance
Outrage
Earthquake
Fire Blast

Why These Moves?
Dragon dance is to boost his attack and speed when the time is right. Outrage is for when I'm in real trouble and have to use it. Earthquake handles rock types. Fire blast is for ice types.

Comments
This guy can really stan his ground pretty well when it comes to sweeping once his weaknesses are away. He is my best sweeper and I don't know what I would do without him. He is great and I would recommend him to anybody!

Weaknesses Covered
Rock:Swampert, Infernape, Scizor.
Ice:Infernape, Scizor, Snorlax.
Dragon:Scizor, Swampert.

143.png

Snorlax(M)@ Leftovers
EV's-168 HP / 120 Def / 220 SpD
Ability-Thick Fat
Nature-Careful(+SpD -SpA)
Curse
Body Slam
Crunch
Rest

Why These Moves?
Curse is useful for this set so I won't explain it. Body slam is for STAB and it may parilys my foe. Crunch is for ghost types. Rest is for when he is losing health (which barely ever happen's lol).

Comments
This fat blob is great. He is the late game sweeper. He can protect the team from getting hurt and hit really hard aswell. He can also, in my opinion, be classed as an annoyer due to rest. So to sum this guy up, he is a great special wall and I really need him.

Weaknesses Covered
Fighting:Salamence.

Thanks very much:D!

Hey there, your team looks like it might have trouble with the Salamence/Magnezone combination. Magnezone can switch in on a Bullet Punch or Pursuit from Scizor and pomptly KO it with HP Fire. Then, you have absolutely no hope of stopping Mence if it sets up a Dragon Dance. Swampert can admittedly take a +1 Outrage, but if it has suffered any previous damage it will be KO'd. There are a few ways you can deal with this. To limit the amount of free turns you give Salamence, you should switch Jolteon to a Life Orb variant, something along the lines of Thunderbolt/Shadow Ball/HP Grass/Charge Beam would work great. Also, since Salamence and Latias are so common, HP Ice would help a lot on Infernape. I dont think that Nasty Plot is necessary, as it can be hard to find a turn to set up with Nape's frail defenses.

Hope I helped :)

Scizor might pose some problems without swords dance in the mix because scizor can go just fine without pursuit since most other pokemon with predict that scizor has it and wont switch, plus as an added bonus you can do some serious sweeping with the swords dance-technician-bullet punch combo. Trust me I know this from experience. BTW snorlax would be better off with return because of its base 120 power at full happiness and earthquake would help more than rest since leftovers is attached and no chesto berry is in the mix. Earthquake helps pick off the TTars that have superpower and Metegrosses that have hammer arm since snorlax has a pretty mediocre defense behind its monsterous HP. But very good job with Jolteon though I really like its moveset.

I like the "bumb"

anyway, Jolteon can be put to much better use if you switch him to a Life Orb Variant. and if you want, you can use a Sub + Baton Pass + Thunderbolt + HP Ice/Grass one. What this does for your team is that you can sub on a pokemon guaranteed to switch, and if they send in a ground type, or something that EQ's anyway, BP to Mence. You give it a free turn or two to set up to start a sweep.

And just a piece of advice for other RMTs, Don't say EQ is "just for fun" or something along those lines. It just makes it look silly to be quite honest. Say what coverage it provides or something, put some thought into it.

Hey. This is a pretty solid team, but it looks like you have some big issues with Jolly Gyarados. After a DD, your "check" in Jolteon is outsped and OHKOed, leaving you very vurnerable. Gyarados can easily set up on Scizor and Swampert, making it a potent threat. Two other threats to your team are Lucario and Scizor. The only thing stopping Lucario is Salamence, and that's a very shaky answer. Scizor can constantly come in and U-turn, causing lots of damage over time. A great answer to all these problems is a Choice Scarf Jirachi, enabling you to revenge all these threats, as well as still providing a solid check to Salamence. Jirachi also provides an arguably better answer to Babiri Berry DDTar, since the chance to flinch enables you to 2HKO it without getting hurt if it flinches.

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Jolly l 4 HP/ 252 Att/ 252 Spd
Iron Head/ Fire Punch/ Thunderpunch/ Ice Punch

This is pretty much a failsafe against anything your team might have troubles with. Also, you're probably going to want to run a Naive nature on Salamence, so you boost speed to at least tie with other base 100 scarfers like Jirachi trying to revenge kill you. Hope I helped, and good luck.

i'm pretty sure jolteon still outspeeds gyarados even after 1 DD

i think gyarados hits 381 while jolteon is running 394, unless the gyarados is running max speed which they usually don't, i think he's okay on that aspect, but jolteon can only revenge KO it, not switch in

do not switch infernape in on rock moves, he's way too fragile to switch in on moves he doesn't take for NFE damage
