Without further ado, here's my team:
Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
My lead, my mega, my special lady. With viable damage output it can do good damage,
and take a lucky hit and survive. Even if it is my lead, its secondary role is to bring
special bulk alongside Gliscor's physical stalling capabilities.
Gengar could be a problem for Gardevoir, hence the Shadow Ball.
Aegislash @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA
Quiet nature (+SpA, -Spd)
- Shadow Sneak
- Sacred Sword/Iron Head
- King's Shield
- Swords Dance
Aegislash is by far the most interesting pokemon I have seen yet.
I consider him the go-to-pokemon when ever possible. After taking some puny punch
after a switch-in, he can answer with a force to be reckoned with, or scout with
King's Shield in case a failure to do so occurs.
Hydreigon @ Expert Belt
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spd
Mild nature (+SpA, -Def)
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Superpower
- Earthquake
Aegislashe's best friend. Aegi in a tough spot? Hydreigon for the rescue.
Hydreigon in a tough spot? Aegi for the rescue. This pokemon works as my mixed attacker,
while forcing switches when switched from Aegislash at the right moment.
Rotom-W @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest
Rotom-W and Amoonguss make up my second core. Volt Switch escapes incoming
grass-types into Amoonguss who happily takes care of them, either directly or by inflicting
status. Rotom-W also keeps me safe from Talonflame, who seems to be a considerable
threat, thanks to Gale Wings D: Chesto berry and rest helps keep my Rotom alive for a bit
longer.
Amoonguss @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Spore
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Stun Spore
Amoonguss is my supporter, inflicting status, and thus taking care of some stallers and,
well, crippling everything. Great synergy with Rotom-W (as mentioned already), who takes
care of threatening fire- and flying-types. Too bad spore doesn't work on grass-types, but
oh well.
Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 48 Def / 216 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SpA)
- Defog
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Protect
My physical wall. I ran Defog on it instead of substitute because, even though my team
isn't exactly weak for SH, I like the idea of getting rid of the stacking entry hazards
anyway. Also, defog cleaning my side of the field is not a problem since I have no-one
setting them in the first place.
So what do you guys think?
