Rate my First Ever Shoddy team

Welcome, to my first ever RMT on Smogon. Basically, this is my first ever planned team, and my plan was to back up their team mate's weaknesses. here we go.

So, let's go:

Starmie @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA/252 Spe/6 HP
Nature: Modest
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Grass/Fighting (70)
- Rapid Spin/ Ice Beam

My lead. Life Orb for extra power, but still having a choice of moves. HP Grass will take care of some ground types thinking they're safe from the T Bolt that got drawn from Gyarados, but Garchomp and Mamoswine are safe, while HP Fighting takes down the Ice, rock and normal types. Rapis Spin for support, Ice Beam for Ground types like Garchomp, unthreatened by any other moves.

Dragonite @ Yache Berry
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP
Nature: Jolly
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch
- Outrage

DDing Dragonite is a big threat, and can be a team sweeper with a couple of Dragon Dances. Yache Berry to weaken the inevitable Ice attack.

Azelf @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 36 Atk/ 220 Spe/ 252 SpA
Nature: Naive
- Explosion
- U Turn
- Flamethrower
- Psychic

Life Orb Azelf. U Turn laughs at the Dark Types who switch in expecting a Psychic, Flamethrower for coverage, Psychic for coverage and Explosion to finish off.

Forretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/ 162 Atk/ 96 Def
Nature: Relaxed
- Explosion
- Gyro Ball
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin

My physical wall. I probably don't need Rapid Spin on Starmie, but it's an option. Anyways, sets up Toxic Spikes, Rapid Spins, hits on things with Gyro Ball, and Explodes.

Weavile @ Liechi Berry
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Ark/ 252 Spe/ 6HP
Nature: Jolly
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Ice Punch/ Ice Shard.
- Night Slash

My physical sweeper. Hopefully predict well, and sub on their switch. Sweep. Hopefully <__<. Ice Punch for hurting, or Ice Shard for priority.

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP/ 24 Def/ 232 Spe
Nature: Bold
- Mean Look
- Baton Pass
- Toxic
- Wish

My special wall. Needs serious reconsideration, as it's very unreliable.

There you have it, I won't be able to reply for a bit, sorry.

i like how you have 2 walls to cover your team as for your special wall you may wanna try spiritomb considering it doesnt have a real type weakness
ice beam is a good idea for starmie so that you dont have to rely on weavile as much to ko a dragon

I have lots of things to say about this team.

First of all, Starmie dosen't really need Hidden Power. Standard, Recover/Thunderbolt/Rapid Spin/Recover Starmie works greatly. It also covers Gyardos, unlike yours right now.

This team is pretty Scarfchomp/Yache Berry Garchomp weak, so I reccomend using Bronzong over Foretress. Foretress can take big from repeated Fire Fangs/Fire Blasts from Garchomp, while Bronzong takes around 35% from Adamant Garchomp Fire Blast.

Dragonite is fine, though I would consider Life Orb over Yache Berry, as that extra kick really helps.

Azelf seems fine.

Weavile may want to be Banded, as randomly firing CB Night Slash/Ice Punch hurts. It can also be Swords Dance Life Orb, 2HKOing many walls.

Replace Umbreon for RestTalk Hetran. 252 HP/208 Spdef/48 Spatk with Lava Plume, Earth Power, Rest, and Sleep Talk, make sure to use Modest though.

Overall, this team isn't really that good. It's pretty Mixmence weak, while a predicting Scarf Ape can hurt this team pretty bad too. Scarf Togekiss is a pretty big problem too. Scarf Gar can hurt this team pretty bad too. I'm going to suggest using RestTalk Zapdos somewhere in this team.

I probaly was going to say more, but I think I missed out on something.

hmm. I'm questioning your current Starmie as a lead. First off, as Modest, it's outspeed by Max Speed 110s (like Gengar). Especially since your running Rapid Spin on the lead, you lose an attack for anti set up which you may not even have the chance to use. I'd go HP Grass for Swampert leads, and possibly change to Modest.

And yeah, I question Umbreon as your wall here. Essentially, your missing two turns hear to even set up and do damage, and in that time, there are a lot of things that can kill you. The only thing you could trap is walls, which the battlers would need to be complete idiots to put there. Milotic may function as a replacement, as you can absorb the Fire/Ice attacks against Forretress and Dragonite respectivly if needed, and not make an even larger weakness to Dark, Fighting, or Bug (Heracross) Rest Talk would be good, as it'd let you absorb status, and it'd be bulky both sides.

I'm not so sure about the weavile set. Focus Punch can't be used after 3 subs, so maybe try and use Sword Dance and Salac Berry, to give a better chance late game.

Eh, well most of the weakness has been pointed out. Anyways Zapdos would do well over Umbreon to cover your fighting weak. Use the standard Rapid Spinning Starmie instead and make either Foretress your lead, or Scarf Azelf and use that. Reflect over Explosion on Foretress since you actually need it to live. Weavile seems like the weakest link. I would stick a choice band on it or even replace it for something more usedful to the team like Heatran or Snorlax.
