This is the my first competitive battling team. I've been using it on Soddy for a few weeks with moderate success. This team was built around the basic goal of using pokemon with respectable defenses to reduce the need for walls. Well, here it goes.
Arcanine @ Leftovers
Intimidate
78 HP/180 ATK/252 SPE
Jolly
-Flare Blitz
-Thunder Fang
-Extremespeed
-Will-o-wisp
This guy is a bit of mix between a "bulky" Arcanine and a traditional sweeper. Intimidate discourages common leads, specifically Weavile, Ambipom, and Infernade. Thunder Fang helps deal with Taunt Gyarados and Taunt Aerodactyl. Unfortunately Azlef and Gengar give him a little trouble but they still won't like taking a Will-o-wisp and Arcanine has the survivability to enure one turn before switching to my wall.
Magnezone @ Salac Berry
Magnet Pull
118 HP/ 126 ATK/ 126 SP.ATK/ 140 SPE
Modest
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power [Ice]
-Substitute
-Explosion
This guy is pretty solid and can take more punishment than most sweepers. I get 3 substitutes before Salac activates and he explodes, taking the opponent with him.
Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Poison Heal
6 HP/ 252 ATK/ 252 SPE
Lonely
-Spore
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Seed Bomb
This guy is a monster! Spore and Sub on the switch guarantees a free Focus Punch on anything not named Gliscor. Seed Bomb takes care of bulkys like Swampert, Hippodown, and Rhyperior. Status immunity and excellent self healing. He really tears through teams like nothing else.
Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Pressure
252 HP/76 DEF/ 182 SP.DEF
Careful
-Will-o-wisp
-Thunderpunch
-Shadow Sneak
-Pain Split
My only true wall. Pretty standard mostly, Will-o-wisp physical threats. Even special sweepers like Gengar or mixed sweepers such as Lucario won't enjoy the health degeneration. Will-o-wisp/Intimidate will have decreased the opponents attack significantly so this Dusknoir is geared more toward special defense.
Alakazam @ Life Orb
Synchronize
6 HP/ 252 SP.ATK/ 252 SPE
Timid
-Psychic
-Focus Blast
-Shadow Ball
-Charge Beam
Standard Life Orb Zam. Charge Beam provides good type coverage with a high chance of raising his already enormous Sp. Atk. Not much more to say.
Dragonite @ Lum Berry
Inner Focus
60 HP/ 252 ATK/ 198 SPE
Jolly
-Dragon Dance
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Fire Punch
Because no team is complete without at least one Earthquake user. DD/Outrage combo is pretty impressive to watch. Fire Punch deals with pesky ice types.
Comments are much appreciated.
