Rate my guys

Hey there! With Gen 6 I finally entered the competitive side of Pokémon and the following fellas accompanied me on my way.

Daruma (Darmanitan) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Rock Slide
- Superpower
- U-turn

Ah.. Darmanitan. I just love him. There are a few things that resist the Flare Blitz of this guy. Honestly I don't use the other moves very often but when I used them they came in very handy. I don't need to say that I have destroyed teams with this burning monkey. You all should know how scary he is. Furthermore he's my best Aegislash counter. King's shield? Fine. Lower my attack. I will still OHKO you with my Flare Blitz.

Match (Breloom) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Spore
- Return

Together with Darmanitan my strongman. Technician is just an incredible ability and works perfect with this boxing mushroom. Even if they knock off the Life Orb, the Bullet Seed still does a ton of damage. And it's always good to put things to sleep. I honestly don't know why I have Return on him. There was a time I used the Spore/Focus Punch Combo but that never worked out. Perhaps I could go with Bulk Up or even Leech Seed.

Ray (Galvantula) (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Modest Nature
- Sticky Web
- Bug Buzz
- Energy Ball
- Thunder

Ladys and gentleman.. the asshole. No seriously. Sometime I think people hate me right off the bat when they see this guy in my team. I can't blame them. Sticky Web is an amazing and dangerous move. And to be honest: It's most of the time my key strategy. After the sticky web most of the opponents are slower than Darmanitan. And then comes the Flare Blitz. Simple but effectiv. But of course there are times I don't start with the web. It's always fun to lead with this thing against a Mega Absol and OHKO it with Bug Buzz. And thanks to the Sash and the Compound Thunder, Mega Charizard isn't that big of a deal either.

Sleimuk (Muk) (M) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Poison Touch
EVs: 216 Atk / 252 HP / 40 SDef
Impish Nature
- Poison Jab
- Curse
- Ice Punch
- Shadow Sneak

The newest member of the team. Poison Touch and Jab work really well together since they have 60% chance to poison stuff. And if this guy has his Curse Setup thing are getting really ugly. At the moment I use Fire Punch. But perhaps the Fire Punch would be better for Steel Typs like Scizor. Shadow Sneak is nice to finish the opponent off or do a little damage befor the sticky guy faints.
Fun Fact: I didn't have a good nickname for this dude. So I just threw together the german name (Sleimok) and the englisch name. It's a nice pun. Somewhere.

Frogger (Poliwrath) (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Ice Punch
- Return
- Waterfall
- Low Sweep

First of all I didn't know that Poliwrath worked so well with the Assault Vest. It was a bit of a coinidence that I tried this out. And.. damn. Didn't know a Water/Fighting Type could handle Electric and Psychic moves so well. The Low Kick is nice for all the things that doesn't get affected by the sticky web. The Return? I don't know. Doesn't really fit into the set.

Pofflé (Slurpuff) (F) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Return
- Play Rough
- Thief

Last but not least: The only girl in my party. This little cupcake is my femme fatal. I love the Belly Drum/Unburden Combo. It's a little bit sad that Slurpuffs Movepool isn't that good for a physical attacker. In fact the movepool sucks. At least in this case. Thief is a last resort move. I don't really use it that often because it takes my Unburden boost away.

So.. yeah. There you have it. My Team. I hope you guys can give me some tipps, ideas and constructive criticism for these fellas. I'm looking forward to it!

Try using Swords Dance over Return on Breloom. Having the opportunity to set up with it seems preferable to using a non-STAB move with zero super effective coverage :)

Also you could replace Return on Slurpuff with Aromatherapy? Burn ruins four of your team members and paralysis a fifth so being able to remove that could be a good idea. Again, Return is non STAB so it may be worth trying? :)
