Rate My Mono Dark Team

Hey I need suggestions for my Mono Dark Team.

1.Absol@Focus Sash 252 ATK 252 Spe 4 HP
Ability:Super Luck

Swords Dance
Superpower
Night Slash
Sucker Punch

Absol is the reason I made Mono Dark,as he is my favorite Pokemon.I put Focus Sash on him so he can get a guaranteed Swords Dance, and I usually lead with him.Capable of sweeping 3-4 Pokes at times.I've even swept entire teams with him.

2.Bisharp@Life Orb 252 ATK 252 Spe 4 HP
Ability:Inner Focus

Brick Break
Sucker Punch
Iron Head
Swords Dance

Eh,Bisharp. While he does do well a lot of the time,if I were to take a Pokemon out of this team,it would probably be him.He wrecks the majority of an ice mono though.

3.Sableye@Leftovers 252 HP 252 SpD 4 Def
Ability:Prankster

Will o Wisp
Taunt
Substitute
Recover

My savior against Fighting Monos.(save Infernape)Kills a lot of sweepers and just generally annoys and disrupts the opponent.Thinking of Seismic Toss or
Night Shade for Infernape, but dont know if I should or what move to replace with it.

4.Honchkrow@Life Orb 252 HP 252 ATK 4 SpD
Ability:Super Luck

Superpower
Sucker Punch
Brave Bird
Heat Wave(for Skarmory)

The Pimp.Brave Bird kills Fighting types(and a lot of other things),and Heat Wave is for Skarmory and other Steels such as Ferrothorn. Can take a hit as well.

5.Krookadile@Life Orb 252 ATK 252 Spe 4 HP
Ability:Moxie

Crunch
Earthquake
Superpower
Stone Edge

A general sweeper.Sometimes when he gets to like x2 or x2.5 the opponent quits. This guy has great coverage.

6.Weavile@Focus Sash 252 ATK 252 Spe 4 HP
Ability:Inner Focus

Ice Shard
Night Slash
Ice Punch
Counter

Great revenge killer and Dragon Slayer.I was told that Counter might not be the best option but I don't know what I would run instead.Perhaps Fake Out.

I need something to kill Infernape because it completely poops on the whole team.

Howdy.
I run two mono-Dark teams so I have some insight here.

-Absol looks solid. He's not your absolute best choice, but he's your favorite, and you're running a decent set on him.

-I can strongly advocate you keeping Bisharp. He's an incredible Pokémon when used correctly. I would suggest Focus Sash, but then again you have no spinner options and therefore you may stick with LO. Also, consider Low Sweep on him; with proper prediction, he can hit the switch in pretty hard while lowering its Speed, allowing him to either use Iron Head or switch out while leaving the opponent with a slowed-down poke.

-Spiritomb, in my view, is superior to Sableye, as he can handle attackers well thanks to WoW and natural bulk (sort of). He's also not complete dead weight on the attacking side, and could provide this team with solid special coverage. Just saying. Plus, he can wreck Infernape with a well-timed Psychic if you choose to run it, but that's sort of a situational thing.

-Honchkrow is good, but I suggest replacing Heat Wave with Superpower. With no EVs in Honch for Special Attack, he's not even going to hit Skarmory too hard, especially on rain teams. Superpower does that and more.

-Krookodile is a good poke, I agree. However, I would recommend replacing him with Houndoom, who would completely solve your Skarmory issue with STAB Fire attacks, while also getting a switch in on Infernape thanks to Flash Fire (though you must predict this well.) He's also quite fast, and can run Sucker Punch and go mixed if you like. However, if you prefer Krookodile, you might want to consider a Choice Scarf set.

-Weavile is a solid choice for this team, but Sash-Counter sure ain't. That strategy gets shat on by entry hazards (Weavile hates SR) and Sandstorm. Replace Sash with Life Orb and replace Counter with Low Kick.

Side notes:
-Consider Cacturne. He works well against Rain teams thanks to Water Absorb, and packs great coverage and mixed attacking stats. He can take Water moves aimed at Houndoom, and Houndoom can absorb Fire attacks meant for Cacturne for free! I suggest my SD set:

Cacturne @ Focus Sash
4 HP | 252 Atk | 252 Spe
Adamant (or Jolly, your choice)
Water Absorb
Drain Punch
Seed Bomb
Sucker Punch
Swords Dance

You could also run his Spikes set for hazard support. Or, for shock value, run a Nasty Plot set.
Sure, he may not seem viable in OU, but in this context, he sure is.

Hope this helped!

oo sorry my Honchkrow always knew Superpower not Roost.I like Heat Wave,it actually sometimes OHKOs Skarmory and usually always OHKOs Ferrothorn.

I like Sableye over Spiritomb because of Prankster alone I think.Always goes first to screw the opponent over.

I will try your suggestions. Thanks for the help!

6-0 Absol sweep!

I run a mono dark team myself (spar sometime?) and I think your greatest mistake was giving Krookodile a life orb. IMO, Krookodile does way better with Choice Scarf. Scarf Heracross will always be a problem otherwise and rare appearances like Galvantula can stop ur sweep prematurely.

Sableye is always good (I've swept mono fighting teams with that guy in the wings) and u shouldn't use spiritomb. With Sableye out of the way, however, a strong mixed sweeper (say LO Sharpedo) can murder ur entire team. I recommend something bulky as well. Mandibuzz works well.
