Okay, I'm relatively new to this, so give some grace please. I understand my team is probably terrible, that's why I'm posting it here. so... here goes
Politoed @ Leftovers
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Ice Beam
- Scald
- Toxic
- Protect
My main lead. Politoed is my ace and has served me well. I try to make him bulky, so I can send him out time and time again to start the rain. After the rain nerf, I'm unsure if I should keep leftovers or give damp rock. He will come out multiple times, so I left the leftovers for the heal( which really helps).
I gave it scald for beautiful hax. love the burning.Ice beam for extra coverage, seems to work fairly well. toxic is great for stalling , and same with protect
Ludicolo @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Giga Drain
- Ice Beam
- Rain Dance
Ludicolo, the partying, mexican duck... thing. Most people are probably aware of how ludicolo works.
He is my swift swim sweeper, plus he has the ability to help start the rain again. I'm thinking of getting rid of rain dance for focus blast though, because it hasn't been to useful. all his moves are for coverage, and the hydro pump does so much damage. Not much more to say here.
Blastoise @ Assault Vest
Ability: Rain Dish
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Ice Punch
- Waterfall
- Rapid Spin
- Zen Headbutt
blastoise Is my special wall, with great offensive capabilities. I haven't seen to many physical blastoises recently, but he still seems to work well. Of course he has rapid spin, since he's capable of it. waterfall for STAB, and ice punch/ zen headbutt for coverage. I'm thinking of replacing ice punch for something else, because it seems to do too little, plus I have other ice moves on other pokemon.
Slowking @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Slack Off
- Toxic
- Flamethrower
- Psychic
Slowking is my defensive choice. Aside from his speed, he really can be powerful, plus his ability is pretty good. I have no water STAB, because honestly, I'm not afraid of running out of water moves. flamethrower is just awesome coverage. I also really like the move toxic, If you haven't guessed. lastly, I use slack off to regain health, and help stall my toxic more.
Quagsire @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Recover
Another one of my favorite pokemon. Quagsire is just great. He can absorb electric moves, and he also has an insanely useful ability, unaware. He is another defensive pokemon, but instead of stalling with toxic, his goal is to curse to victory. Earthquake is just a powerful STAB. Rock slide is good against flying types, who can avoid earthquake. recover is good after a few curses.
Greninja @ Choice Scarf
Ability: protean
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Shadow Sneak
- Rock Slide
- U-turn
My final pokemon, Greninja. I am Use a physical scarf version. He revenge kills for me, which is pretty good with the ability protean. I'm possibly thinking of another pokemon that would work for a scarfer, but greninja seems to work just fine. I understand HP fire is weird, but it is pretty strong against ferrothorn.
uturn keeps my momentum, and rock slide helps against flying pokes'. I use shadow sneak against pokemon who are almost dead, and STAB shadow sneak does pretty good damage for a + priority.
Well, that was my team. Again, I am new to this, so sorry If it isn't very good. I am very willing to accept change, even replacing pokemon. Also, I'm sorry if I provided too little info about each pokemon, but I tried to provide enough so that each one's goal was evident.
Lastly, I want to thank you for taking your time to read this. ^^
