Rate My New Gen V Team!!!

Jalorda
name: Dual Snake Lead
move 1: Light Screen
move 2: Reflect
move 3: Gastro Acid
move 4: Leaf Blade
item: Light Clay
ability: Overgrow
nature: Jolly
evs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpDef

This guy makes an excellent lead as he can set up the two screens before dying. This helps Pokémon like Emboar switch in easier. Leaf blade is filler, and incase of taunt.
Gastro acid removes annoying abilities like mischievous heart and poison heal. Jolly nature gives it a small speed boost without harming any vital stats. The Defenses allow him to last even longer after setting up screens.

Enobuu
name: Physical Soldier
move 1: Heat Stamp
move 2: Hammer arm
move 3: Wild Bolt
move 4: Stone edge
item: Expert Belt
ability: Blaze
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe

This is a standered physical sweeper. I didn’t like the recoil damages, so I switched them to non recoil versions. Expert belt lets him hit hard, while still changing attacks. I kept Wild bolt to deal with waters. His Stone Edge hits flying types that try to switch in, while Hammer arm hits rocks and darks. Heat stamp hits Just about everything else.

Daikenki

name: Physical Samurai
move 1: Aqua Jet
move 2: Shell Blade
move 3: Dragon Tail
move 4: X scissor
nature: Adamant
item: Life orb
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

Aqua jet hits as priority STAB. Shell blades there for a useful defense drop on things trying to stall. X scissor over Mega horn for accuracy. It also mauls grasses that try and switch in. Dragon tail hits neutral on most things and forces switches against bulky waters. Adamant nature over jolly since I can out speed anything with aqua jet.

Roobushin
name: SubPunch
move 1: Substitute
move 2: Focus Punch
move 3: Mach Punch
move 4: Payback
item: Leftovers
ability: Guts
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe

This is a Standard Sub punch set. With his low speed and good bulk, he should be able to set up a substitute. Then, he can focus punch without fear. Anything that survives can be mach punched. Payback hits ghosts. He can repeat this repeatedly as leftovers heals him, and if he gets burnt, he will get a boost through guts, so if I expect a will-o-wisp, I can switch in. This also discourages paralyzing or poisoning him.

Zoroark
name: Special Kitsune
move 1: Nasty Plot
move 2: Night Burst
move 3: Focus Blast
move 4: Flamethrower
item: focus sash
nature: Timid
evs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

he partners well with my bulky ghost. Also, since they both learn nasty plot, the illusion is even further boosted. After nasty plot, he becomes much stronger specially. Night burst’s there for power, and focus blast hits blissey and chansey. Flamethrower burns bugs, and hits steels without relying on focus blast. Focus sash helps him survive hits since he is relatively frail.

Desukan
name: Bulky coffin
move 1: Rest
move 2: Haze
move 3: Shadow Ball
move 4: Will-O-Wisp
item: Bulls Eye
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SDef

This guy can burn and stall out enemies with rest. Haze stops people from setting up on him. Shadow ball gets STAB, and with the bulls eye, he can even hit normal’s in case he is taunted. His ability works like gastro acid, neutralizing unfavorable abilities on Pokémon like gliscor who try and hit him. His Ghost typing also makes him an effective partner for Zoroark, as, since he is a ghost type, they wont try fighting moves, and bug is unlikely.

Well, what do you think? It works ALOT better than my previous team.

First of all cool F/W/G trio. Why would you put a focus sash on zoroark? It would only work if your opponent didnt use stealth rock or spikesp.s how do you post things just wondering.

you do not have any spikers on your team may i suggest forretress
Forretress
shed shell
Evs:252 hp,252 def or sdef (depending on nature),4 atk stealth rock
toxic spikes
payback
rapid spin

If your looking for a Screener, why not use Espeon? It reflects entry hazards and status with Magic Mirror, and it's a bit more bulky with better typing. You could probably run DualScreen, Calm Mind, and Baton Pass to support your team while using Screens in a better way. Besides, you're not going to be hitting anything with Leaf Blade, while Gastro Acid is only going to bother Ninjask and MAYBE Eruffun if you're switching out, but Espeon reflects everything Eruffun carries except for Substitute and SOMETIMES Cotton Guard. If this is wi-fi, then you could also run an anti-lead like Togekiss or Machamp. Kojondo and Eruffun work great as well, while the former can easily eliminate other leads, and the latter can set up screens and taunt before they set up hazards.

No offense, but your being contadictory by saying you don't like recoil, but he's carrying Wild Bolt. He also isn't going to be sweeping with his awefull speed, and Expert Belt is easily outclassed by Life Orb. I don't know why you have two fighting types though, it's a bit dangerous with things like Shanderaa and Rankurusu running around. I'd definetley replace this with something like Urugamosu, Shanderaa, Hihidaruma, or Speed Boost Blaziken (if you can get him, this sounds like Wi-Fi) if you're looking for a good Fire Type.

This guy is outclassed by ALOT of other offensive water types. Things that come to mind are Cloyster, Kerudio, Gyarados, Kingdra, Starmie, and Rotom-W (unless you're in Wi-Fi). You would also never want to run a negative priority move on a "sweeper", it's suicide. Megahorn is also a way better option than X-Scissor, seeing as how Gengar can easily pull off Focus Blast and Starmie can easily fire off a Hydro pump with no problem. I'd definetley replace this with something like Cloyster or Gyarados.

Roobushin
name: SubPunch
move 1: Substitute
move 2: Focus Punch
move 3: Mach Punch
move 4: Payback
item: Leftovers
ability: Guts

Hmmm, it seems okay to me. Having only Leftovers as your way of recovery and a Burn aren't going to keep you and your subs around for long though...

Zoroark
name: Special Kitsune
move 1: Nasty Plot
move 2: Night Burst
move 3: Focus Blast
move 4: Flamethrower
item: focus sash
nature: Timid
evs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

Sash isn't really going to do anything for you, while your opponent will immedietley know your Zoroark if they don't see Leftovers on a Desukan. The idea of patnering it with Desukan sounds good, but it also works for Gengar if you wait to use Nasty Plot later on, since no one in their right mind would hit Gengar with a Fighting or Bug type move.

Desukan
name: Bulky coffin

Try telling that to Urugamosu, Denchura, and Pendoraa. The SpD isn't really going to do much for you. It's better off to just run Calm Mind, which you could esily do if you replace Haze. Speaking of which, it's not going to help you prevent them from setting up during the two turns you're asleep. Normal types never Taunt, while you're not going to be doing anything to the almighty Blissey, Chansey, and Porygon-2 (what other normal types run around in OU besides the occasional Chiraccino?), which means you should definetley give him Leftovers to keep him alive longer, even with Rest.

Well, what do you think? It works ALOT better than my previous team.
Sorry if I came off a bit strong, but I'm just helpin' ya' out.! :D

As a quick question, is this PO or Wi-Fi?

@Mike-since he's running Hyper-Offense instead of Balanced or Stall, Spikes aren't as neccessary.

Its PO, but eventualy I want to go Wi-fi. I realy like the idea of using the three starters on a team. Also, I probably wont be able to get Wi-fi.

Using starters, or any pokemon at all, because you like them isn't going to help you do well. Just a thought, since the team needs help...

Maybe I'll use them for the battle subway then! Don't know what I'll replace them with though. what Item should go on zoroark? I want to keep him, roopushin and desukahn, maybe I'll use uglamoth again.

I can help you out of course! Zoroark, Desukan, and Zoroark should be fine, but they might need some adjustments. What you replace the starters with depends on wht you're trying to accomplish with your team. Bulky Offense? Hyper Offense? Balanced? That determines what they should be replaced with. Zoroark should probably hold either Leftovers or something like Lum Berry or Life Orb to keep the illusion while you set up Nasty Plots.

Don't make his team for him Tyrant. We can critique teams, but we shouldn't have to recontruct them.

Tyrant was right in that if you want a dual screen lead, Espeon is amazing. Uxie is pretty damn good since it can use Trick and it has much better defenses. Emboar and Samurott both have no place in OU in general really. If you're bothering to use screens you should use a setup pokemon. Something with Calm Mind or Dragon Dance. Volcerona like you mentioned would enjoy Reflect, but you need Rapid Spin support.

I would Like to try and make a balanced team. I have been testing a ferrothorn and Volcarona. VVolcarona works reasonably well. I also tried switching my cofin for jelicsent to work with Ferrothorn, but they havent been working terrificly. I would use Espeon, but I don't have Wi-Fi access (no dream world), and I dont like using legendarys because my friends screem CHEAT, and then the next time I fight them they are pulling out ubers. Any other Ideas for a dual screen? I was going to use Cryogen (the snow flake) as a screener and rapid spinner, but he did'nt work. Also, if possible, I would like to use unova region pokemon only, or as mutch as possible.

EDIT: I tried dream world espeon on PO, it works quite nicley, but I wont be able to use it in the main game...

you really need drain punch on roopushin to heal yourself since leftovers by itself is very gradual recovery. You will be setting up multiple subs and it will take forever for leftovers to heal all that HP lost
