Rate my NU in OU team!

As the title says, I set out to make this team with the idea of it being completely NU. However, I plan to use this team all over the place. On PBR Wi-Fi, against my friends, and even Shoddy Battle once I get that fixed up (something is up with my computer and its coming up with an error whenever I go to load Shoddy). So I haven't tested this team yet as I have been unable to. Then again, I do already use a Cradily and Girafarig which are practically the same as these on wi-fi already and they seem to be much better than most would expect. But I have been putting a lot of thought into it and I'm fairly happy with how it is going.
Anyway, onto the team:

girafarig.png

-Lead-
(female)Girafarig @Light Clay
Inner Focus
252 HP / 160 Def / 32 SpA / 64 Spe
Timid
-Psychic
-Attract
-Wish
-Light Screen

This is where it all begins. If the opponent is male then go with Attract, if not I just use Light Screen straight up or switch. Girafarig basically forces switches with Attract (I really wanted to test Attract out, it worked very well for my Plusle on Wi-Fi) and gives it a turn to set up Light Screen which really helps out my more Defense orientated team. Psychic is there so she isn't stopped entirely by Taunt and so I don't have to switch like the opponent would probably want. Wish is also good to heal a teammate, again Attract can give Girafarig a chance to use it.
cradily.png

-Special sweeper annihilator-
Cradily @Lum Berry
Suction Cups
252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Careful
-Toxic
-Mirror Coat
-Barrier
-Recover

The main Pokemon of the team. He was the first Pokemon I thought of using when creating this team, the others came after. Cradily is excellent at taking special attacks and sending them back to KO the opponent. Barrier basically forces the opponent to use special attacks on Cradily, and by doing so they allow Cradily to clear the way for the other Pokemon who don't much like special attacks, such as Kingler and Mawile. Especially Electric moves. Toxic makes sure that the opponent is still taking some sort of damage while Cradily bulks up with Barrier or Recovers. Of course, physically orientated Steel- and Poison-types are major threats to Cradily due to this. And that is where the next Pokemon comes in.
sandslash.png

-Stealth Rock support-
Sandslash @Shell Bell
Sand Veil
252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Impish
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Rapid Spin
-Super Fang

Sandslash seems to be the perfect fit for the team. High Defense and Attack with access to Stealth Rock and Earthquake mean that Sandslash will be seeing a lot of light in battle, as Cradily will take out most Special attackers. Rapid Spin is there in case Toxic Spikes pops up, but is really just a filler. Its late and I'm going to look into a replacement tomorrow, but perhaps Rapid Spin is worth the spot? Super Fang gives the opponent a nice surprise, although leaves Sandslash unable to hurt levitating Ghost-types. Not a big concern, but Night Slash might find its way onto the set. Earthquake means that Sandslash can handle the Poison- and Steel-types that Cradily can't use Toxic on. Uncertain on the EVs but Max. Speed allows Sandslash to move a little quicker which is always nice, although the target Poison- and Steel-types aren't often fast.
kingler.png

-Physical Sweeper-
Kingler @Life Orb
Hyper Cutter
68 HP / 252 Atk / 188 Spe
Adamant
-Agility
-Crabhammer
-Return
-Brick Break

The heavy hitter. Agility boosts his speed to a very nice level and Life Orb supplies all the extra power he needs. Added additional HP EVs so he can take a few more hits. Nothing too special here, just your average Agility sweeper.
pelipper.png

-Physical Wall/Tank-
Pelipper @Leftovers
Keen Eye
252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpA
Bold
-Surf
-Air Slash
-Stockpile
-Roost

Don't ask me why, because I don't really know. Pelipper has much more potential than people seem to give him. After an Agility, Pelipper becomes pretty fast, and with Roost and Air Slash could prove to be very annoying. Surf and Air Slash both get the STAB and also provide interestingly good coverage. Not only can he fight decently, Pelipper also has a huge Defense stat to take those hits. I haven't tested this but I'm pretty sure he could prove a pain for others to take down after Cradily has blasted through the opponent's special sweepers. Also, after an Agility Pelipper is able to Roost before many Pokemon can hit it which would be handy.
Stockpile rises both of Pelipper's defenses, which is much more useful than any speed boosts. Pelipper's job is to take hits, not to make sure he is faster than the opponent.
manectric.png

-Special Sweeper-
Manectric @Choice Specs
Static
252 SAtk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid
-Thunderbolt
-Flamethrower
-Hidden Power [Grass]
-Switcheroo

An easy way to pick off any remaining members of the opponent's team. Switcheroo and Chioce Specs will almost always hinder the opponent, if Cradily does his job properly. Thunderbolt, Flamethrower and Hidden Power [Grass] provide Manectric with a variety of moves to cover whatever Pokemon he may find himself facing. His pretty standard, though. Nothing special about him. Switcheroo is sure to catch a lot of opponent's off guard, allowing Manectric the chance to take out the Pokemon or switch to another who may be more comfortable (Kingler, or Pelipper, coud use the oppurtunity to come in safely and begin setting up).

So that's it. Remember, this is intended to be a NU themed team. I see now that the team requires a bit of patience to use, so I'll be keeping that in mind. If there is anything you think I should have added, then just tell me and I'll put it in.

This team in OU is a joke. I'll move it to the "other teams" section so it can be rated as a PBR\custom rules team.

Hmmm, not saying I agree with Haunter here, since I frequently mess 4th gen OU up using NU pokes, I don't care what any "OU Pro" says, NU is full of unappreciated diamonds, but this team could do with a few changes.

Firstly, you could do with a poison type to soak up any toxic spikes, if you ever find anyone using them on PBR, or something with heal bell/aromatherapy for ridding your spinner of status, and the rest of your team for that matter. If you ever feel the need for a replacement to any of your team, try this as one to switch anyone for:

Lopunny @ Flame Orb
Klutz
252 HP / 4 Spec Def / 252 Speed
Jolly
- Switcheroo
- Encore
- Heal Bell
- Return / Thunder Wave

Good for annoyance, can counter physical sweepers and those who wish to set up, whatever you want.

Hmm...
What immediately jumps out at me is the choice in Attract. I wouldn't use it, because it just seems risky.
Also, you know how you want your opponent to use special attacks against Cradily? Doesn't that make Light Screen a bad choice on Giraferig?
And another concern of mine is that if Cradily faints before your opponent uses its special sweeper against something else, doesn't that put you in a very akward position?

Still, nice theme team.

I wouldn't know what to take out, Lord Gubbins, to put Lopunny in. But I would think that it would definately help...
Personally, though, I've never encountered Stealth Rock or Toxic Spikes on PBR. I gave Sandslash Rapid Spin because I figured that since I won't JUST be using this team on PBR it'd be worth it... I don't know how often that will end up happening with pretty much all my friend's preparing for Black and White. Lopunny's Flame Orb and Heal Bell would benefit the team greatly, though. Perhaps if I took out Manectric?

And, Jason, Attract seems much less risky than Encore. I'm still working on getting my predictions right, and I just feel more comfortable with Attract. Most Pokemon I encounter end up being Male anyway, which I discovered while using Plusle and Attract. And Girafarig needs to be able to stop the opponent, which Attract does the quickest and easiest out of all of her moves. Thunder Wave just doesn't have the right amount of chance, and what if Girafarig Encore's an attack? She won't last very long.

Light Screen was more put in for the other members of the team, in case Cradily DOES fall. I had Reflect at first, and I swapped between the two quite often. Reflect may be better for Cradily to take a little more from a physical attack... I'm still undecided, honestly. I'll have to try and get my shoddy battle back so I can test it out, see what works out better.

Ah, see, this is where Light Screen can come in handy. If Cradily goes down I would switch in Girafarig to set up a Light Screen, Wish or Attract the opponent or send in either Manectric or Kingler to scare the Pokemon out (and Kingler can Agility on that switch out) or try to KO the opponent straigh off the bat.
Hopefully that works out. But Cradily shouldn't be fainting after getting a Barrier or two up from a whole lot (bar things it is weak to), and it does still have a nice amount of Defense. Plus it can Recover. If I play it right, Cradily should survive for a decent amount of time to take out any special sweepers (as well as wearing down any other non Poison- or Steel-typed Pokemon with Toxic).

But thanks. Both of you.
