Alright, I'm back with another team. This one will use standard OU pokes instead of lower tier pokes like last time. This team is probably the best team I've ever made, because it has given me the best results. This team has a Heatran core because Heatran IMO is pretty good.
Heatran (M) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Flash Cannon
- Earth Power
- Dark Pulse
The core of this team is Heatran. When battling against Heatran one day, I realized that this poke is really annoying. Flash Fire and Air Balloon make a great switch-in. It's bulky and it hits hard. Fire Blast and Flash Cannon are its best STABs. Earth Power takes down a wide variety of pokes. Dark Pulse is for things like Latios and Latias.
Starmie @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin
- Dazzling Gleam
Starmie while lacks defenses, is still very good. It covers Heatran's ground and fighting weaknesses. Natural Cure is just for convenience so it won't have to deal with status for long. Starmie hits hard with a Life Orb and is very fast. Scald is a great STAB move. Ice Beam and Dazzling Gleam are for taking down many other pokes, increasing Starmie's sweeping capability. Rapid Spin is for getting entry hazards off, because those are bad for every team.
Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 84 Atk / 172 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
Mega Diancie makes a good possible lead and mixed sweeper. It also covers Heatran's fighting weakness. Stealth Rock makes for a really good lead, because, like I said before, entry hazards are bad for every team. Moonblast and Diamond Storm are its STABs. Diamond Storm is a physical move so I had to divide its attack and special attack stats. Diamond Storm also has a 50% of raising defense, which covers up for Mega Diancie's poor defense. Earth Power is another good move to take down other pokes.
Gardevoir (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Trace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
Choice Scarf Gardevoir will throw off a lot of your opponents. Gardevoir covers Heatran's fighting and water weaknesses. Trace will give it the opposing poke's ability, which could be good or bad in some cases. Max special attack makes a hard hitter. Max speed plus Choice Scarf will not only catch many opponents off guard, but also makes Gardevoir a good sweeper. Moonblast and Psyshock are its best STABs. Focus Blast covers its steel type weakness. And Thunderbolt is for taking down water types.
Kyurem-Black @ Choice Band
Ability: Teravolt
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Fusion Bolt
- Outrage
- Iron Head
Kyurem-Black is a savage. IMO Kyurem-Black is one of the best physical sweepers in OU. It also works well with Heatran, being a good switch-in to water types. Max HP gives a whopping 454 HP, making it very bulky on top of its average defenses. Max attack (482) plus Choice Band gives it a monstrous 723 attack. Dragon Claw for a safer STAB option than Outrage. Fusion Bolt for taking out water types. Outrage is a STAB late-game clean-up move. Iron head is mainly for fairy, ice, and rock types.
Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Swords Dance
Landorous-Therian is a good place-holder poke. Leftovers plus max HP makes it very bulky. Intimidate is good for switching-in to physical sweepers. It has a very standard moveset, nothing special. Earthquake for STAB. Knock off for the opponent switching out. U-turn is good for pivoting and momentum. Swords Dance is for forcing switches, making it a very good physical sweeper. Other than that there isn't really much else to say about this poke.
This team has a few counters and weaknesses (Mega Swampert core, offensive rain team is the worst for this team). As always, I hope you enjoy my team if you plan on using it, and post your results if you do use it. Feel free to give me new and better ideas. as well as (constructive) criticism. Also feel free to post your own teams as well.
