Rate my OU sun team.

This is my first OU sun team please tell me if it is any good.
Ninetales (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Drought
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Overheat
- Dark Pulse
- Psyshock
- SolarBeam
Obviosly the lead in ninetales for setting sun and he is an all out attacker and i I ever counter blissey psyshock is there. For wate types I have solar beam.I've given him specs to add the damage given to my opponent.
Charizard (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Solar Power
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- SolarBeam
- Fire Blast
- Air slash
- Overheat
Charizard is a great sweeper and can dent team with fire blast and overheat.Solarbeam can anhilate some grass types and for dragons and fighting types I can use air slash.Charizard can recover from the damage taken from solar power using leftovers.
Venusaur (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- SolarBeam
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Growth
My main sweeper is venusaur. The trick is to set up using growth and then sweep teams with awesome coverage resisted by heatran only.Hp fire can take down steel types and opposing venusaur.Solarbeam is the main attack for venusaur and sludge bomb is for pokemon who resist solarbeam and need to be hit with a stronger move then hp fire. The speed of venusaur under sun exceeds every unboosted pokemon and he isn't frail so he can easily kill att least 4 pokemon before going down.Lifeorb increase the damage to even more higher level.
Gengar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Will-O-Wisp
- Substitute
- Psychic
Here comes my 3rd sweeper. This guy has helped me alot.It can if I counter a pokemon with eq as a lead I can switch into gengar and attack with shadow ball.If someone uses sword dance to boost attack I can burn him and then kill him.The coverge isn't god but gengar's burning ability helps me a lot.Shadow ball has quite a high attack power and dent the opponent.
Hitmontop (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Sucker Punch
- Close Combat
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
Here comes my rapid spinner. His high attack help him act like an attcker too.The coverage is also quite good and I can trap opponent with sucker punch or attack him with high power close combat.
Rhydon (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Lightningrod
EVs: 28 Atk / 228 Def / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Dragon Tail
- Fire Punch
Rhdon act as a good wall who hurts a lot.If my opponent uses boosting moves I can easily dragon tail him.Fir punch gives him good coverage plus a great attack to use in sun.SR makes opponent's focus sahs useless and destroyes pokemon like volcarona and charizard.EQ is the main stab attack and hurts a lot if the opponent dosen't resists it.

A number of things that can be fixed in this team.

complaint 1. why Rhydon?? first of all his EVs are wack, use 252 HP and an Attack or Defense(maybe) boosting nature. Second, why is he on you team? I really dont see the synegy. Use something like Porygon2.

complaint2. Hitmontop doesnt need sweeper EVs,and he doesnt need EQ either, put Stone edge in there and use 252 HP EVs,252 Defense and Impish or Adamant. Consider Foresight over Sucker Punch.

complaint3. Gengar. Will o wisp is ok but Psychic??? use Focus Blast or HP Fire for Ferro. And use Black Sludge.

Venusaur is fine for the most part but consider using Energy ball just in case sun is removed and you dont need max speed because of Chlorophyll, try running 212 Speed EVs or something and put HP EVs. Just a nitpick

Complaint4. Two fire moves is sometimes ok. Not on Charizard. Heatran walls your set to no end. At least get Focus Blast instead of Overheat and using HP Ice over Air slash helps too but thats your choice. Make him Timid and consider using Substitute, but i also strongly reccomend you use a Choice (Scarf) Charizard, youll rarely not use Fire Blast anyway.

Complaint5. your Ninetales is messed up. Drop Psyshock and Dark pulse. Add HP Fighting and Nasty Plot. Use Leftovers. So much better. And i would even consider using a bulky Ninetales set like a speccially defensive one to put more backbone into this team. Choice Ninetales just isnt good.

Well, theres my rate. Hope i helped

Hey,

A huge threat to Sun teams in OU is Heatran. In my opinion, your team does seem rather weak to it. For Gengar, I'd go with the SubDisable set. Will-O-Wisp is pretty useless on such a frail Pokemon, and Psychic is...bad. It doesn't even get a STAB boost. Focus Blast is much better, and it allows you to deal with Heatran with more ease.

Gengar @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Disable
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast

If you're Adamant on using Charizard, try out Focus Blast over Overheat. That will allow it to deal with Heatran with more ease, whilst getting more coverage. Fire Blast, boosted by Solar Power and Sun will suffice, and Overheat's additional power isn't needed. Anyways, you'll have to switch out, which isn't very appreciated. Try out Sunny Day Ninetales over your current one. Having a Choice Specs on your weather starter is very redundant, since it means you'll have to switch out a lot. Sunny Day Ninetales gives you more bulk, and doesn't force it to use a single move. Having Sunny Day is a back up against Tyranitar and Politoed, who will be forced right out because of losing their weather. It also lets you use SolarBeam with more reliability. For the set itself, Will-O-Wisp lets you burn physical sweepers, and helps Ninetales out a lot, since it doesn't have much physical bulk.

Ninetales @ Leftovers
Trait: Drought
EVs: 128 HP / 252 SpA / 20 SpD / 108 Spe
Modest Nature (+SpA, -Atk)
- Sunny Day
- SolarBeam
- Fire Blast
- Will-O-Wisp

For your Hitmontop, I'd recommend a Physically Defensive variant, with an EV spread of 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk spread. You'll need to use it a lot for Rapid Spin support, so this spread will let it take hits much better. I'd replace Earthquake by Toxic, to help you against stall. Earthquake won't be hitting hard, and doesn't provide too much coverage anyways.
