This is a mainly offensive team that uses a core of Hawlucha and Koko to open the door for stored power Latias.
Salamence @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Fly
Salamance provides coverage against mons that this team is weak against, and is a good setup option in itself as a sweeper or a wall breaker. Max speed is invested to at least tie with mons like megazard. EQ provides good coverage against electric and steel types, which is important for protecting Koko. Stone Edge helps to clean up flying types that are immune to EQ and can give Hawlucha problems. Fly can be used against protect sets, and Flyinium Z gives Salamence a powerful STAB wallbreaking tool.
Landorus-Therian @ Yache Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Explosion
Standard rocks setter for the most part. Stealth rock is vital for any team, slowly wearing down enemies. U turn provides momentum, which is important for a lead. EQ is a standard STAB move, and it does great damage to anything that doesn’t resist it. The punch line of this set is explosion. It’s a nasty surprise for anything that switches in when I sac Lando. It does great damage to opposing pivots and can KO a weakened mon.
Magearna @ Assault Vest
Ability: Soul-Heart
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Iron Head
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Fleur Cannon
Magearna is able to sponge hits from pretty much any special attacker and deal damage back in return, severely damaging fighting, fairy, and dark types. Greninja is absolutely rekt by this set, as it could switch into a VS and then have to deal with another sweeper. VS is chosen instead of TB so that sweepers can take advantage of opportunities and get in safely. Fleur cannon is the STAB move of choice that damages severely. HP fire kills other steel types like Kartana and Ferrothorn, both annoying mons to deal with.
Tapu Koko @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Roost
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
- Defog
Koko’s electric terrain is one of the most crucial parts of this team. It powers up TB, which is crucial to take out mons like Greninja. It also allows Hawlucha to get its set up with unburden. Koko acts as the defogger for this team, so Shuca berry is necessary to keep it alive in case of a prediction or mishap. HP ice is great to take our rockers like Lando T and Gliscor when they come back in to get rocks set up again. They may think that you’ll be an easy target and switch, but you’ll be able to outspeed and hurt them badly or KO them. Special set is used because it provides better versatility.
Hawlucha @ Electric Seed
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 68 HP / 252 Atk / 188 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Acrobatics
- Swords Dance
- High Jump Kick
- Roost
The second half of the combo with Koko. Electric seed allows Hawlucha to take hits or not be 2hkoed so it can set up SD. Along with unburden, you can have +2 ATk +2 SPE +1 DEF in only ONE turn. This mon destroys steel types like Heatran and Ferrothorn, and takes out fast mons like Lopunny Mega and Greninja. Well this team just destroys Greninja in general. Try to bait out all of the enemy revenge killers to open the door for Latias.
Latias-Mega @ Latiasite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Roost
- Stored Power
- Thunderbolt
A +3 stored power can OHKO Regice after rocks. Regice has 200 base SPD. This set is GOOD. Make sure to take out any faster mons and scarfers and you’ll be rewarded with an easy sweep. It’s pretty much foolproof, save dark types. Latias completes a team that destroys Toxapex, a top 5 mon in the tier. Thunderbolt is interchangeable with moves like Draco or ice beam, depending on what mons you’re having trouble with. Try not to reveal the set for the act of surprise.
