Well I don't usually play tiers since I'm new at this but it would be classified as OU. Its a rain dance team i made that been having a lot of luck and really helping me win. The reason I made this team is because my favorite kind of pokemon are water types and my two favorite pokemon are sceptile and starmie, but i ended up cetering a team around the little starfish pokemon.
It main goal is to set up rain and frick the opponent as much as possible then rinse and repeat(no pun intended) x)
Kingdra @ Damp Rock
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Sp Atk/ 252 Spe / 4 Hp
Nature: Timid
- Hydro Pump
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Rain Dance
The lead of this team, kingdra has a lot of bulk and speed which really helps it set up rain for 8 turns. Its main offense is hydro pump which is beefed up by the rain often killing or atleast hurting most pokemon. Timid is for outrunning other pokemon both with and without rain which is really important, the loss of power is okay.
Starmie @ Life Orb/Choice Scarf
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Sp Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Hp
Nature: Modest
- Surf
- Psychic
- Thunder
- Ice Beam
My favorite of the team and for many reasons besides it looks. Its fast, hits hard, and has excellent coverage often hitting everything for neutral but most of the time super effective damage. It can also absorb statuses but i have to be careful with that. Life orb is for maximum damage and my prefered item, but sometimes there are faster threats i need to get rid of and rain combind with surf is still very powerful
Ludicolo @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Sp Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Def
Nature: Modest
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Energy Ball
- Rain Dance
Special sweeper of my team, and can also set up rain again but that only for special occasions. It hits hard and more importantly it can fight off pesky grass, and water types that decided to get in the way. Everything is set up for ludicolo to hit as hard as possible.
Kabutops @ Focus Sash
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Hp
Nature: Jolly
- Waterfall
- Rock Edge
- Return
- Sword Dance
Physical Sweeper of the team and really a monster under rain. Focus sash is there to in sure kabutops is able to set up, without sword dance kabutops is not very reliable at hurting neutral pokemon. Again i choose jolly to help kabutops keep up with and without rain.
Lucario @ Focus Sash/ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Hp
Nature: Adamant
- Close Combat
- Extreme Speed
- Earthquake
- Sword Dance
Sometimes i lead off with him to not tell people this is a rain team and lucario itself is a big threat. I choose inner focus because I would rather lucario have a turn then get a speed boost. Sword Dance is important as it really lets lucario hurt and its move can take advadtage of that. Rain also lets lucario remove his fear of fire to a extent. Earthquake is important to hurt metagross who can probably survive unboosted clsoe combats and dont care about extreme speed.
Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Hp/ 128 Def/ 128 Sp Def
Nature: Careful
- Rain Dance
- Earthquake
- Hypnosis
- Explosion
The only real tank of the team, under rain which it can set up itself, it has no weaknesses which is a great bonus. If kingdra feels unsafe against its opposing enemy it can switch to bronzong who carries hypnosis to put one pokemon to slee[ as it sets up. Earthquake is there for electrics and other things and when bronzong has done its job it can explode to allow safe swithces to its frailier parthers.
Done thanks for reading this and please help me by rating my team
