Hello everyone, I'm kinda new to the RU metagame, so this team probably isn't the best. I've peaked at about 1300 with this team. I know that's not very good, so I was looking for some help from you guys.
2 Chainz (Steelix) @ Steelixite
Ability: Sturdy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Def / 160 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Earthquake
- Heavy Slam
I chose Steelix because I needed something to set up rocks. Steelix's defense is already great, so I decided to focus a bit more on its special defense. I've had Roar save me many times from being swept by something that set up on me. I use Steelix to switch in on poison-types and strong physical attackers, as it can take virtually any neutral physical attack.
Mow-trin' (Rotom-Mow) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Trick
Rotom acts as a pretty good revenge killer for me. Leaf Storm is a risky move becuase although it deals a lot of damage, if it doesn't OHKO you could be in trouble and forced to switch because of the SpA drop. Trick is great for crippling defensive mons (Tangrowth, Sigylyph, etc.).
Don't Move (Tyrantrum) @ Life Orb
Ability: Rock Head
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
Tyrantrum can hit extremely hard, and with a DD up it's deadly. It's speed is a bit lacking, but with jolly and a DD up, it can actually be pretty swift. Ice Fang is for Flygon and grass-types. Tyrantrum can be a great physical sweeper if it gets a chance to set up.
Mozilla (Delphox) @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Grass Knot
- Fire Blast
Delphox is a special attacker that can hit very hard. Grass Knot is great for water, rock, and ground types that are tempted to switch in to Delphox. Timid nature is to get some extra speed, as Delphox doesn't need the extra SpA if it can get a Calm Mind off.
YOLOSWAG (Scrafty) @ Leftovers
Ability: Shed Skin
EVs: 96 HP / 252 Atk / 160 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up
- Rest
- High Jump Kick
- Crunch
Scrafty is a great tank that can dish out some serious damage. Rest + Shed Skin is great for getting health back. Shed Skin also comes in handy for when it gets burnt. Bulk Up is to get it set up to be able to take attacks and deal some serious damage back. High Jump Kick can be risky but it hurts a lot. That could be replaced with Drain Punch.
Pimp Shrimp (Clawitzer) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Mega Launcher
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 160 HP / 252 SpA / 96 SpD
Modest Nature
- Aura Sphere
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Scald
Clawitzer is great for taking special attacks. Its moveset provides it with great versatility and Mega Launcher helps it dish out lots of damage. I went with Scald over Water Pulse because getting the burn can be very useful against some bulkier Pokemon and can cripple some physical attackers.

Threats
I've had problems with Ludicolo and Clawitzer because not much on my team can take its attacks besides, well, Clawitzer. I've also had issues with bulky Fairy types, especially if Steelix gets knocked out early.
