Whew, another RMT. This is the first RU team that I have actually liked relatively well, it's also the one that has undegone the most changes. Keep in mind that I am new(ish) to the RU tier, so if any of the movesets seem off, that's probably why. So, without further ado, let's get into the team.
Amoonguss @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4SAtk
Modest Nature
- Spore
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Clear Smog
Standard Amoongus set, Spore for putting threats to sleep. Clear Smog to take care of any Pokes who want to try and set up (Ruins BP teams), and finally Giga Drain and Sludge Bomb as my STAB moves. Regenerator is obviously the better of the two abilities that Amoongus can have so that doesn't need explaining. Overall, Amoongus is a great defensive Pokémon that can also deal out some heavy damage against most opponents.
Alomomola @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Toxic
- Wish
- Protect
- Scald
Yet another Regenerator tank. Alomomola is an amazingly bulky Pokémon, and a great choice for the water slot in my FWG core. I am also able to Toxic/Burn stall if I need to, eventhough it's a bit of a d*** move. Nothing else can really be said about Alomomola other than it's a great wall.
Gligar @ Eviolite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Defog
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Knock Off
1 word, Gligar. Need I say more? Well, I have to so I don't break the RMT rules. Gligar is an amazing defensive wall, as is it's evolved form Gliscor, but that isn't in this tier. If you thought Gligar wasn't enough of a tank already, Eviolite increases it even more. Other than that, standard Gligar set, and on a side note, I only ever use Stealth Rock if my opponents team are especially weak to rocks or if they run Yanmega.
Electivire @ Expert Belt
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SAtk
Lonely Nature
- Earthquake
- Wild Charge
- Ice Punch
- Volt Switch
Electivire is my Physical sweeper. Nothing much can be said about it. It's an average set, almost everyone running Electivire uses this set. I had an Ambipom in Electivire's place before I changed, but I felt like Ambipom wasn't pulling it's weight in battle. Also good for coverage as I lacked a good stop to water types (Electivire joined before Amoongus)
Delphox @ Power Herb
Ability: Magician
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Solar Beam
- Fire Blast
- Psyshock
- Switcheroo
Magician Delphox with Power Herb is a force to be reckoned with. Abomasnow is fairly common in RU from my experience, so I am able to fake the Fire Blast/Flamethrower and go for a Solar Beam on the switch into a water or a rock type to steal their item after the usage of Powe Herb. Psyshock is to take care of special walls and Switcheroo gets rid of any unwanted items that I steal.
Escavalier @ Assault Vest
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Megahorn
- Drill Run
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
Escavalier w/ Assault Vest is really powerful. Nothing much can be said about it except for the fact that it's powerful but slow. I could see this thing benefit from Trick Room. It's on my team because it's powerful and has good type coverage.
So, that's the team, tell me what you think of it and if you can suggest any improvements that can be made, I could make the changes necessary to make this team better than it is now.
I did mention Earlier in the post that I made some changes beforehand, so here they are.
In place of Amoongus, I had:
Registeel @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- Thunder Wave
- Seismic Toss
In place of Gligar, I had:
Claydol @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 HP / 252 SDef
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Rapid Spin
- Magic Coat
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball
And in place of Electivire, I had:
Ambipom @ Assault Vest
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Double Hit
- Knock Off
- U-turn
