dpmba248.png

Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/42 Def/216 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Fire Punch
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
---
Lead of my team and sets up the sandstorm. Ev'd to be able to take a few its before oging down and with Choice band can also deal back hits as well.

dpmba145.png

Zapdos @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/34 Def/36 Spd/188 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Roost
- Thunderbolt
- Heat Wave
- Thunder Wave
---
Special sweeper and supporter. The electric bird is an amazingly reliable pokemon being able to hurt two of the biggest threats in pokemon (Gyarodos and Scizor) as well as heal himself with roost.

dpmba134.png

Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/6 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Haze/Protect ?
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Wish
---
Wish Support as well as my Dragon killer. I'm thinknig of switchin Haze for Protect though cause it makes wishing alot easier. he also protects my Infernape and Flygon from Water and ice moves repectivily.

dpmba392.png

Infernape (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 64 Atk/192 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Flamethrower
- Close Combat
- Grass Knot
---
Hands down my favorite pokemon Infernape can do almost anything. Set him to a special based sweeper cause I find nasty plot a wasted space seeing as he usally never can use it.

dpmba330.png

Flygon (M) @ Muscle Band
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Fire Punch
- Outrage
- Earthquake
---
The new Garchomp seeing as he is Uber now Flygon finally gets his shot in OU. set makes for a good sweeper just need to watch out for Ice moves.

dpmba437.png

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 22 HP/152 Atk/96 Def/8 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Hypnosis
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Explosion
---
To be honest not a big fan of Bronzong but he does his job well. The tank of my team and can also put pokemon to sleep. if in trouble I explode

What I want
1 To find a spot for a Scizor
2 To find a pokemon to replace Bronzong

to that my team what suggestions do you all recommend

You're practically asking for mods to come. (:

But anyways, you're weak to water and it would be a good idea to have a spinner, like donphan (that would add another water weakness)

Wouldn't you want more ground/steel/rock pokes? Only half your team isn't weak to SS.

Vaporeon is useless against Salamence who can OHKO. Swampert and Suicune are much better at killing dragons.Give Zapdos leftovers and hope for the best.

Well since this thread hasn't been closed down, might as well rate it. Comments in Red. For my comments, SpD = Special Defense, Spe = Speed. Some people get confused over that, so I wanted to make it clear.

All CB T-Tars need attack. Whether it's like a few EVs to max EVs. 176 HP / 252 Atk / 80 Spe That's the best EV spread to use for CB T-Tar. Also, why do you have so many SpD EVs, SS already makes your SpD higher. Might as well add them to your Def. I'd recommend CB Rhyperior. He can take hits, and has higher HP, Attack, and Def than T-Tar. Not even Scizor's Bullet Punch can kill it (if you EV Rhyperior correctly):

Rhyperior (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 Atk/4 SpD/252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Aqua Tail
- Megahorn/Fire Punch

You'll get a lot of power, and you can support your team with an extra immunity to Electric. But if you do decide to keep T-Tar, atleast make him offensive. Another way for you to go is to make Rhyperior SR if you choose to use him over T-Tar:

Rhyperior (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 244 HP/184 Def/80 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock/Roar
- Megahorn/Avalanche

Stealth Rock is perfered here, so you can replace Bronzong with something else. But you can use Roar if you want to keep Zong for SR.

dpmba145.png

Zapdos @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/34 Def/36 Spd/188 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Roost
- Thunderbolt
- Heat Wave
- Thunder Wave

This is a crap set. Life Orb + SS + SR = Death in a few turns. Might as well put him Leftovers, so you're not dealt 16% damage each time you attack (Life Orb + SS). And, if you don't, make his EVs like this: 252 HP/220 SpD/36 Spe. You'll be able to absorb SpAs better. If you really want him to counter Gyarados and Scizor, I suggest going Defensive: 252 HP/220 Def/36 Spe, with Bold. This will give you maximum defensive ability against Gyarados and Scizor.

dpmba134.png

Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/6 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Haze/Protect ?
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Wish

Protect is a definite over Haze. PHazers aren't the best IMO. Roar/Whirlwinds are better. But if you do decide on Haze, then it'll be worth it against a Baton Pass team. I do recommend you switch this to SpD. You have higher SpD then Def, so you can take hits better on the Special side than the Physical side.

dpmba392.png

Infernape (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 64 Atk/192 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Flamethrower
- Close Combat
- Grass Knot

Not much to say, except you'll be taking a lot of damage from SS + SR. But, Expert Belt isn't going to help a lot anyways. Life Orb is your best bet here, since you won't be hitting too many Pokes for Super Effective, and Life Orb can rack up a few KOs where as Expert Belt can only do 2HKOs. A very big difference if you plan on using Infernape late game. Although, Life Orb + SS + SR racks up, you'll still be able to take down opponents who can damage the rest of your team. That's why I recommend you replace T-Tar.

dpmba330.png

Flygon (M) @ Muscle Band
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Fire Punch
- Outrage
- Earthquake

This is one of the few Pokemon on your team that doesn't get affected by SS. I highly recommend you use Choice Scarf or Choice Band here. Muscle Band isn't worth the switch in or even the damage you cause. CB will help against more defensive Pokemon, while CScarf will help to revenge kill Salamence. If you do pick CScarf, then you can replace Fire Punch with Fire Blast or Stone Edge, depending on preference, and you can replace your current nature with Jolly to outspeed DDMence after 1 DD and non speed boosting nature. With CB, you have the same options to replace Fire Punch, if you choose, and you can pick your nature of Lonely, Naughty or Adamant. If you pick CB, then this is the best EV spread: 252 Atk/80 SpA/176 Spe. For CScarf, 80 HP/252 Atk/176 Spe would be the better EV Spread.

dpmba437.png

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 22 HP/152 Atk/96 Def/8 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Hypnosis
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Explosion
---
SR. One of the bulkiest users of SR. I would recommend that you go even more bulkier 252 HP/86 Atk/80 Def/92 SpD. This helps with your bulkiness to take hits, and you can still Explode with those few attack EVs.

If you go with SR Rhyperior (the 2nd set) then you should probably replace this with a dual screener, or something like a Rotom form to aid Zapdos in spreading statuses.

You said you wanted a place to put Scizor. This would be the perfect place. You really don't like Zong, and you can always SR with Rhyperior, if you choose to, so this would be the perfect place. If you need help finding a good Scizor set, just post back.

You seem like you're new to Shoddy, and just Platinum in general. But,
good luck in the game. This team looks like a Pre-Platinum Team, because current threats can wipe this team out. Hope you accept a few changes, and I hope to help you with future RMTs.

This thread is now locked under RMT rule #3:

Rule #3 said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you're having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.
