Rate my Shoddy team

I've been using this team in Shoddy with great results, but it has a few flaws, and I wish to improve on it.

Deoxys-E @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 108 Atk/148 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Superpower
- Psycho Boost
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam

Standard Choice Specs Deoxys-E. I find Deoxys-E to be a great lead, OHKOing many common pokemon with Specs-boosted Psycho Boost.
148 Speed reaches 479 speed, outrunning Modest ScarfGar and all Scarfers with 95 base speed or less.
Superpower is there for Special Walls (Snorlax, Blissey), but without a boost from Attack EVs and/or Life Orb, it barely manages a 2-3HKO on Blissey. I may replace it with another move.

Heatran (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 244 HP/136 SAtk/128 SDef
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Lava Plume
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Roar

Stealth Rock. Stealth Rock gets in Rocks and scouts out for pokemon which counter my special sweepers (Opposing Heatran, Special Walls).
Roar is unexpected on Heatran, and gives it the opportunity to Roar away Ninjask and other stat-uppers.
I think I may need a better EV spread, stole it from the analysis but added the Speed EVs into Special Defence.

Breloom (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 44 HP/252 Atk/212 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Focus Punch
- Spore
- Substitute
- Seed Bomb

Standard Breloom. Spore can incapacitate many teams, and Breloom serves as a decent Bulky Water counter. Breloom is almost useless with Sleep Clause in play though, but a Spore on a non-sleep absorber is advantageous.

---

dpmfa143.png

Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Immunity
EVs: 244 HP/28 Def/236 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Body Slam
- Crunch

My special wall and status absorber. Rest/Sleep Talk Snorlax counters many special sweepers and can disable switch-ins with Body Slam.
Immunity over Thick Fat because I have two decent Fire/Ice resists (Heatran and Slowbro), and I feel that Toxic immunity is better than taking less damage from Fire/Ice attacks that Snorlax already takes little from.

---

dpmfa373.png

Salamence (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Pulse
- Flamethrower
- Hydro Pump

Standard SpecsMence. I don't have to elaborate on the power of SpecsMence Draco Meteor, nor do I have to expand on the fact that it gets 100% walled by a special wall. Can lure out Blisseys, and tear through many teams without a special wall.
IMO, Blissey is no longer a safe switch into Salamence because of the popularity of the Mix and DD versions of Salamence.

Slowbro (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 212 HP/252 Def/44 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Surf
- Slack Off
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Electric]

Physical Wall Slowbro, no Calm Mind because I feel that having Surf/HP Electric is better for countering physical threats.

---

Possible improvements that I have thought of:
  • Running 20 Atk/236 Spd/252 SAtk for Deoxys-E to reach 500 speed, outrunning Jolly ScarfChomp
  • Cresselia > Slowbro, but I do not like the fact that Moonlight gets hampered by Sandstorm and that Cresselia does not have as much offence as Slowbro. RestTalk versions get classic Moveset Syndrome.
  • MixMence/DDMence > SpecsMence, because Blissey poses a problem.
I'm not going to make a full threat list, just the things that pose a problem for me.

dpicon248.png
Tyranitar
  • I have no counters to the Boah and CB versions of Tyranitar
  • My only real counter to conventional Tyranitar is Breloom, resisting almost all of its movepool and outspeeding it. Breloom is a very shaky Tyranitar counter, and can't do much to it with Sleep Clause.
dpicon445.png
Garchomp
  • Again, I have no real counter to CBChomp and to a lesser extent ChainChomp
  • Slowbro is my only real counter, but Deoxys-E can come in and revenge kill.
dpicon448.png
Lucario
  • Swords Dance Lucario rapes my team with Crunch doing ~80% on Slowbro
dpicon461.png
Weavile
  • It hits super-effective on 5/6ths of my team, Slowbro can't handle CB ones
  • Deoxys-E can be easily predicted and walled (Superpower)
dpicon051.png
Dugtrio
  • It can trap and kill Heatran and Breloom, and Deoxys-E gets revenge-killed by Sucker Punch.
Rate my team and help me make improvements to it.

Gliscor covers 5/6 of your threats, I'd put that over Slorbro. Foretress or Skarmory can beat all of these Pokemon, except for Lucario and Heracross.

Choice Specs on Deoxys-E is really not that great. Neither is Psycho Boost. A 140 BP attack may seem nice, but when you think about it, Deoxys-E is one of, if not THE single best lategame sweeper in OU right now. Psycho Boost immediatly halfs the decent 90 base SpA, meaning your sweeping capabilitys are gone. Life Orb will give you the power boost that Deoxys-E needs, as well as the freedom to switch attacks. Ditch Psycho Boost for either Grass Knot, Shadow Ball or Psychic.

As much as I like Breloom, the little bugger is becoming just more and more dead weight these days, as it is practically usless late game. Almost everything outspeeds it, which doesn't help any. Changing Breloom to Yanmega will have your opponents pulling their hair out, considering you're also running Deoxys-E. These two in conjuction are very deadly.

However, if you change Breloom to Yanmega, your team is almost entirly based on special attacks. To fix this, change Specsmence to a bulky Salamence. This will also help to fix your SD Lucario weakness. Bulkymence is actually a very good switchin to almost any Lucario. Dragon Dance / Dragon Claw / Earthquake / Roost.

Adding Skarmory or Gliscor over Slowbro will help with your current problems, but open up a Gyarados weakness, so it's up to you what you do with the last slot. Although another alternative would be to add a Reflect Celebi. Normally, Celebi has a really tough time against Tyranitar and Weavile, but with Reflect, Celebi can beat them. Grass Knot can 3HKO each.

Yeah just use life orb on deocys but if you decide not to then use maybe Focus Blast instead.

Consider RestTalk on Heatran over SR

I like yanmega idea and I suggest that you try it out since it does seem to help.
