This is my first attempt at a sun team. There are a few sets that kinda hold this team back so here is what my team Looks like.

The Gang! (Team Members)
God Himself. (Torkoal) @ Heat Rock
Ability: Drought
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 216 Def / 36 Spe
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Eruption
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
Torkoal is the star of show here and the team's sun setter. With the Heat Rock item, Sunny Day lasts 8 turns instead of 5, giving our next team member more sweeping possibilities. Stealth Rock for the hazard setup, Earthquake to deal with the pesky Electric-types. Rapid Spin to remove hazards on the field.
Chlorophyllist (Venusaur) @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Growth
- Giga Drain
- Weather Ball
- Sludge Bomb
Venusaur is the team's main sweeper and wallbreaker. With Growth, Venusaur becomes a force to be reckoned with; Giga Drain is the Primary Grass STAB move that keeps Venusaur up and running on the team. Weather Ball is to deal with all the Steel-types including Gholdengo, Scizor and Corviknight, and the Grass types like Sinistcha. Sludge Bomb is the Poison STAB that helps with all the dragons (Dragonite, particularly).
I hate Living (Hatterene) (F) @ Eject Button
Ability: Magic Bounce
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 124 Def / 132 Spe
Bold Nature
- Healing Wish
- Psychic Noise
- Dazzling Gleam
- Nuzzle
Hatterene is a great support pick for this team because of Healing Wish + Magic Bounce. Healing Wish is a great move because it enables support for the teammates and gives them another chance to keep working. Nuzzle is the paralyzing option for anything besides ground-types and electric-types. Psychic Noise lets Hatterene chip bulky foes like Gliscor, and Dazzling Gleam is the primary Fairy STAB option.
Intimidation (Kingambit) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Kowtow Cleave
- Iron Head
Kingambit is an AMAZING late-game sweeper and one of the deadliest offensive threats in OU. Air Balloon is the ground immunity for Landorus-T and Great Tusk, whlist becoming a Kyurem switch-in. Sucker Punch is the fix for it's low speed to check the faster pokemon in the tier. Iron Head arguably deals with the fairies that come around, while Kowtow Cleave helps check walls like Corviknight, Alomomola and Dondozo.
Stranger at Night (Walking Wake) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 12 HP / 244 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Steam
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- Dragon Pulse
Walking Wake is another great sun sweeper and wallbreaker when combined with Protosynthesis + Choice Specs. Hydro Steam and Draco Meteor are great moves capable and OHKOing any pokemon resistant to water and 2HK0ing almost all the threats in the metagame including Fairy-types (Clefable, Primarina). Flamethrower is to help check the grass-types like Meowscarada and Sinistcha, while it can also check Weavile. Dragon Pulse is here for the more consistent option so I putted it on there.
Creepy Ass (Dragapult) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Hex
- Flamethrower
- Thunderbolt
Specs Dragapult Is a great fit on this team because of the excellent speed tier and it's ability (Infiltrator). Infiltrator helps bypass substitutes and reflects/light screens, while giving Dragapult extra power with it's solid special attack. Draco Meteor is a deadly move even with the Ghost Tera (which powers up Hex), as it almost OHKOs every pokemon in the tier when combined with it's great speed stat. Flamethrower helps check Kingambit and Gholdengo. I had no coverage for Flying-types so I decided to slot Thunderbolt.
Team Killers (Threats)
These are the 3 big threats that definitely kill this team quite a little. Raging Bolt is the primary electric-type threat due to it's powerful STAB options and great typing. Landorus-T is a Ground/Flying type with powerful pivot options and great base 145 Attack stat for STAB earthquakes. Great Tusk is a Ground/Fighting type with decent offensive capabilities with STAB Headlong Rushes along having a Great Attack and Defense stat.
If anyone would like to bring in some advice, let me know. I will always check it!
