Rate my Team 2.0

Hey this is my second RMT using members of the old team I was using but added new ones to create a bulky team that is very dangerous and if the opponent isn't careful about switching out they can pay the price.

Donphan@Leftovers
Nature:Adamant
Ability:Sturdy
EVS:252HP/252Atk/4Def

Moveset
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Ice Shard
-Rapid Spin

This donphan is my lead, I have tried many other leads like infernape, dual screeners and a lot of other stealth rock users but I think donphan is the best choice for my team. He can give out huge hits being Adamant and Life Orbed, many people underestimate the damage his earthquake will do and it 2HKO most ferrothorn's.

Stealth rock is used against non-taunt users, rapid spin is there for spinning away enemy rocks and making them not even want to attempt to have them set up. Ice shard is a very nice priority move that can benefit this team a lot, and can also land donhpan some very nice kills being Adamant and Life Orbed. Earthquake is there to give huge hits to anything that doesn't resist it.

Sturdy is a built in focus sash and always lets donphan do one thing he wants, life orb is there and not lum berry because I am not to worried about donphan being statused and I love the sxtra power.

Pros:
+Very bulky on physical side
+Able to do very good damage with STAB earthquake
+Steal Rock User
+Rapid spin support
+Priority User
+Electric Immunity

Cons:
-Very Weak on the Special Side
-Weak to Axelf/Uxie leads
-Not the best move coverage
-Low Speed

Conkeldurr@Leftovers
Nature:Adamant
Ability:Guts
EVS:80HP/80Atk/100Def/240SpD

Moveset
-Drain Punch
-Mach Punch
-Bulk Up
-Payback

Conkeldurr is one of my main sweepers and also revenge killer, he is a very versatile pokemon who is doing different things depending on the opponents team. If Conkeldurr can get even two Bulk Up's off he can sweep an opponent's team and even after one he can be a serious problem for an opponent. Standard moveset and Guts is there because many people are running iron fist over guts so people end up WOWing my Conkeldurr giving him a free attack boost. Guts can also absorb status aimed at other member's of my team.

Pros:
+Able to take special hits
+Has bulk up
+Physical Sweeper
+Good Coverage
+Bug and Dark Resistance
+Status Absorber
+Priority User

Cons:
-Physical side sometimes lacking before a Bulk Up
-Flying weakness
-Very standard set, most of the time predictable
-Low Speed

Salamence@Life Orb
Nature:Naive
Ability:Moxie
EVS:252SpA/252Spe/4Def

Moveset
-Draco Meteor
-Dragon Claw
-Flamethrower
-Earthquake

Salamence, my mixed sweeper who late to mid game can really sweep an entire team and take them by supprise. This salamence is meant to come in on a weakened foe and use the appropriate move to kill them, after a moxie boost salamence turns into a very deadly sweeper and if the opponent has nothing to outspeed him, they will lose. I like this set because often after a draco meteor the opponent sends in a special wall and is hit with a +1 Dragon claw.

Salamence is very crucial to this team being one of the few people to have hard hitting special attacks on the team. Life orb is there because it gets some needed 1HKO's on pokemon when he has no boost or is using his special side.

Pros:
+Special Attacks available
+Mixed Sweeper
+Excellent coverage for the team
+Very unpredictable
+Very valuable mid to late game.

Cons:
-Stealth Rocks weakness (If donphan has not spun)
-100 Base speed is the vein of this Salamence's existance.
-Draco Metero takes away from flamethrower's power making scizor a problem

Scizor@Choice Band
Nature:Adamant
Ability:Technician
EVS:252ATK/252HP/4Spe

Moveset
-U Turn
-Bullet Punch
-Superpower
-Pursuit

Scizor is probably the pokemon that this team was missing, the previous members, alakazam, scrafty, and a couple other are unable to do like scizor is. Choice Band scizor is used instead of swords dance or bulky sets because one of the primary uses for this scizor is to counter the following pokemon Latios,Latias, and Reuniclus, and if you look at my team, those pokemon are very threatening to it. Scizor can often swing the momentum of the game in my favor and people now a day are expecting bulky sets with roost, I am a fan of the insanely power adamant and choice band gives scizor. I am not to sure about the EV spread but I am sure I want max attack because scizor can catch a lot of people off guard and inflict main damage.

Scizor's one weakness fire is covered by slowbro and salamence, superpower is used to hit blissey/chansey and also hit any magnezone's or trappers that want to come, I use it instead of brick break because the sheer power it gets is unmatched and choice banded scizor is switching a lot anyway, that is why I have donphan spin away hazards. I like U turn over bug bite for the purpose of scouting and having switch advantage available, which is very nice to have for a slow team.

Porygon2@Evolite
Nature:Bold
Ability:Analytic
EVS:252HP/52Def/200SpD/4SpA

Moveset
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Recover
-Thunder Wave

This porygon is truly the bread and butter to the team, his one fighting weakness is covered insanely well by the next member of the team. Specially defensive porygon2 works better for this team because it already has a dedicated physical wall. Ice Beam is there to deal with gliscor and dragons, thunderbolt is there because it is a good coverage move and no one else on the team has access to an electric move.

Thunder Wave is also very, very helpful to this team as most of it's member's have a low speed. Paralysis is NOT needed, but if porygon can paralyze one or two things on the opponent's team it help's mine a lot.

Trace is not used because I have not really been in a situation where trace would have made an insane difference to the outcome of the game, sure you can get an intimdate or water absorb, but you can also get a useless ability. I prefer Analytic because it gives porygon2 the ability to hit certain pokemon a lot harder then they expect because he does have a 105 base SpA stat and I like to abuse that.

Pros:
+Insanely good special bulk
+Good physical Bulk
+Access to BoltBeam
+Can paralyze things
+Access to recover
+Good attack power for a tank

Cons:
-Being tricked
-Set up bait for some pokemon
-No leftovers recovery
-Low speed

Slowbro@Leftovers
Nature:Bold
Ability:Regenerator
EVS:252HP/252Def/4SpD

Moveset
-Psychic
-Ice Beam
-Slack Off
-Toxic

Ah slowbro he is my dedicated physical wall who can counter every single fighting pokemon in the game and their mom. Slowbro has a very good staying power in the game, with slack off, leftovers and regnerator slowbro is not dying to anything easily. Psychic is there to deal with the fighting types, Ice beam is used over scald because slowbro being my physical wall gets to deal with all the dragons of the metagame, also is a nice supprise for gliscors wanting me to fling a toxic orb my way.

The only fighting pokemon who can even do anything to Slowbro is terrakion and almost every terrakion is choice scarfed and use X-scissor on slowbro. Remember when I mentioned Conkeldurr's bug weakness as a pro, this is why. Toxic is there because many people want to switch in on slowbro and getting a free toxic is just nice, also good to get off on bulky waters.

Pros:
+Excellent Physical Wall
+Can hit decently with Psychic and Ice beam
+Very good survivability
+Covers porygon fighting weakness

Cons:
-Specially defensive he is lacking
-Grass and electric weakness, not loved by my team

Here are a couple weakness's I can easily identify in the team, if you see any other's please point them out.

-Electric weakness, if donphan isn't around Conkeldurr or Scrafty are taking the electric hits.
-Grass Weakness, not many grass types in the metagame but If i encounter one my team does not enjoy it.
-Breloom, if they are carrying stone edge they are very annoying to this team.
-Rotom-W are one of the most annoying things to this team, especially trick variants.
-No one really liked being hit with flying but porygon and slowbro can both put the hurt on flying types.
-The highest base speed is salamence at 100, has not been a problem so far, but some times it is annoying.
-Skarmory is very annoying to play against, my team does not have the best options against one.
-Choice Band scizors are actually very annoying to this team, Conkeldurr can handle the roost/swords dance ones fairly easy though.

Well this is my team I hope you had time to read the entire thing because it took me a very long time to write and this team has been edited and worked on a lot. I notice a couple problems with my team if anyone wants to suggest a new pokemon/moveset/EV spread I am open to anything. I hope this set up was enjoyable for you to read and easy for you to read.

Changes-
Added leftovers over life orb on Donphan
Replaced Scrafty with Scizor
Changed Weaknesses of team

The main problem I see with your team is Conkeldurr + Scrafty. They both are incredibly similar: tankish status absorbing Fighting types with Bulk Up, Drain Punch and a Dark-type move. For the sake of better coverage offensively and defensively I would suggest a change. Take out Conkeldurr, and give Scrafty Ice Punch or Dragon Tail (you already have STAB Rock with Donphan). Rotom-H would fit very well, providing resistance to Flying and Grass. Most importantly, he is an excellent Scizor counter, especially if you run Will-O-Wisp.

You should definitely switch Donphan's Life Orb for Leftovers. Firstly, it totally ruins Sturdy. Secondly, who wants to take LO damage when they Rapid Spin? Thirdly, Donphan's role should be more tankish, not merely setup and offense.

Don't rely on Salamence as your sweeper. I love using mixed Salamence, but he's always been more of a hit-and-run type (with Rapid Spin or Wish support, which you have with Donphan). Sure, he might be dangerous with Moxie, but you'll be limited on your opportunities as you might have difficulty getting the first KO to snowball if you're playing a smart opponent. As you pointed out, he's relatively easily outsped. Fortunately, good old-fashioned Dragon Dance can solve it. It's worked for two generations, and it still works in this one.

Yeah I agree with putting leftovers on Donphan I will do that. I am not very sure about taking conkeldurr out because his STAB mach punches are good for revenge killing on a slow team and I think if I take him out I will be weak to excadrill.

What would be a salamence dragon dance set for this metagame you think?

True true, but you can always just request no unreleased Dream World abilities. I'm hoping he gets banned before he's released in the Dream World.

Its not all that common, but I believe the best is

Naive
252 Attack 252 Speed 6 Special Attack
Dragon Dance
Outrage/Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Fire Blast

I guess Moxie would be the better special ability if you go with Dragon Claw.

I am a fan of that salamence but could someonething like this do better maybe being all physical.

Salamence@Life Orb
Adamant/Jolly
252ATK/252spe/4Def
Dragon Dance
Outrage/Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Fire Fang

I would want to be able to outpseed scarfed garchomp after two Dances, put his ability as intimidate so he can set up a couple dances and ruin a team?
