Rate my team =D

Well heres my team , open to all criticisms also this is not order their always in

Azumarill (M) @ Shell Bell Trait: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Def / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Hardy Nature
- Ice Beam
- Hydro Pump
- Superpower
- Aqua Jet
Hes my overall wall , and does his job well can switch in to almost every attack that would otherwise take out one of them. He can take care or at least force a switch with most dragons unless of course they have thunderbolt....

Houndoom (M) @ Fire Gem
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 255 SAtk / 255 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Dark Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Nasty Plot
- Substitute
Hes my special sweeper and does great at it, after one or two nasty plots he can take out an entire team. Dark Pulse is a great stab that can take out threats such as Espeon, Latios and Fire blast after one or two nasty plots has taken out blisseys and snorlaxs

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 255 Atk / 255 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch
My physical sweeper, i usually save him as a Oh Sh** button. However he is almost always out sped by everyother dragon, and when encountering a heatran with air baloon hes pretty much screwed

Zoroark (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Illusion
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Dark Pulse
- Flamethrower
- Focus Blast
- Extrasensory
Though he may seem gimmicky i am shocked almost every battle how well illusion works for him. Especially good when disguised as Breloom because of his resistances to physic and then the all mighty flamethrower from a breloom is just fun to watch

Ursaring (M) @ Flame Orb
Trait: Guts
EVs: 28 HP / 255 Atk / 48 Def / 176 Spd
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Hammer Arm
- Facade
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
Another physical sweeper, after a burn and a swords dance his attack gets to about 1300 which is fantastic and unexpected to my opponents can OHKO most after being burned with a Stab Facade

Breloom (M) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 4 SAtk / 132 SDef / 116 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Spore
- Drain Punch
- Seed Bomb
- Substitute
Standard Breloom with slight alterations he does his job as just being annoying as possible. Sleep , sub , drain an so forth

I have had pretty good succses with this team, and i like the fact that the majority of them are uncommon iam open to changes, but some teams do give me trouble, especially Sandstorm, and Sunny day
Thanks in Advance

edit: i moved it to the right subforum since it was in the wrong place. read the rules at the top and look at other teams to see how the descriptions should look.

I am no expert and usually leave the commenting to those that are, but...

as someone who tried to use that Ursaring (in UU no less, not even OU), I can tell you it's not good at all.

It simply can't take a hit, and without Quick feet, it isn't going to outspeed anything. With a negative Sp Def nature, and you're trying to Swords Dance as well? That's a dead pokemon, my friend, before it can blink.

Houndoom has somewhat of the same issues. In OU he won't survive any attack, especially with a weakness to ground, fighting moves.

Also, EVs are divisible by 4, so having 255 attack and 255 speed isn't doing anything. 252 is the maximum boost, and the remain "6" (really 4) should be used to get a slight edge on another stat.

For Azumarill, a Hardy nature doesn't boost anything, so it shouldn't be used competitively. The decision to go mixed isn't helping it. Most people use choice band Azumarill, from my experience.

For Dragonite, multiscale is the only way to go. It's a pokemon unfit for OU without it.

Two pieces of advice:

1. If you find a replacement for Dragonite and Breloom, you could have the core of a UU team that could function okay with some tweaks.

2. This team is frail, and not offensive enough to make up for it, which is worsened by poor speed. Find room for a wall on this team, because you'll find that Azumarill won't do the job very well.

Change Azumarill's nature to Adamant, and utilize either Life Orb/Leftover/Choice Band. Choice band to boost its damage, of Life Orb to sacrifice health for damage and versatility, or Leftover to longevity over damage. Azumarill will get torn by Thundurus. Also change its EV to 252 Atk / 212 HP / 44 Speed

Houndoom should utilize Leftover since it has substitute + Nasty Plot. He's weak to priority Mach Punch, and Speedy Thundurus w/ Nasty Plot. Change your EV to 252 SpAtk / 252 Speed / 4 Hp

Dragonite Trait should be Multiscale to keep it alive, and EV to 252 ATK / 252 Def / 4 HP. Also I would recommend Roost over Earthquake, it'll keep Dragonite alive for a long time. Sadly, if you haven't setup yet, Thundurus w/ Nasty Plot again will annihilate this guy.

For Zoroark, I don't get why you have Focus Sash. He'd do great as a Choice Spec to revenge kill. Life Orb would help him alot too since hes fast and frail. This guy will also fall to Thundurus due to frailty.

Ursaring will get annihilate in such a fast and powerful metagame. He doesn't have the speed to do well in OU, I recommend switching this guy to something else.

Breloom works fine, but those EV's are all over the place. 252 Atk / 244 Speed / 12 Hp is better. Also swap drain punch for focus punch, you won't need to heal if you hit like a beast, plus you'll end up healing from toxic orb + poison heal.

Ursaring? Wouldnt stand in OU. As nld230 said, your team is as frail as a grandma besides azumarill. Metagross, who is very common, can easily agility and sweep 5/6 of your pokemon with super effective moves. Dragonite should run multiscale. And last change dark pulse for night daze, stronger and can lower accuracy. Anyways good luck.

I recommend Rotom-W. But you still have more weaknesses besides that, maybe swapping Zoroark out for another bulky user, Skarmory/Ferrothorn can help/

You should try either Nasty Plot or Sucker Punch instead of Extrasensory on Zoroark. Extrasensory is completely useless when you consider that most of the Fighting-types you're trying to counter with it all have priority, and Zoroark is OHKOed by just about any STAB Mach Punch. If you use Nasty Plot, change its nature to Timid as you will need that speed. If you use Sucker Punch, change its nature to Naive and change its EV spread to 32 Atk/252 SpA/224 Spe. Also, don't use Focus Sash, use Life Orb.

Orbpom123 has no idea what he's talking about on Zoroark, Dark Pulse > Night Daze. Accuracy drops aren't entirely helpful, all they can really do is pressure the opponent into switching out. Using Night Daze over Dark Pulse will not guarantee any KOs on anything, and if you miss, well, tough luck. You can't use this argument for Focus Blast, though, considering just how much stronger Focus Blast is compared to HP Fighting. A Choice Scarf set running Dark Pulse/Focus Blast/Flamethrower/HP Ice is also viable if Thundurus annoys you.

You should also use Multiscale on Dragonite. It's just better than Inner Focus. Replace Earthquake with Roost, Outrage + Fire Punch is already perfect coverage (excluding Heatran). I would replace Outrage with Dragon Claw, but that's just because I dislike that confusion stuff. It's up to you.

I have no idea what Houndoom is doing here. It seems redundant when used on the same team as Zoroark and Zoroark is just better. Get something that's not completely and utterly redundant. You are in dire need of a Steel-type, so try Scizor.

Azumarill sucks. Don't use it. Aqua Jet is great at countering Excadrill, but remember that Aqua Jet triggers the abilities Water Absorb and Storm Drain. Not having a reliable answer to Excadrill is a sin, so I recommend something that can use a Technician-boosted STAB Mach Punch. Hitmontop is a great choice.

Don't use Ursaring. I dunno about you, but just trying to abuse Facade is not the best idea. Also, Gengar is immune to all of your Ursaring's attacks. I would replace it with a lead to set up hazards, specifically Deoxys-S.

Also, this is the HUGE problem I see here: Breloom is in need of Focus Punch. Drain Punch isn't exactly useful when you have Poison Heal healing 1/8th of your health every turn.

TL;DR:
EXTRASENSORY SUCKS
Replace Houndoom with Scizor
Replace Azumarill with Technician Hitmontop
Replace Ursaring with Deoxys-S

Movesets are on Smogon's website.

Your free to use anything you want. Refrain from ubers as you will be trolled as hell. Deoxys D is UU so its technically not "overpowered". But if you dont cheat you cant possibly get it. Dont let that guy say your movesets suck, not everyone wants to abuse the same pokemon. Honestly Gross is much better, better bulk and can easily survive most fire attacks with max hp max special def. He's right that Technician hitmontop is good for a revenge kill mach or countering steels. Again, choose what you desire.

SubPlot Houndour with Lefties or Life Orb with or without Nasty Plot is the only way to use Houndour. Also this metagame is the weather channel so you'll need counters. For a forecast of showers and heavy clouds Gastrodon has become popular. For hot and humid days Balloon Heatrans are pretty effective since it doesn't get trapped and absorb Fire moves. Sand is pretty well covered just add CBand on Azumaril and you wreck Excadrill with priority from Breloom and Azumaril.

Well, also in regards to what other posters have said, if you really wanted to use Ursaring, you need something to hit ghosts. Your current set is walled by Gengar, and to a lesser extent, my favorite ghost: Mismagius.
