Reasoning: I created this team after I thought about how good the buffed knock off would be on Ambipom. Fake out hurts so naturally your opponent will want to switch in a ghost type to take it. Knock off will seriously maim wally ghost types by removing leftovers or straight up 1 shot them. Return is your main stab and low kick if for steel types. I play aggressively and just remove items from everything or save it for fake out on frail pokemon that threaten my team.

Trait: Overcoat
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 SpD
Nature: Bold
~ Knock Off
~ Roost
~ Defog
~ Whirlwind

Reasoning: Mandibuzz is a good physical wall with a good utility move pool. Knock off is amazing this generation, roost is awesome recovery, defog removes hazards from both sides of the field (and since this team has none only their side) and whirlwind can stop potential sweeps.

Reasoning: Mega Venasaur is super bulky and with thick fat removes all but 2 [Flying/Psychic] of its weaknesses. Synthesis and Giga Drain are for recovery since megas lack leftovers as an option, hidden power fire is for steel types that resist giga drain and are immune to sludge bomb, and sludge bomb is your most powerful stab that can leave a nasty toxic gift.

EVs: 88 HP / 248 Atk / 4 Def / 168 Speed
Nature: Jolly
~ Dragon Dance

~ Substitute

Reasoning: Bulky DD Gyrados is a monster and I would say is the star of this team. Once it gets set up nothing stops it. Dragon Dance allows Gyrados to out speed things and crush them. Waterfall/Bounce is a great move combo and is almost impossible to handle. Substitute can give you a free move on a switch in or dodge a status from something slower and then proceed to set up.




Chandelure @ Choice Specs
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Speed
Nature: Modest
~ Shadow Ball
~ Fire Blast
~ Energy Ball
~ Trick

Reasoning: Chandelure is used to weaken everything else. With the nerf to steel types, ghost is an incredible stab and coming off a choice specs modest chandelure, something will feel the pain. Fire blast is another strong stab and energy ball is for water types that resist shadow ball too. Trick can be used to cripple supports.

Reasoning: Agility allows this monster to out speed and crush anything that stands in its way. It gets great coverage with Earthquake/Return and Wild Charge is there to hit Skarmory.
