XY Doubles Rate my Team: Peaked #1 On Oras Doubles

Hello guys! This is my first RMT I've done, and this isn't ORAS, so bear with me. I peaked #1 on Oras Dubz before the ORAS games came out, so I just that should be a small accomplishment.
Note: Most of these are standard sets. If I say 'I run' or 'I like to use' just don't worry about it.

Kangaskhan (F) @ Kangaskhanite
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Power-Up Punch
- Sucker Punch
- Return

A standard, yet efficient set. Fake out is an important move on Kangaskhan, and if it Mega Evolves Power-Up Punch is a free Attacking Swords Dance. Sucker punch is to get rid of weakened foes, and Return is my primary Stab move. Double Edge may be stronger, but I try to not use recoil moves if I don't have to. Adamant is used over Jolly because Kangaskhans don't need too much speed.

Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest

A Chesto Resto(is that a thing?) set of Rotom-Wash. Rotom-Wash is mainly used for crippling physical attackers, such as Terrakion and Kyu-B, and is just a pokemon on my team that I need. I usually like to lead Rotom with Amoonguss so these 2 can spam Status conditions all over opposing pokemon.

Talonflame @ Life Orb
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Tailwind
- Protect

Talonflame is one of my favorite pokemon, and possibly one of the best in any tier it is allowed in. Brave Bird is obvious and same with Flare Blitz. Tailwind is used mainly to help my pokemon when I see that it isn't a Trick room team.

Amoonguss @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Rage Powder
- Spore
- Protect
- Giga Drain

Ah. The key to all my success. Rage powder redirects any move my ally can't take and to take moves like entrainment when people want to sweep with Garchomp+Pyroar. Spore spamming takes place, and my opponents can't do that much if their entire team is asleep(thank gosh no Spore ban/sleep clause). Amoonguss is also my slowest pokemon, therefore gets rid of many pokemon in and before trick room.
rmt-terrakion.png

Terrakion @ Focus Sash
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Rock Slide
- Protect
- Quick Guard

I would've picked Hitmontop over Terrakion, but I just feel like Terrak is a better choice. Close Combat and Rock Slide pick off any pokemon that are stupid enough to stay in, such as Volcarona, Kangs, Heatrans, etc. I do run Protect and Quick guard because I feel like its a good thing to use, so I don't have to protect with one pokemon if someone decides to sucker punch and kill off one of my ally.

Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Protect

Bisharp is basically my secondary sweeper. It's a standard set, yet deadly. I mainly switch in Bisharp if the opposing team has an intimidate mon or if they run sticky web(I don't see it much, but it can still happen.) +2 Sucker punch gets rid of many pokemon, excluding the pokemon that resist it. +2 Knock Off and Iron Head deal crap loads of damage if the pokemon is slower than me, and Protect is obvious.

So there you go! Feel free to hate/love the team if you want, and proof of me hitting #1 on Oras Doubles before(it was a pretty short ladder time, and it was pretty easy to get that high):

Hi there, you've got a nice, solid and fairly standard team. Just some minor changes that should help you out:

1. Run 0 Spe IV's on Amoonguss to let it better check Trick Room, as 31 Spe IV's on Amoonguss make min spe Mons like Gastrodon, Rhyperior, and Ampharos outslow you in Trick Room.

2. Run 84 or 72 SpA on Rotom-W as the former always lets it OHKO 4 / 0 Talonflame with Thunderbolt, and the latter always lets it OHKO 4 / 0 Landorus-T with Hydro Pump.

Thanks for the tips:toast:! But I'm pretty sure Ampharos can't outslow Amoonguss even with no Spe IV's, Ev's, or Quiet.

min speed ampharos is 85, sassy 31 iv amoong is 86...
Huh, well thanks for that! I still wonder what else I could do without replacing any pokes. this is also counts to me as a boost... anyone else have any suggestions?and why does it have fat when I quote someone ._.
