ORAS OU Rate My Team. Peaked #1515

Hi guys, i just made this team and i want to know your opinions, it worked so well for me so let's do this!

Swagsire (Quagsire) @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Toxic
- Earthquake

I started the team with that monster, i liked it from other games and i wanted to try it. The moveset i think it's great, he has scald with a chance to burn, we have toxic to predict some switches form our rival, we have earthquake just to check some pokemons like heatran, excadrill.. and recover to keep this monster alive. Also, Swagsire has Unaware ability which is so great because you can stall a physical set up pokemon like mega-charizard-x or SD Garchomp, ...

Thor (Heatran) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 160 HP / 96 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Lava Plume
- Protect
- Flash Cannon/Earth Power/Taunt/Roar/Toxic

I was thinking for a magic wall, first i thought that ferrothorn would be good with quagsire, they have good sinergy but i decided to go for heatran i like a pokemon more offensive than ferrothorn and he can put the stealth rocks too, he have a chance to burn and.. don't know i just liked so i went for it. The moveset is simple, he have the rocks, lava plume i like this move because that chance to burn and it does a very nice damage, protect to stall and to recover some hp from the leftovers and the last move is variable, you can use what you like, i use flash cannon to check some fairy types but the others are good moves to use.

Xperiment (Tornadus-Therian) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Superpower
- Aerial Ace
- Knock Off
- U-turn

After that 2 walls i decided to go for a flying type, i went for tornadus-Therian because i like it too much. First i put on him a life orb but i wanted to try that banded tornadus and it works pretty well, no one expects a banded attack and he have a really nice speed to u-turn or what we want. We put on him aerial ace because i hate the hurricane's precission and it does a lot of damage too with the choice band. He actually can 1hko Ttar, Heatran, keldeo, ...

Ehem (Clefable) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD
Calm Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Heal Bell

Well, the next pokemon i decided to go for was a bulky clefable, to check dragon types and stall some attacks, we can cure some stats changes with that heal bell, also we can set up with calm mind at some matches and it can be a really big problem for your rival.

xXx (Metagross-Mega) @ Metagrossite
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt
- Rock Polish

The next pokemon i decided to put on my team was metagross, because it's just awesome it can sweep very easily with a rock polish to outspeed all things. We can predict some rival's switches to put on our metagross a x2 speed with rock polish and just sweep. It works very well with this team because we have a flying type to switch in case we expect an earthquake, we have heatran for a fire type attacks also heatran can stall dark/shadow special attacks so it's pretty cool.

latest

DrakoN1 (Latias) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 64 HP / 192 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Defog
- Ice Beam
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor

Well, for the last pokemon i wanted a defoger so, i went for latias, which is a great dragon type pokemon, latias has a nice bulk and also has a very nice special attack, i went for an aggresive special moveset because we dont have any ice attack for landorus, garchomp or something like that and this life orb draco meteor/psyshock does a lot of damage.

And that's it guys thanks for reading & comment, and sorry for my bad english, well at least i tried. XD

Before I say anything, please move the descriptions to the bottom of the Pokemon because thats how its supposed to be, and second of all, expand your explanation (example below). also try to add some replays(optional). I dont really care about bad english :).

Well next i decided to go for a bulky clefable, to check dragon types and stall some attacks. I also use it as my cleric as my team hates status. I also use it as my win con sometimes because CM+MG is really good. Calm Mind is for gettting +1 Sp Atk & Def, which clefable really needs. Moonblast is a strong STAB attack which has a chance to lower Sp Def which is really helpful.Sof Boiled is recovery, and Heal Bell removes the team of status. Clefable is also very helpful for checking strong Dark and Fighting types, which this team has a problem with. All in all, this thing is a great glue for the team and a irreplaceable member.

Like the example above, lengthen the descriptions to about three lines.

ONTO THE RATE:
Seconding Healing Wish/Roost>Ice Beam. Although it is a good move, Roost makes sure it is not worn down so fast and Healing Wish revive a team member. otherwise solid team, you should be able to get higher in the ladder. If you are a bad battler (like me) consult this guide:

Thanks man, it's my first post hehehe i'm a newbie xD

The team looks solid, but I'm not really fond of banded Torn-t I guess I need to test it to find out if its actually even decent.
If you will ever consider trying mixed Torn here's a set:
Tornadus-Therian (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 184 HP / 72 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Hurricane
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Focus Blast/Heat wave

As said above Healing wish or roost > Ice beam I would choose roost, so it will have more longetivity in the battle, also it's your more reliable Keldeo switch in that doesnt get 2hko'd after rocks by Hydro.
You could also run Toxic on the last slot of heatran, maybe catching mons like Garchomp and Rotom-W on the switch in.
Could you also explain the Heatran spread, I think you should rly explain the EV spreads in the description, makes rating a little easier.

I think its supposed to be Timid nature for AV, because there's no reason to sacrifice defense so you can do a little more damage with U-turn and Knock Off. I agree that AV is a better choice, because it's annoying to face, and even with the choice band you won't be hitting hard unless it's super effective.

Since you have Rock Polish on Metagross, you can change your EVs to 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 with an Adamant nature. 176 Speed EVs with an Adamant let Mega Metagross outpace neutral-natured base 100 Speed Pokemon unboosted and outspeed everything up to Adamant Sand Rush Excadrill with Rock Polish. Maximum Attack is needed to deal as much damage as possible and the remaining EVs go into HP for extra bulk.

Metagross @ Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Rock Polish
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt
- Earthquake / Hammer Arm (lets you hit Air Balloon Heatran and Excadrill)
Hope I helped ^_^

Thanks for that, i'll try it, i liked full on speed because i can win a speed tie vs latios/as without the rock polish and some other pokes, i'll try this anyway ;D
