Hello Guys! thanks for looking at my team! :D I have been working for months trying to fix this team to make it as balanced as possible but I always get caught by defensive volcaronas and other strong attackers. This is the first team I have created so feel free to give any feedback :D thanks!

Forretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Volt Switch
- Rapid Spin

Forretress is just an all round good pokemon with the ability to stealth rock and volt switch as well as tank its way through physical hits, I chose Forretress because I didn't think there was a better pokemon for a tank/stealth rocker. I have however, thought of changing his moveset, however, I am not sure whether to change gyro ball with toxic, or keeping it the same.

Jolteon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Signal Beam
- Volt Switch
- Shadow Ball

Jolteon, although with a shallow movepool and little coverage, volt switch allows me to pivot around enemies that might be seen as a threat and switch back to forretress. I believe there are other alternative pokemon that would better fit the job, however, after intensive research, nothing has caught my attention.

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Scald
- Slack Off

Slowbro, a derpy fellow with the ability to tank Outrage hits from D-nite while Calm minding and Slacking off. Built as a duel tank, he is irreplaceable after he gets 2-3 calm minds off.
Only weakness = Thunderbolt or Giga Drain to the face

Volcarona @ Life Orb
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Fiery Dance
- Bug Buzz
- Giga Drain

Volcarona, my All Out Special attacker, with the ability to sweep teams after only one Quiver Dance boost, it's pretty easy to see why Volcarona would fit the bill as a sweeper.

Sableye @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Def / 160 SpD
Calm Nature
- Recover
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt
- Foul Play

Sableye is a pain in the butt to fight against, however, after some gameplay, I still can't decide whether or not to use toxic or WoW, I love the decrease in attack from WoW, but I love stalling strong special attackers. The only issue I see with sableye is if a crit occurs, which it surely will knowing my luck, he is just too weak to take it, but he is a great support, so I'm not sure if I should replace him.

Dragonite @ Choice Band
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Earthquake / Waterfall
- Fire Punch
- Outrage

My one true love, Dragonite.... with a choice band! Just swap in, and pick a move to kill your enemy, along with multiscale to keep yourself from dying. I typically use Dragonite either in the beginning of a match with +1 Outrage or as a late game sweeper with a +1 extremespeed.

Hello, A.J. Garvalena ! This is an interesting looking team here, but I'll get onto the rate.

Overview

For starters, you have some fairly unviable Pokémon compared to others. Also, some moves may be preferred over what you currently have. You have a few noticeable weaknesses that I think I can patch up for you. Be it annoying mons, mons that straight up sweep, etc., they're threats nonetheless.

Some Threats & How to Deal With Them

497.png
- Serperior seems pretty annoying to this team just by looking at it. It finds some decent set up opportunities against your team, such as Jolteon being locked into an electric- type attack, Forretress, Slowbro, Dragonite being locked into Earthquake, and Sableye to name some. Your best answer to this beast is Volcarona, but even with Stealth Rock up and Serperior being at +2 SpA, it has a large chance to OHKO w/ Dragon Pulse. I personally think the best way to remedy this issue is adding Talonflame over Volcarona. All in all this a better addition to your team. It provides a better answer to Special Attackers like Charizard-Mega-Y, the aforementioned Serperior, etc.
Talonflame
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
Careful Nature
- Acrobatics
- Roost
- Bulk Up
- Will-O-Wisp

This set also can help some mons tank physical hits better with its Will-O-Wisp.

- Mega Venusaur can easily annoy this team. Again, Volcarona could deal with it, but I feel as if Talonflame is again, safer to combat it. It can beat Jolteon, Forretress, and Slowbro with relative ease. However, I feel as if the main issue here has already been handled with Talonflame being added.

- Substitute + Dragon Dance Gyarados can be very annoying for this team. In fact, it can just win the game with prior damage on some Pokémon. One way to beat this could be a Substitute + Belly Drum Chesnaught. I suggest Sub BD because it avoids the massive Bounce damage from Mega Gyara. It can also somewhat handle other dark- types better. I would suggest you add this over Dragonite.

Chesnaught @ Salac Berry
Ability: Overgrow / Bulletproof
EVs: 12 HP / 244 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Belly Drum
- Substitute
- Drain Punch
- Seed Bomb

- If Kyurem-Black has Hidden Power Fire, you have no solid GSI (guaranteed safe switch-ins) to this monster, I'd suggest you maybe run a Mega Slowbro over your current normal Slowbro. Mega Slowbro will be 3HKO'd by a Fusion Bolt, as well as Earth Power. However, you can simply Calm Mind up against it and eventually force it out—as it cannot crit you.

Slowbro @ Slowbronite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Slack Off

Moveset Changes

135.png
- I would suggest you run Hidden Power Ice > Signal Beam. Hidden Power Ice is more useful in general, as it nails Garchomp, Landorus-Therian and Gliscor. It also maintains the coverage vs. grass- types.

637.png
- If you decide to keep Volcarona, I would certainly run Fire Blast > Fiery Dance. Fiery Dance is best used on bulkier sets of Volcarona, but the damage difference is pretty noticeable.

149.png
- If you decide to keep Dragonite, Don't run Waterfall. I see you have it has an option, but it's pretty useless coverage, as Outrage essentially hits those mons harder.

Other

Try and fit another ground immune. Dragonite can still function as one, but I just don't see it to be as effective as Chesnaught would be for this team.

{HP Ice > Signal Beam}

{if keeping; Fire Blast > Fiery Dance}

{if keeping; no Waterfall}

Hope I helped, and good luck!
