Heracross@Choice Scarf
Guts
Adamant
6 HP/252 Atk./252 Spe.
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit
- Megahorn

Man oh man how I love this guy. Although this is a very common set, it reaks so much havoc. No matter what comes in, it will be taking alot of damage, and if I bring this thing into a Gengar, he is dead... no matter what. Great revenge killer.

Salamence@Life Orb
Intimidate
Mild
120 Atk./252 SpA./138 Spe.
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Roost
- Brick Break

I love this guy just as much as I love my Heracross. Life Orb plus this EV spread and nature, just gives it all around power. With a stat of 350 SpA., he does alot of damage to anything that comes into him. The only thing that really walls him is a bulky water, although Vaporeon still takes about half from DM without the SpA. drop. Added Roost, because after sand storm, life orb and SR, I am done in a few turns, also crunch really isn't needed.

Bronzong@Leftovers
Heat Proof
Impish
252 HP/86 Atk./100 Def./72 SpD.
-Gyro BAll
-EQ
-Hypnosis
-Stealth Rock

After basically starting over my team(by keeping salamence and heracross, then finding out what their weaknesses were and finding a counter), I came up with this. He resists EVERYTHING that can take down my Salamence and my Heracross. He can then come in and set up stealth rock, or hypnosis. Then start plucking away with Gyro Ball and EQ. The reason for 252 HP is so that he can live 4 seismic tosses after lefties gain.

Vaporeon@Lefties
Water Absorb
Bold
188 HP/252 Def./68 SpD.
- Wish
- Protect
- Surf
- HP Electric

Kept this guy in as a special wall, and as a Gyarados counter. Even with a DD, gyarados can't even 3 HKO me. Protect to scout out moves, and also to guarantee Wish recovery. Surf for STAB.

Starmie@Leftovers
Natural Cure
Timid
160 HP/132 SpA./216 Spe.
-Ice Beam
-Surf
-Rapid Spin
-Recover

Originally I had T-bolt on this guy. But after putting HP Electric on my vaporeon, I took it off of this guy, and put on ice beam for dragons. Rapid Spin to get rid of Spikes and Rocks, etc. and recover to gain some health back after a Rapid Spin... if i get hit.

6th???
I really have no ideas. Maybe a pokemon that can set up, like a swords dancer, or a DDer. Any ideas would help... Thanks.

Please rate my team. It seems pretty good to me now, but any help, movesets, criticism, or any comments would really help. Thank you.

The first thing about Azelf is that lead Azelf just isn't that effective anymore. It's not that effective for your team in general anyway considering it's not a glass canon team where it wants SR up asap - you seem to be taking a more balanced approach meaning that Azelf literally does nothing for you or you can at least put up rocks a lot more efficiently.

The problem with "rating" your team that is that I have no idea what you want to do with it - it doesn't seem to be working towards any specific goal (maybe Lucario sweep?) but even then Lucario and Heracross both get walled by Gliscor - effectively shutting down your main offense unless you somehow manage to lure Gliscor into Mence, which is doubtful anyway considering the popularity of outrage salamence who 2hkos it anyway and the popularity of specsmence nowadays.

Luckily for you Gliscor isn't too popular anymore, but you should probably run Ice Punch over Crunch on Lucario - with a Jolly Nature. The reason I recommend Jolly Nature is that many pokemon including Gliscor, Bulkymence, Mamoswine and friends aim "just" to outspeed adamant Lucario. You lose out on some key OHKOs but you can easily get some residual damage on them over time. You lose coverage on Cresselia with the loss of Crunch but you can always make it up for it by using Heracross.

your team has nothing that can take on Scizor and the new sweeper Zapdos- this means that I really recommend you replace that Dusknoir with Toaster form Rotom - that way you can deal with these threats, still have rapid spin, and have a powerful overheat attack to boot, along with a much better typing and Levitate, it just simply outclasses Dusknoir save Shadow sneak.

Speaking of Shadow Sneak, this means that your team generally has problems with Gengar, especially ones with Trick that can screw over your defensive walls quite easily. I would recommend Choice Scarf Heatran considering Gengar will never really have an incentive to Focus Blast against your team (it's not like you're going to switch in Heatran when Lucario is up against Gengar right? ~_~) so you can always threaten it away, and you can always switch into those nasty Tricks which is very nice. Heatran also holds your team together, gives you a nice switch into that dreaded Sky Form Shaymin. I would replace Azelf with it - and run Stealth Rock on Heatran to boot. It also gives you a fire absorb that can save you when Vappy is in critical condition.

I can rate on and on but at that point I would feel as if I would be changing your team too much. i would recommend you to just play more - you definitely need more experience with the platinum metagame since you don't seem to be aware of most of the changes and the fact that your team is very randomly thrown together gives me this feeling that you should be playing, not building teams. If this team doesnt work quite well for you i recommend you just take someone's team and play with it and try to gain more experience before buliding a team again

For starters, your Vaporeon really wants Bold nature with max Defence. Infernape will do a hefty amount of damage with Close Combat without much Defence, enough to 2HKO at least. Another sad thing is that Gyarados is going to 2HKO after a DD, while you're unable to OHKO even if you were to run HP Electric, which by the way I recommend, considering every Pokémon on your team with the exception being Dusknoir is OHKOd after a DD, and Vaporeon takes a hit way better then Dusknoir. Also, I would rather have Fire Punch on Dusknoir so you actually can deal with a Scizor, as the Will-o-Wisp isn't enough as it will just keep boosting its Attack with Sword Dance.

Oh, and both of your physical sweepers is walled by Gliscor. However, Jolly nature and Ice Punch on Lucario will obviously solve this problem, and to be honest I would rather hit Zapdos, Salamence, and Gliscor better than Cresselia and Dusknoir any day, especially considering your Heracross already deals with them quite nicely.

I don't really see why you run HP EVs on Azelf. :/ Focus Sash already allow you to take atleast one hit, and the HP EVs won't really make any difference in terms of an 2/3HKO. I really think you should just stick with 252 Atk / Spe.

Aww, too late. :x

Pretty much follow Tangerine's advice. However, I would also recommend you drop Crunch in favor of Roost on Salamence. With Sandstorm, Stealth Rocks and Life Orb up and running, you'll last maybe four or five turns out there. Roost greatly enhances Salamence's survivability... and other than really special defensive Cressilia, there's not a whole lot out there to Crunch anyways.

You don't really have a lot of team synergy here. The new Rotom forms really rip you apart. Same with most Zapdos. I don't know how to fix it without starting from scratch.

I'll shut up now because I'm starting to tread into Tangerine territory, and you don't need to hear the same thing twice.

Anymore suggestions? Other than a few moveset suggestions, and the scarfed heatran suggestion, there haven't been that many. Please, anything too help!!
