Rate my Team! (UU)

This is the first time I've ever dealt with an UU team (I've been around the OU metagame for near a year now and wanted a change) and without further ado here are my pokemon!

Swellow@Toxic Orb [Physical Sweeper]
Ability: Guts
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 Hp
- Brave Bird
- Facade
- Quick Attack
- U-Turn/Protect

Brave Bird is for all those fighting types in UU (Hitmonlee, Hitmontop, Primeape Etc...) and also a powerful STAB attack. Facade does amazing damage after poison kicks in and Guts justs boosts it even more. Quick Attack is for a priority move due to all the Scarfers in UU. U-Turn is to get outta there if a counter comes in and to switch to my counter for that, and Protect is to activate the Toxic Orb.

Relicanth@Leftovers [Physical Wall]
Ability: Rock Head
Impish Nature
EVs: 252 Hp, 252 Def, 6 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Head Smash
- Waterfall
- Toxic

Set up Stealth Rock, then use Toxic. Head Smash and Waterfall are for STAB'd attacks. Not much else to say really.

Shiftry@Choice Specs [Special Sweeper]
Ability: Chlorophyll
Modest Nature
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 6 Hp
- Leaf Storm
- Dark Pulse
- Extrasensory
- Hidden Power [Ice]

With sun Shiftry can be quite deadly. Leaf Storm OHKO's nearly anything that isn't resistant to it. Dark Pulse OHKO's or 2HKO's Hypno. Extrasensory is for all those fighting types in UU, and lastly HP [Ice] is filler.

Hypno@Leftovers [Special Wall]
Ability: Insomnia
Calm Nature
EVs: 252 Hp, 200 Sp. Def, 56 Def
- Hypnosis
- Seismic Toss
- Wish
- Reflect

Team helper. Hypnosis to put the opponent to sleep (70 accuraccy = :/). Seismic Toss to do insta 100 damage (damn ghosts -.-). Wish for self and team healing, and Reflect to increase the entire teams defence.

Vileplume@Heat Rock [Weather Changer]
Ability: Chlorophyll
Modest Nature
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 6 Hp
- Sunny Day
- Solarbeam
- Sludge Bomb
- Sleep Powder

Sunny Day to change the weather to Sun which gives Solarbeam insta-attack. Sludge Bomb is for filler and Sleep Powder to put the enemy to sleep letting me get a free switch to Shiftry :D.

Hitmonlee@Choice Scarf [Revenge Killer/Physical Sweeper]
Ability: Limber
Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Spd, 6 Hp
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Blaze Kick

Close Combat + non-resistance = DEAD. The other moves are filler mainly. Earthquake for Toxicroak and Muk. Stone Edge for Swellow. Blaze Kick is for the grass types, and Glaceon and Froslass.

Well that's it. Keep in mind that this is my first ever UU team so don't go too harsh on me :/. C&C aprreciated!

- Quick Attack
- U-Turn/Protect

For Swellow, I'd keep Protect over U-Turn. You'll want it so you set up Toxic Orb whenever you need since with all of the Aerodactyl leads these days, you'll be likely to switch out immediately.

Relicanth@Leftovers [Physical Wall]
Ability: Rock Head
Impish Nature
EVs: 252 Hp, 252 Def, 6 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Head Smash
- Waterfall
- Toxic

Set up Stealth Rock, then use Toxic. Head Smash and Waterfall are for STAB'd attacks. Not much else to say really.

As good as Relicanth's Defense and HP stats are, his typing really leaves him susceptible to being beaten by some common physical attackers, like Primeape who gets a 2x super effective Close Combat on him and Leafeon who gets a 4x super effective Leaf Blade on him (both of them can 2HKO him). I'd suggest you use Weezing instead. He has great typing that allows him to come in on a lot of threats and he has the ability to either cripple them or bring them down with attacks. I would suggest you use this set:

Weezing@Leftovers
Ability:Levitate
Bold Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
- Flamethrower
- Thunderbolt
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

As I stated before Flamethrower and Thunderbolt will take out sweepers who have weaknesses to them and Will-O-Wisp can cripple everything else, including switch ins. JUst be acreful if your opponent has a Ninetales since Flamethrower and Will-O-Wisp will boost the power of it's Fire moves. Pain Split is an obvious choice as it allows you to have a form of Healing.

Shiftry@Life Orb [Special Sweeper]
Ability: Chlorophyll
Modest Nature
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 6 Hp
- SolarBeam
- Dark Pulse
- Sunny Day
- Hidden Power Fire

With sun Shiftry can be quite deadly. Leaf Storm OHKO's nearly anything that isn't resistant to it. Dark Pulse OHKO's or 2HKO's Hypno. Extrasensory is for all those fighting types in UU, and lastly HP [Ice] is filler.

Choice Specs is a very odd choice when you're trying to pair Shiftry up with Sunny Day since choice items cause a lot of switching which can waste away your Sunny Day turns. I'd suggest Putting a Life Orb on him and using the SunnyBeamer set from the analysis instead which I replaced the old set with above. SolarBeam is quite iseful in the sun since it has no charge time and won't reduce your Special Attack like Leaf Storm does. Hidden Power Fire is also a superior choice over Hidden Power Ice when Shiftry has Sunny Day support since it's attack power is boosted by it.
Having Shiftry able to use Sunny Day himself is also very useful because Vileplume may not always be able to provide him with a switch through Sleep Powder if one of your opponent's Pokemon is already asleep.

Hypno@Leftovers [Special Wall]
Ability: Insomnia
Calm Nature
EVs: 252 Hp, 200 Sp. Def, 56 Def
- Hypnosis
- Seismic Toss
- Wish
- Reflect

Team helper. Hypnosis to put the opponent to sleep (70 accuraccy = :/). Seismic Toss to do insta 100 damage (damn ghosts -.-). Wish for self and team healing, and Reflect to increase the entire teams defence.

Hypno is always a great choice for Special Walling UU and this set is fine. Reflect could be invaluable team support for Vileplume and Shiftry setting up Sunny Day.

Vileplume@Heat Rock [Weather Changer]
Ability: Chlorophyll
Modest Nature
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 6 Hp
- Sunny Day
- Solarbeam
- Sludge Bomb
- Sleep Powder

Sunny Day to change the weather to Sun which gives Solarbeam insta-attack. Sludge Bomb is for filler and Sleep Powder to put the enemy to sleep letting me get a free switch to Shiftry :D.

Ability: Limber

EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Spd, 6 Hp
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Blaze Kick

Close Combat + non-resistance = DEAD. The other moves are filler mainly. Earthquake for Toxicroak and Muk. Stone Edge for Swellow. Blaze Kick is for the grass types, and Glaceon and Froslass.

Well that's all the advice I have for now. If you have any questions on any changes I suggested feel free to ask. Anyway, good luck with your UU battles.

Thanks alot! I never knew Weezing was UU (I've been away from the metagame for awhile) when I left Weezing was one of the most overused poke in OU.
