CHANGES MADE IN BOLD BLUE

dpmba065.png

Alakazam (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Trick
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Fire]

My lead! Most leads are physical so i send them a useless Choice Specs, usually making them switch, then beat on whatever comes in. Psychic for STAB, Focus Blast to take care of leads such as Tyranitar, Weavile etc, and Hidden Power [Fire] to help take care of pokemon such as Bronzong, Metagross, etc..
---
dpmba212.png

Lobster (Scizor) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 184 HP/176 Def/150 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Agility
- Swords Dance
- Baton Pass
- Night Slash

Decided on an Agility/Swords Dance passing Scizor.. bascially a beefier Ninjask.. Night Slash is there to better fight against Dusknoir who kinda laughs at my team right now..
---
dpmba475.png

Gallade (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 154 HP/252 Atk/104 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Ice Punch
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Shadow Sneak

The recipient of the baton passing Ninjask. After a few Speed boosts he will be fast and powerful. He's got great coverage. Ice Punch for pesky dragons/grass types, CC for stab and stuff, Stone Edge to take care of Gyarados and other flying pokemon and Shadow Sneak to get in last hits for pokemon that are faster than me and to hit Gengar.
---
dpmba121.png

Death Star (Starmie) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Surf
- Recover

counterstar set over Grass Knot... i just don't know how im gonna deal with Swampert now though... HATE that guy.
---
dpmba110.png

Weezing (M) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Haze
- Pain Split

my phyiscal wall. Sludge Bomb for STAB, hidden power [ice] to take care of grachomp, dragonite etc... haze to get rid of status changes and pain split to give weezing a way to heal.

Phat Bitch (Blissey) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Def/252 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Aromatherapy
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave
- Softboiled

Special Wall. Not much is needed to be said about Blissey. Aromatherapy to get rid of status effects on my pogeymanz, since i can't afford for them to be crippled, Thunder Wave to help cripple oncoming physical attackers that try to counter blissey, and softboiled to heal.

I took quite a bit of time to think this team out, but i know it's not perfect. Some help/suggestions/advice on improving it would be nice. Thanks for your time guys!

ANNNNDDD, incase you've forgotten, here's the team again:

Damn do I love Alakazam I used his tricky ass as my lead for so long, mainly when stall teams ran rampant.

I really really believe Ninjask is just moot an Agility passing Scizor would be more beneficial. Faster set up with a much higher base attack he could actually help your team rather than bp and be death fodder later.

Using Haze on a team that baton passes stats....

Not liking that uber Blissey spread, over doing it I'd say.

Overall I like this team, but consider Scizor over Ninjask because most people would just bring in their Physical Wall on Scizor which will give you time to make a Batton Pass and Gallade will be able to handle it because of its great base attack also everyone expects Ninjask to Batton Pass.

Well, i'm not too sure about Scizor because Ninjask passes on Speed, a substitute if possible and a swords dance if i can get it in... I'm not sure if Scizor would be able to work as well. One other thing i've noticed is that i'm kind of Mixape weak and Electivire weak... is there anything i can do to fix that?

Scizor is better. Face it.

Really don't see how your E-Vire weak unless your horrible at predicting.

I also think Weezing handles Mixape okay, of course assuming your not horrible at predicting.

This team has a serious SubSD Garchomp problem, but all your Pokemon will avoid it from setting up, except for Blissey. I suggest giving Blissey Ice Beam to not let it set up on any of your Pokemon. Starmie NEEDS Recover. For a team like this that relys on Revenge Killing, Starmie is extremely important to take attck from sweepers such as Gyarados and Infernape. Scrap Grass Knot, Swampert isn't really common, and that's the only thing you're hitting.

This team has a serious Deoxys-e problem. At least give Ninjask Protect to be able to hit Deoxys-e once. I really don't like how this team relys completely on Ninjask. Say Ninjask is Taunted, what do you do? I'd probaly replace Ninjask and put a Bronzong there. Then, I'd put a RestTalk Heatran over Weezing to help with Speed Boost Yanmega, something that can hurt your team if you let it set up.

I would much rather use Choice Scarf on Alakazam over Choice Specs... If you're leading with it then many leads tend to be Scarfed (meaning they'll outspeed you and poke you and you'll die), or outspeed it anyway (Jolty and Weavile and Friends) or Gyarados/Bronzong/etc. With Choice Scarf you can KO the other Scarf Leads, or trick Choice Scarf onto ones that dont... I'd also consider HP Ice over HP Fire... Bronzong isn't going to be KO'd by HP Fire and Focus Blast does about the same damage (SE HP Fire = 140, Focus Blast = 120), and with HP Ice you have a better shot at revenging Garchomp and friends.

I would forgo STAB on Weezing and go with Flamethrower instead... and run HP Ice on it so you have some way to stop Garchomp, something your team does not like. I haven't seen Haze used in the longest time mostly because it's only useful against Baton Pass teams... I would honestly replace Haze with HP Ice.

Run Recover on Starmie, with a Timid Nature. or else risk it being eventually worn down and being swept by Gyarados. I would honestly just use the standard counterstar set for your team.

If you do run the counterstar set, then you can choose to run Grass Knot on Alakazam over HP ice since now you have Starmie to revenge kill dragons, and now Swampert isn't so keen on trying to wall your entire team.

Thanks, i like your suggestions, Tangerine.
But, running choice scarf on alakazam then tricking it to the opponent could actually help them more than a choice specs ... and i've never been outsped by any other lead as of yet.
& for Weezing, what am i supposed to take out for Hidden Power? Haze helps alot when Gyarados' or Suicune's try to set up on weezing.
