Rate My Team!

Hey guys! First RMT here so please don't stone me like a Tyranitar >< My team is a balanced team which I try to even out the weaknesses and not repeat a typing more than twice. Feel free to give me your honest opinions! Thank you so much :D Credits to all authors of the photos by the way.

Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Jolly/Mold Breaker
252Atk/252Spd/4Def

Rapid spin
Earthquake
Iron head
Stealth rock

This mon was deemed too good for OU last Gen and has come to make its return. A solid lead pokemon with nice typing, it will be able to help lay down rocks and get rid of any hazards on my side as my team is quite weak to them. Nature and standard EV spread is to outspeed max-speed rotom variants and maim with STAB Earthquake. Iron Head is there to just kill off any fairies and flinch-hax. Barely any defense investment as its main role is to lay down rocks and spin away, so it won't be able to last many hits anyway.

Azumarill @ Sitrus Berry
Adamant/Huge Power (duh)
252Hp/252Atk/4Def

Belly Drum
Aqua Jet
Waterfall
Play Rough

A mon that has been increasingly used since the start of this generation. Simple usage: set up a belly drum on a resisted hit, heal 25% of HP and proceed to aqua jet the enemies away with priority to prevent its low speed from becoming too much of a burden. The other two moves are for situations in which Azu is faster than the opposing pokemon and is super effective in the case of Play Rough. Standard nature and ev spread to maximise damage output while capitalising on its usable bulk.

Rotom-H @ Choice Specs
Timid/Levitate
252SpA/252Spd/4SpD

Overheat
Volt Switch
Hidden Power Ice (Thunderbolt if in-game)
Trick

A new pokemon to the OU environment. Rotom-H is an excellent counter to many pokemon running around, such as Talonflame, (mega) Lucario, Starmie (hit on the switch), mega Pinsir and more. It also adds to the Fire-Water-Grass core in my team. Overheat is a strong STAB move to burn off anything that doesn't resist it, and Volt Switch is for a hit-and-run tactic and to gain offensive momentum. HP Ice is for anything that resists its two STAB moves like Garchomp, Gliscor and Landorus. Trick is very situational, but high reward if used properly. Choice Specs on a wall would spell doom for it but trick should only be used in that circumstance as the extra damage is needed. Timid is to increase its speed and EV spread is standard so not much explanation needed. Rapid spin support from Excadrill highly needed as it is weak to Stealth Rock.

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Modest/Thick Fat
252SpA/252Hp/4SpD

Synthesis
Giga Drain (Energy Ball if in-game)
Leech Seed
Sludge Bomb

This thing is so good I use it to out-stall opponents while having some form of offensive momentum and rounds up my core mentioned earlier. Thick Fat is such a good ability on it as it removes two of its four resistances. Synthesis, Giga Drain and Leech Seed help me to heal off any damage I get while whittling away the opponent's HP, while Sludge Bomb is to kill any annoying fairies. Fairly standard. Modest nature and EV spread is to increase its already good Special Attack while increasing its bulk.

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Jolly/Rough Skin
4Hp/252Atk/252Spd

Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Poison Jab
Fire Fang

A mon that I have been using since Gen 4. Its speed and attack is so good I can just pick off any weakened sweepers with its blistering speed boosted by Choice Scarf. Dragon Claw and Earthquake are for STAB to kill anybody who try to stand in its way. Poison Jab is to kill any fairies who dare try to throw a moon at it while Fire Fang is to kill Skarmory with its high attack. Jolly is to increase its speed even further and speed-tie with opposing scarfed Garchomp with EV spread is standard: maximise attack and speed (its a thing)

Sigilyph @ Flame Orb
Bold/Wonder Skin
252Hp/200Def/56Spd

Cosmic Power
Psycho Shift
Stored Power
Roost

Oh god, this thing is so good, I picked off teams 6-0 before they rage-quitted. This thing should even be banned haha. So Cosmic Power boosts its bulk to sky-high levels, which Stored Power pairs nicely with it. Psycho Shift is to spread burn everywhere to decrease the enemy's attack while Roost heals it nicely for 50%. One thing this mon can't handle is phazers, so other pokemon should help it in that area. Dark types may seem like a concern at first but at max Def and SpD, Burn will whittle the Hp down till there's nothing left.

So there you have it! My newbie team haha. Please give me your honest feedback. Thanks so much! :D
