Hey guys, I'm fairly new to competitive and have made several teams. This is my newest one and I think it's my best so far. Let me know what you think!
Diggersby @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Huge Power
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpAtk)
Moves: Earthquake, Wild Charge, Return, U-Turn
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Diggersby is the lead of this team. He's made to start off the game and scout the opponents opening pokemon. If the match-up is unfavorable, Diggersby can U-Turn out and switch into a pokemon to take a hit. With Diggersby's Choice Scarf, he outspeeds almost everything (Including Timid 252 Spd Greninja).
Breloom @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)
Moves: Mach Punch, Bullet Seed, Rock Tomb, Spore
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Breloom is my second choice for this team, considering his great ability Technician which powers all three of his physical moves. Adding the STAB boost to Mach Punch and Bullet Seed, Breloom becomes a huge threat. Breloom's focus sash also allows him to take a super-effective hit and then put his opponent to sleep.
Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
Nature: Calm (+SpD, -Atk)
Moves: Hyper Voice, Wish, Protect, Heal Bell
EVs: 252 SpD, 252 HP, 4 Def
Sylveon is the special wall of this team. Perfect for switching in and taking any special hit. Wish/Protect combo allows Sylveon to heal itself, as well as heal other teammates (mainly to restore Breloom's sash). Heal Bell cures the entire team of any unwanted status problems, which can be a huge problem for any team. Hyper Voice is an obvious choice, considering Sylveon's high special attack and it's amazing Pixilate ability.
Mandibuzz @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Overcoat
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
Moves: Foul Play, Roost, Toxic, Defog
EVs: 252 HP, 140 Def, 116 Speed
Mandibuzz is the defensive wall of this team. Mandibuzz can easily check common threats such as Talonflame, packing on damage with it's rocky helmet. Roost is for regaining health which allows Mandibuzz to stay in longer. Foul Play is a great move against Physical Attackers, especially against Swords Dancers or DDancers. Toxic is to add on some extra damage and to eliminate threats faster. Defog is to remove annoying hazards.
Chandelure @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
Moves: Fire Blast, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Substitute
EVs: 252 SpAtk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Chandelure is a fantastic special attacker thanks to it's incredible stats. Fire Blast and Shadow Ball are awesome STAB moves (very few pokemon resist ghost in OU, which makes Shadow Ball an even greater move), and Energy Ball is a perfect coverage move. Substitute is great because Chandelure can come in on a pokemon that is forced to switch out, and then setup the sub.
Blastoise @ Blastoisinite
Ability: Torrent ---> Mega Launcher
Nature: Modest (+SpA, -Atk)
Moves: Water Pulse, Ice Beam, Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse
EVs: 252 SpAtk, 252 HP, 4 SpD
Blastoise is the mega of this team. It's Mega Launcher ability powers Water Pulse, Aura Sphere, AND Dark Pulse. Water Pulse is also powered by STAB, and with it's chance of confusion and accuracy, it's the perfect water-type move. Ice is for dragons, Aura Sphere is for handling dark, normal and rock types. Dark Pulse it to take out Ghost-threats like Gengar and other pokemon.
