I've had some success with this team (mostly stall oriented) but am always open to suggestions to make it better. Hopefully I've followed the correct formatting, etc.
Crobat @ Black Sludge
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spd
- Taunt
- Toxic
- Defog
- Brave Bird
Lead Pokemon.
Chose Inner Focus over Infiltrator for Fake Out users, particularly Mega-Lopunny and Mega-Medicham.
Usually Taunt or Toxic to open and can immediately Defog hazards away if necessary.
Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpD
- Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
- Spikes
- Stealth Rock
Hazard Setter.
Usually try to pressure opponent to switch by laying hazards or Leech Seed.
Gyro Ball to take down fast sweepers.
Good synergy with Toxapex.
Umbreon @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Synchronise
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
- Taunt
- Heal Bell
- Foul Play
- Moonlight
Cleric.
Taunt to break down set-up.
Can inflict status with Synchronise then Heal Bell away own status issues.
Foul Play to take down physical sweepers.
Has good synergy with Crobat.
Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
- Scald
- Toxic
- Haze
- Recover
Phaser.
Haze stops Toxapex from being set-up bait.
Usually try to poison with Toxic but Scald and burns stop him being completely passive.
Recover and Regenerator increase longevity.
Tyranitar @ Expert Belt
Ability: Sand Stream
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Fire Blast
- Earthquake
Trapper.
Half my team is weak to Psychic; Pursuit traps and knocks out those threats.
My team relies a lot on poison so Fire Blast is there to deal with Steel types.
EdgeQuake to complete coverage.
Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Thick Fat
Nature: Calm
EVs: 248 HP / Def 88 / SpD 156 / Spd 16
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Knock Off
- Sleep Powder
Tank.
Sleep Powder stalls a few turns for Venusaur to Knock Off items.
Giga Drain restores health.
Helps to take out Tapu's (Lele still gives trouble though).
Threats to this team that I've discovered:
- Psychic types that can threaten Tyranitar.
- Steel types that are immune to Toxic.
- Hyper offense getting on the front foot early.
- Volt Turn teams seem to get the better of this team.
