Hi Smogon. here's a friend of mine that wants to get his team rated, there it goes:
Starter
Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Sandstream
EVS: 252 HP / 6 Att / 252 Def
Impish nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Slack off
- Stone Edge
This is my starter, he brigs up the sandstorm and uses stealth rock to plant entry hazards on my enemy's team. Basically he tanks and slacks off damage while sandstorm keeps draining the opponents HP.
Staller
Skarmory @ leftovers
Keen eye
EVS: 158 HP / 100 Att / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Brave Bird
- Spikes
- Roost
- Whirlwind
The common skarmory, he uses spikes and whirlwind a lot, the enemy gets it's HP drained by Stealth rock + Spikes + Sandstream. Brave Bird is there in case of an attack needed and roost to keep Skarm alive.
The TrickRoom boy
Bronzong @ Leftovers
Levitate
EVs: 252 PS / 114 Att / 20 Def / 94 Sp.Def
Relaxed Nature
- Gyro ball
- Trick Room
- Hypnosis
- Earthquake
This is not a trick room team but since a lot of my pokemon are slow, sometimes it's useful to put up a trick room. Gyro ball and Earthquake for power and hypnosis to induce some random sleep in the opponent.
The Dancer
Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Sandstream
EVs: 252 HP / 129 Def / 129 Sp.Def
Careful Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake
- Crunch
This guy is one of the sweepers of my team. I know that Dragon Dance with the previous trick room is not a great idea, so I try to send out tyranitar when the trick room is over. Three attacks and Dragon Dance to boost.
Relicanth
Relicanth @ Choice Band
Rock Head
EVs: 58 HP / 252 Att / 200 Sp.Def
Adamant Nature
- Head Smash
- Waterfall
- Double Edge
- Earthquake
Nobody uses Relicanth but I think that he is not that bad, specially after the trick room is up. He has good defense and average attack, but Head Smash without recoil really dishes a lot of damage, usually unexepected because people are not used to fight Relicanth. Grass attacks are a pain but if I keep away from them, Relicanth is usually ok. Maybe I would like to find a substitute to Double Edge because I don't use it at all, but I don't find anything better for him.
The Special Wall
Cradily @ Leftovers
Suction Cups
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Def / 94 Sp.Def
Impish Nature
- Toxic
- Recover
- Confuse Ray
- Earthquake
Cradily has got quite got sp.def and the sandstorm gives him the sp.def boost, so I use him as special wall. His main work is to take special hits while annoying the opponent confusing or poisoning him and recovering the damage while the status and sandstorm wears them off. If the switch spikes and stealth rock are in the way.
I also was thinking about getting a marowak or a metagross but I don't know which one of the pokemon in my team should I substitute :\
Every little help is apreciatted.
Thanks.
