Umbreon is mostly used to trap Lead and prevent them from switching out. Taunt is used for stopping them from baton passing, sword dancing, or setting up any more field hazards. Toxic is to cripple the opposing pokemon till it has no more HP. Dark Pulse is a filler just incase i get taunted and for a STAB.
Synergy- Like I said this is used to trap leads and cripple them. It prevents them from setting more field hazards like more than one layer of spikes. If i'm able to take out the lead Pokemon, most likely they'd send out a sweeper to get rid of Umbreon as fast as possible. So then, I would do my best to Mean Look them, then withdraw Umbreon, and switch to an appropriate tank.

Surf is somewhat of a filler that has a STAB to do a lot of damage. Protect is there to scout for moves they may damage my team. Ice Beam is obviously there to deal with Dragons.
Synergy- Blastoise's main roll is to get rid of field hazards with Rapid Spin and to scout for moves.

One of the tanks in my team. Earthquake is just a filler and to take down Metagross. Shadow Sneak is there to attack first for pokemon who are weak against Ghost and for a delicious STAB. Will-O-Wisp is to cripple the opponent's HP down to 0. While Pain Split refills HP and instantly gets Blissey down to half without lowering mine.
Synergy- a nice wall to stall pokemon and inflict a status condition to pokemon that decide to switch out.

The special tank of my team. Blissey is used to heal teammates closed to fainting by using Wish. Protect is to scout for potentially dangerous moves. Toxic is to gradually take down pokemon dangerous to the team.
Synergy- Blissey is to heal my tanks and sweepers. You could say that Blissey is the doctor of my team.

Mainly used as a physical sweeper. Thunderpunch is to deliver a huge STAB and get rid of Gyarados. Ice punch obviously is for dragons. If I believe that someone has a pokemon that can put Stealth Rock or Spikes, that's where Taunt comes in. It's also used for Blissey Wish supporters.
Synergy- You could call him a revenge killer since I only send him in after a Pokemon faints. This is to reduce damage that a Pokemon might inflict to Electivire if I were to switch him in.
