Alright...yeah, it's a theme team, but I think it could do better than it's doing right now. Note that it's a wifi team mostly, so don't assume 100% perfection, but I generally breed the hell out of anything I seriously want to use. Anyway, on to the team.
The Alien:
Modest Deoxys-E @ Leftovers: 220 HP, 252 Attack, 36 Speed
Psycho Boost
Knock Off
Taunt
Stealth Rock
Anti-lead, then mess up choice banders. Gengar and Crobat have to switch out of this, Gyarados isn't smart to stay in either as Psycho Boost will 2HKO and I outspeed, and Bronzong gets taunted. If I have reason to believe he isn't running Gyro Ball I stay in, but in a real match I'm going to bail out after that, because we all know this guy does not like Gyro Ball. Rocks usually come out after I slap a choice lead, or later when he can more easily force a switch.
I find setting up rocks with this guy dangerous. Perhaps a different moveset would work better here?
Labmonkey
Jolly Infernape @ Life Orb 4HP, 252 Atk, 252 Speed
Swords Dance
Stone Edge (may swap for Mach Punch)
Flare Blitz
Close Combat
Standard SDApe, not much to say. Needed a big physical threat and didn't have a good female to breed a Mixape, so this guy happened. Comes in mid/lategame, usually set up by:
The Blackjack:
Timid Drifblim @ Starf Berry, 80HP, 128Def, 128Sdef, 176 Speed
Hypnosis
Substitute
Charge Beam
Baton Pass
God. This guy goes nowhere, and has been doing me SO well in my last batch of games. He comes in on quite a few different things, is bulky enough to take some hits, and can sleep, sub, and set up as needed. The IVs are mixed because I thought it would be more generally effective to run him as a mixed wall. Starting to think all Sdef may be better. Note: Charge Beam in this guy does NOT stop gyarados. This guy can pretty well, though:
ICE ROBOT ATTACK!!
Relaxed Regice @ Leftovers, 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Sdef
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Rest
Sleep Talk
Yeah, bone stock standard, minus the nature. Jolly Banded Weavile Brick Break is a 3HKO on this guy. Adamant still drops him in two, though. Life orbed ones get walled, as do almost any physical attackers that can't hit HARD and super effective (mixape, for example, has issues getting through this). My problem with this guy is he can absorb status, take hits, and...do nothing, really. Unless Drifblim sets him up, he's really not accomplishing anything. This guy may want a new set.
Flybot:
Impish Skarmory @ Leftovers, 252HP, 96Atk, 156Def, 4 Sdef
Brave Bird
Swords Dance
Whirlwind
Roost
This is an odd set but it's worked for me so far (just pulled a game out of the fire with him ten minutes ago) by being effectively the bulky spiker, but instead of trying to do residual damage, he just SDs up and hits things really hard. He's an excellent Baton Pass target from Drifblim, as anything other than Special Attack LOVES him. Special Attack on the other hand goes to Regice or this last guy...
Tequila, the First Polymorphic Virus:
Timid Porygon-Z @ Choice Scarf, 252 Satk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Dark Pulse
Tri Attack
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Bone stock. Timid over Modest mostly because it's what I had, I originally planned a Choice Specs variant until I came to the realization that Specs-Z is USELESS. He's too slow to get going and will rarely kill do much before he gets splattered. Might be good on a team with Ninjask but otherwise no. I find this guy doesn't do a whole lot in a match, though, unless Drifblim sets him up, which I shouldn't rely on.
Overall Strategy: Mess with them, set up Drifblim and sweep mid/lategame. I have a lot of sweepy options, and it's overall a very offensive team, with some nice roadblocks. It just runs into problems, and I'm looking for tweaks. New Pokemon are plenty fine as long as they can be justified in the theme of the team. Otherwise I'd go build a real team. :P
