Rate My UU Batman-Nicknamed Team!

Any Batman-Related nickname ideas for Raikou and Miltank are appreciated. :)

First off, I want to thank anyone and everyone who rates my team. It means a lot and I am glad that there are people that are willing to help others.

The pokemon in my team are currently as follows: Gligar, Empoleon, Krookodile, Roserade,

First up, is my Physical wall, Gligar

Bruce Wayne (Gligar) @ Eviolite

EVs: 172 HP / 84 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Roost
- U-Turn
- Knock Off
Gligar is an amazing physical wall, taking the plethora of Fire and Fighting moves with ease. I like running Knock Off on a Pokemon like this to rid opponents of their items like Choice Scarves or leftovers. Although, Toxic or Knockoff is subject to change for U-Turn, which gives me more momentum.

Next, Gligar's perfect complement, Empoleon

EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature

- Ice Beam
- Roar
"Empoleon has great synergy with Gligar. Not only does Empoleon's excellent Special Defense complement Gligar's great physical Defense, but their types cover the other's weaknesses perfectly. Empoleon can easily switch into Ice- and Water-type attacks aimed at Gligar, while Gligar can switch into Ground-, Fighting-, and Electric-type attacks aimed at Empoleon" Smogon
I really do like Empoleon. Its special defense is great, but it is still able do do some fair damage when it needs to. I almost always need Roar on a team to get rid of pokemon that set up subs and stat boosts. Stealth Rocks are always good too.

Now, we have the Thug himself, Krookodile

Killer Croc(Krookodile) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef

- Pursuit
No team is complete without a Choice Scarf user, and Krookodile fits the bill. He out speeds every Pokemon in the tier if they are un-boosted, so he is a great revenge killer. With Moxie, he gets his attack raised to continue his devastation. I guess there are other Scarf-users in the tier that are better than Krookodile, but he always finds ways to get a switch in to Electric and Psychic moves. I could use a pokemon like Mienshao or Herracros to fill this spot, but I really like what Krookodile can do.

Now another Choice user, Roserade

I absolutely LOVE Choice Specs Roserade. I almost always lead off with her, and always net an easy OHKO on a potential Stealth Rocks user. People always assume that its a defensive set, but they are caught off guard when they get blasted with a Leaf Storm. With the Natural Cure ability, Roserade can use rest, then switch out and be cured of its sleep. This thing is a threat, as I hardly see Pokemon that will want to switch into a Leaf Storm.

Now the speedy but powerfull Sub/Calm Mind abuser, Raikou

I couldnt come up with a witty Batman-related nickname for Raikou, but nonetheless, it is still a monster. It can set up its Sub quickly, and go for some calm minds to raise its Special Attack to really high levels. I like to run the Shiny form because, for anyone who knows, the gift shiny had a rash nature with unique moves like Extreemespeed and Aura Sphere. That isnt my set though, and it might throw someone off. Raikou provides increased offensive pressure and the fear of a set-up sweep to those who want to set up entry hazards.

The last team-member is a little odd, coming all the way from NU, Miltank!

Miltank (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 156 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk / 96 SDef
Careful Nature
- Body Slam
- Heal Bell
- Milk Drink
- Curse
Miltank is here for two reasons. Thick Fat and Heal Bell. Thick fat gives Miltank a resistance to Fire and Ice types, both of which the rest of the team is weak to. heal bell is there to cure my team of status ailments, as a burn on Krookodile or anything on Raikou is very detrimental.

I hope you like my team! here is what is missing
1. Rapid Spinner isnt necessarry bacuse no one is really hurt by them, but it could'nt hurt
2. Fire Type... There are a lot in UU
3. Ghost type, spinblocker, again, not necessarry because Roserade dosen't set up spikes
4. Annoy-er/status inflictor like Sableye
5. Wish user.

My team has nothing for a Sub Calm Mind Zapdos, and Chandelure is a big problem too, because the only thing to take a hit is Miltank, who cant hit back because of Chandelure's Ghost typing.

Couple things:

1) You're never going to have all those things you listed on one balanced team. I'd pick one or two from the list that you really want. Otherwise it's too hard to help you make changes w/o starting from scratch.

2) Sub Calm Mind Zapdos doesn't exist so I'm not sure how it threatens your team. If you meant Sub CM Raikou, then a suggestion I'll post below will help with this.

3) That roserade set looks very threatening but I'd change Choice Specs to Life Orb

4) Gligar should only be investing in HP, Def and Speed. Unless you can give me a specific example of why you need exactly 84 Attack EVs, they should be moved to HP.

5) Your miltank set really doesn't seem to do much for your team. Because UU is filled with fighting types, it's hard for this set to set up plus any ghost type 100% walls it which doesn't help your chandy weakness. My advice is the Replace Mltank with Choice Banded Snorlax.
This allows you to prusuit trap chandelure, guaranteeing its death.

I was hoping that this team would have a ditto named Clayface. What a dissapointment! Also, no Crobat? Really?

Haha just kidding. This team looks okay and I like the idea, here's some suggestions.
I second the switch from Miltank to Snorlax. Miltank has always been extremely meh in this meta.

I honestly think a Sableye named Joker would help this team. It's annoying and it's a spin blocker, and I think that fits. It's not a clown, but... Eh. I'd say get rid of Raikou because to be honest I don't think you'll find a name for it. There's not really a Batman villain that embodies electricity.

Crobat should replace Gligar. Trust me when I say that Crobat is a really good defensive pivot because of it's godlike typing and it can also give your team a ton of momentum.

I would go into more detail if I could but I'm currently on my phone right now so I cannot. Good luck, though!

Thanks for the tips man, I changed Gligars EV's and Roserade to a Life Orb. I will change Miltank to Snorlax and try out the Choice Band for a while, and If that dosent work out, Ill try a more defensive set.
But I really do appreciate the ratings.

Haha, the names just came up, i didnt base the team off of Batman. Ill test out the Joker (Sabelye) and Batman (Crobat). But what will Snorlax be called?

Teammate Suggestions:
I agree 100% with GenXXZ, Miltank is outclassed by Snorlax. You should exchange Miltank with Offensive Lefties Snorlax. This gives you a solid all-around special attacking check that isn't worn down as easily as CB Snorlax, allowing you to come in multiple times and check threats such as Zapdos, Raikou, and Offensive Roserade more than just once or twice. It also prevents you from being locked into Pursuit where something like Scrafty can set up on you. Speaking of Scrafty, your team is absolutely destroyed by both the Dragon Dance and Bulk Up sets. Also, your team has a problem with physical Fire types such as Victini and LO Darmanitan, both 1-2HKO your entire team and get many free switch in opportunities. Therefore, you should replace Empoleon with Spikes Qwilfish, who gives your team Spikes support, which both Raikou and Krookodile love, gives you a secondary fighting check so your team doesn't auto-lose to most Scrafty, and takes advantage of physical fire type attacks. Using Haze on Qwil means you can set up on Scrafty all day.

Moveset Suggestions:
If you do replace Empoleon, you should give Gligar Stealth Rock over either U-Turn or Knock Off. Which move you keep is really up to you, both of them are really helpful to your team. The only other moveset change you might want to make is Crunch over Superpower on Krookodile. I personally wouldn't run a Krookodile with Superpower because the EdgeQuake combo already has perfect coverage, but if you want more insurance against Scrafty then you can keep the move.

If that didn't convince you, then I'll just say that Snorlax looks more like the Penguin anyway. I don't know the Batman series well enough to know if any villains look like Qwilfish, so I didn't nickname it. I hope this advice helped!
