Rate my UU Residual Damage team

Ever since I found out about Stealth Rock, residual damage has been a very appealing idea for me. Then, I caught a shiny Adamant Aron, so I decided to piece together a UU team. Here's what I have so far:

*EDIT* After reviewing the feedback and doing some more research, here's my full roster. I feel that it deviates from my original plan of Spikes + Stealth Rock w/ Sandstorm, so any tips on how to tailor it around that strategy would be nice. Other comments and suggestions are appreciated as well.

Omastar
Nature: Bold
Item: Leftovers
EV’s: 252 HP/252 Def/6 SpDef
Sandstorm
Spikes/Toxic Spikes
Protect
Surf

Possible Nidoking counter and set-up for Spikes mostly. Protect to scout ahead so I can plan a proper switch-in when its HP starts going down.

Aggron
Nature: Adamant
Item: Life Orb
EV's: 216 Atk/148 Def/144 HP
Stealth Rock/Roar
Earthquake
Stone Edge/Rock Slide
Sandstorm

I'm trying to maintain my Stealth Rock strategy, not too focused about keeping Sandstorm, but it has the Sp Defense boost that might come in handy. This one is mostly setting up Stealth Rock, and using Roar or trying to take down an enemy here and there.

Nidoking
Nature: Adamant
Item: Life Orb/Black Sludge
EV's: 252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
Earthquake
Megahorn
Sucker Punch
Stone Edge

Physical attacker, Life Orb so it can take advantage of its diverse moveset, thinking of Black Sludge for healing.

Drifblim w/Aftermath
Nature: Calm
Item: Leftovers
EV's: 216 HP/148 Def/144 SpAtk
Will-o-wisp
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball/Ominous Wind
Thunder Wave/Toxic

This one is for casting status effects. Mostly aiming for the burn for the added Attack decrease, Thunder Wave or Toxic in case of Flash Fire.

Claydol
Nature: Modest/Calm
Item: Petaya Berry
EV's: 252 SpAtk/252 SpDef/6 HP
Earth Power
Psychic
Rest
Sleep Talk

Levitate so I can switch in on an Earthquake. The EV spread is so I can deal more damage before having to do Rest + Sleep Talk.

Quagsire
Nature: Impish
Item: Leftovers
EV’s: 252 HP/96 Atk/160 Def
Toxic
Earthquake
Ice Beam
Protect

Another Nidoking counter. Earthquake or Ice Beam for damage, and Toxic + Protect in case it starts taking too much damage.

maybe a steelix could be in the last slot

Steelix @ leftovers
Impish nature
200 hp / 25 atk / 252 def
Explosion
Roar
Earthquake
Toxic / Stealth rock

maybe a steelix could be in the last slot

Unfortuantely not as Steelix is not currently UU ...

@ Sharkshocker.

Shuckle is by far the best Sandstorm set up in UU.

Cacturne is far too frail to be attempting to set up Sandstorm or Spikes ...

Actually Hippopotas isn't officially anything ... however it is one NFE that is generally considered as being banned from the UU environment.

So is making Cacturne a sort of sweeper fine ...

Yes ...

or should I have Shuckle replace it entirely as Spiker?

Shuckle couldn't replace it as a spiker, as I'm pretty sure it can't learn spikes.

Ack, sorry about the error with Shuckle, I got a bit confused there. What's a good idea for a Sandstorm + Spikes setup? I saw Omastar can learn Sandstorm/Spikes/Toxic Spikes, so would something like this be fine?

Omastar
Nature: Bold
Item: Smooth Rock
EV's: 252 HP/252 Def/6 SpDef
Sandstorm
Spikes/Toxic Spikes
Protect
Surf(?)

Or would I have to set up two separate Pokemon? Thanks in advance.

To be honest UU sandstorm teams are not really my forte ... you could try pming random#s as he uses a UU sandstorm and quite succesfully, although I haven't seen him on Shoddy for a while.

your team doesn't handle Nidoking too well, which is the main UU wall breaker. Try replacing Arragon with Quagsire or Gastrodon. Sand Storm isn't really worth it for 5 turns.
