Hi guys ! I am Glaedrix ( If that isn't obvious by now :p). This is my first RMT and I hope you guys will help as even though it has won a lot of battles , it has also lost quite a few.
So anyway all these pokemon are made to deal damage. I mean in no way are they going to set up Stealth Rocks, Toxics, Trick Rooms, and all the other things teams usually have. Instead I have gone to make a team in which each pokemon should have the capability to kill one/two pokemon and die
Sylveon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Shadow Ball
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Ground]
Basically Sylveon is my lead. Like all other good Sylveons Hyper Voice is my main STAB attack. The EVs in Health are because it needs the bulk to stay alive since it is so slow. The other moves are just if I have 2-3 pokemon left and need to hit something which doesn't get affected by Hyper Voice.
Dragonite @ Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Roost
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
Dragonite is kind of like some sponge for just absorbing all the hits. I've gone with Fire Punch since I have no other Fire moves on my team. I switch into Dragonite whenever some Flying/Ground/Fire/etc physical attackers are continuously spamming moves like Brave Bird and Flare Blitz.
Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Focus Blast
- Pain Split
Gengar is one of my defining forces in this team (imo). I won many battles due to this pokemon. Whenever a pesky Steel/Fighting/Normal/Poison/etc pokemon are pestering my other pokemon, I switch into Gengar and start spamming Focus Blasts, Sludge Waves, or Shadow Balls. Whenever I am at 10% health and the opposing pokemon has quite a good amount of health I use Pain Split.
Excadrill @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Rapid Spin
Thank you Puzzle King for this setup :)
This is a pretty standard Excadrill set. It is mainly for replacing Landorus - T (Open the Old Pokemon thing) as a scouter/defogger for my Dragonite with Multiscale. It is also used for dealing with Fairy pokemon like Sylveon and Clefable especially when they have a Stall set.
Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Explosion
Landorus is for scouting and dealing damage to Steel/Rock/Flying and most importantly Electric. I usually use Earthquakes but if it is a Flying type I use a Stone Edge and switch back. Explosion is when I am low on health and have 1-2 pokemon left. I don't know whether I should switch the choice Band for a Scarf or not :p.
Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Grass Knot
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
Greninja is my fastest pokemon and I usually use it at last when there is only 2 pokemon left. I use Dark Pulse instead of Extrasensory because I feel that I don't really need to use it much. It also acts as a anti-dragon when Sylveon is dead due to Protean + Ice Beam.
Heracross-Mega @ Heracronite
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def
- Bullet Seed
- Pin Missile
- Rock Blast
- Close Combat
My Mega pokemon : Mega Heracross exists in this team for two reasons : It's Mega Attack Stat and the fact that it has Skill Link and can learn some really good moves to complement it's ability. I put EVs into HP to provide some bulk to make up for it's speed (same as Sylveon). It's bulk also enables it to fight some Psychic and Fire pokemon (Not sure about Psychic but it can fight against Fire). It is usually used in the middle of the game.
That's about it ! Any and all help will be appreciated a lot.
I know this team has a lot of weaknesses and problems but so far I haven't encountered anything too major. The hardest thing I've come across is when a Dragonite spams DD one too many times ! :)
I will post some replays soon and pokemon which are a major trouble to this team.
Again thanks a lot for reading this !
Cheers

Although he forfeited in the middle I'm too lazy to battle more :p

Even though I lost (I made some bad plays).
