SV OU Rate The Clod Part 2

So my last post was a joke of using Clodsire offensively with other bad mons but now I’ve put actual effort into it. Most of the team is gone though with the exceptions of Clodsire and Raging Bolt When I first fixed the team I actually went undefeated for a bit. So here we go with the Clod pt2.

The Clod (Clodsire) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 120 HP / 208 Atk / 96 Def / 84 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Gunk Shot
- Liquidation
- Megahorn

The Clodsire is still the same as last time. Only this time I give it what little speed has back. Anyway water absorb for an immunity. Assualt vest for the extra special defense. And then the moves of earthquake and gunk shit for stab. With Megahorn there for coverage and liquidation plus Tera can do some damage.

Ogerpon-Wellspring (F) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Ivy Cudgel
- Horn Leech
- Knock Off

My second physical attacker is ogerpon-w. I went with the sword dance set cause it works the best for me and it’s fun. Ivy cudgel for stab and horn leech for stab and recovery. Knock off for item removal and coverage.

Loooong (Raging Bolt) @ Leftovers
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Dragon Pulse
- Thunderclap
- Thunderbolt
- Calm Mind

The only other one that survived the cleansing. It’s mostly the same with some changes such as its stats which I went with fast and hard hitting. I also went with a calm mind leftovers set.

Darkrai @ Life Orb
Ability: Bad Dreams
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Psychic
- Sludge Bomb

Darkest is here for being really fast and hitting really hard. I used the standard set I saw for it. It mostly helps against the psychic and fighting types that I struggle with.

Corviknight @ Light Clay
Ability: Mirror Armor
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 184 HP / 32 Atk / 192 Def / 100 SpD
Impish Nature
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Brave Bird
- Defog

Corviknight is my first support mon. It uses screens and the light clay to protect the team. Defoe removes rocks and spikes plus brace bird for damage. Tera ground helps with its two weaknesses.

Garganacl @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Protect
- Salt Cure
- Recover

Garganacl is my main set up mon. I’ve won rounds with just him as he stalls the teams to forfeit with salt cure, recover, and protect. Stealth rocks are for hazards.
 
Honestly with this sorta screens setup, I think clodsire could be a curse sweeper instead of running assault vest, since it's already super specially defensive, which could allow you to run leftovers or another item. Plus, the curse boosts could help to patch up its physical defense being usually its weakest link :)

I also think Darkrai could run focus blast over sludge bomb, as I feel the team has a general lack of coverage to hit dark types. You could also maybe switch out Knock off on ogerpon for play rough or low kick to patch this up
