Rate the OU Fighters

I have given this team some thought, and this is what I came up with
My Team

169.png

Crobat@Focus Sash
Jolly
252 Att/252 Speed/6 HP
~Confuse Ray
~Taunt
~U-turn
~Brave Bird

This guy is the fastest Taunt user (I am pretty sure), I would Taunt first if they are bulky, however if they are the fast Suicide leads (Azelf and Aerodactyl) I would Confuse them, then I would U-turn out to break there Sash, if they havent hit themselves, but if Bulky, and I can hit for decent damage, I would abuse Brave Bird.

130.png

Gyarados@Lum Berry
Jolly
252 Att/252 Spe/6 HP
~Dragon Dance
~Waterfall
~Earthquake
~Bounce

Nearly your Standard DD Gyara, with Outrage over Ice Fang, the reason this is, is that a 20 Base power drop on Salamence (Ice Fang vs Outrage), plus the addition of more coverage, the Lum Berry is for paralyisis and if Dusknoir tries to burn me.

464oa0.png

Rhyperior@Leftovers
Adamant
252 Att/158 H/100 Def
Solid Rock
~Swords Dance
~Substitute
~Earthquake
~Stone Edge/Rock Wrecker

This is the Subperior set, this EV set allows me to take Physical hits easily, I Sub on the switch, but with Rhyperior's huge attack set, it wont need to Swords Dance up anyway, I would SD up if they send in a wall, where I can SD up easily, I am pretty sure that even Skarmory cant survive a +6 Stone Edge, let alone +4. Rock Wrecker is for when I need a quick kill, and no SD's are up.

infernape.png

Infernape@Life Orb
Timid/Naive
252 Sp.Att/252 Spe/6 HP
~Nasty Plot
~Flamethrower
~Vacuum Wave
~Grass Knot/Close Combat

The copypasta of the Nasty Plot set, but with a difference, Nasty Plot on the switch, then with Flamethrower for a strong STAB, Blissey would probably stay away from me until it notices that I have, Vaccum Wave, but I would like to now whether it will survive a +2,+4,+6 Flamethrower, since it is a wall, it will probably try to stall me out with Softboiled.

milotic.gif

Milotic@Leftovers
Calm
252 HP/200 Def/56 Sp.Def
~Recover
~Toxic
~Surf
~Ice Beam/Protect

Pretty basic, Toxic to hit annoying walls, Recover to Recover the damage, and the classic Water+Ice combo, fo coverage, I can put Protect if I feel like Toxic stalling. This girl takes my Special hits while Rhyperior my Physical hits

Gliscor.png

Gliscor@Yache Berry
Jolly
252 HP/40 Att/216 Spe
~Swords Dance
~Roost
~Baton Pass
~Earthquake

The Dancing Tank set, however I can pass boosts to either Rhyperior, if its a wall or physical attacker, or Gyarados if Special. Earthquake for a strong STAB, Roost for recovery, I would Baton Pass obviously if its a flying type.

Weaknesses how I resist them
Electric-Gliscor, Rhyperior
Ice-Milotic, Infernape
Grass-Crobat, Infernape
Rock-Rhperior, Milotic (can beat rock types)
Water-Milotic, Gyarados
Psychic-Oops none
Ground-Gliscor, Gyarados, Crobat
Fighting-Gyarados, Crobat, Gliscor

Thank You

ok, Outrage on pretty much any non dragon type pokemon is worthless because your other moves can hit harder then it most of the time because of STAB.

Don't run Focus Sash on Crobat. Brave Bird will be negating it because of the recoil damage, and makes it pretty much useless. Run Leftovers and a spread of 104 HP / 152 Attack / 252 Speed instead. Also, I recommend running Roost over Confuse Ray, making Crobat a lead that is pretty hard to take down.

Crobat is too fragile, for only 100 HP EVs, plus the Confuse Ray is to try and break their sash, U-turn is if they dont hit themselves
Thank you to Berserker Lord, I might opt for Bounce,
Also sash is so I get a free Taunt, and possibly a Confuse Ray, nothing else, because they might predict the taunt

crobat shouldn't have focus sash

base 130 is faster than every lead except other base 130, ninjask and scarfed base 70s

ninjask will never OHKO crobat, aerodactyl is the only base 130 who can OHKO crobat (i don't know if rock slide will but stone edge definitely will, crobat is definitely not fragile, but he is in no way bulky), there are rarely any scarf leads since most leads are either suicide leads (focus sash) or bulky leads (leftovers)

the only scarf lead i have faced recently was jirachi and that was rare

leftovers and roost on crobat, the only lead you will have to worry about OHKOing you is aerodactyl and that's a speed tie

i'd honostly replace crobat with aerodactyl since he is just as fast of a taunt user and can set up SR, along with better type coverage, better attack, and actually services as a suicide lead

I dont like going into battle with 5 with Rocks vs 6 actually, I think it is a waste of a slot, so no suicice leads

you underestimate the usefulness of having rocks out

running focus sash on a poke with brave bird defeats the purpose of running focus sash, especially when that poke is faster than almost everything it will face

ninjask (never will OHKO you), electrode (never OHKO without specs and never seen in OU play), scarfed hera (can OHKO you but very rare), and scarfrichi (biggest threat but won't OHKO you) are just about the only pokes that are faster than you that will lead

aero is a speed tie and it'll always win

^Agreed. Magnezone poses a great threat. Seeing as you say you use Gliscor to defend against any electric types, Earthquake will be a miss to levitate/magnet rise. I don't think Rhyperior could hurt a bulky Magnezone either. I also agree with everyone else that a sash on Crobat makes it not as good as it could be. Leads are meant for leading. I also noticed you have no stealth rocks or [toxic]spikes, maybe you want to put it on Rhyperior or Gliscor. You have 4 pokes with set up moves (sword dance/dragon dance/nasty plot). You might like to opt for something with more immediate power w/ 4 atks for more type coverage (or maybe a surprise for your opponent :))

First thing that stands out and is a huge opportunity for those who notice it, 3 triple weaknesses. Water, Electric, and Ice are all very common attacks, and each one is super effective against 3 of you pokemon. Also, any Dragon type rips this team apart because nothing resists it, you need a Steel type.

My first suggestion is changing Milotic to Swampert. This will trade en Electric weakness for an Electric Imunity, while still retaining a bulky Water type. There are many types of Swampert and you can look him up on the strategy pokedex if you don't like my set. I think a CursePert is good for you.

Swampert @ Leftovers
Nature: Careful
EVs: 252 HP, 40 Def, 216 Sp Def
Curse
Waterfall
Earthquake
Avalanche/Stone Edge

This takes away you triple Electrc weakness, but you still have Water and Ice triple weaknesses. Easiest way to solve this: Scizor. Scizor will also add many usefull resistences, such as Dragon type. Take out Rhyperior for him. you can either use the Choice Band Scizor or a Swords Dance Scizor, but I suggest the CB Scizor for this team.

Scizor @ Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technitian
EVs: 248 HP, 252 Atk, 8 Speed
Bullet Punch
U-Turn
Superpower
Pursuit/Quick Attack

Now you have no triple weaknesses and many more resistences. On to the rest of the team.

Gyrados is good for the most part. Change his nature to Adamant to get more power, the Speed difference isn't huge, expecially if you are using Dragon Dance. He doesn't need a Lum Berry. Either run Leftovers or preferably Life Orb for a damage increase. Yes, burn and paralysis are annoying, but it's worth the extra power in the end.

Focus Sash is useless on Crobat, change it to Leftovers. He's good other than that.

On Inferape do you have Grass Knot or Close Combat? You need to make that clear. You are right that Blissey walls you. I would change him to a Speciall Based MixApe. This set takes Blissey out, and deals with almost anything you want. I prefer more Speed on it than SP Atk, but this is what Smogon suggests.

Infernape @ Life Orb
Nature: Naive
EVs: 64 Atk, 252 Sp Atk, 192 Speed
Fire Blast/Flamethrower
Close Combat
Hidden Power (Ice)
Grass Knot

I'll look at you team after you edit it and see if I find anything else. The most important thing is dealing with your 3 triple weaknesses though because they WILL kill you. I hope this rate helps. PM me when you edit the team and I'll look again. Have fun battling!
