Now, for the most part, this team has been DOMINATING in showdown, and so I'm pretty sure it'll live up to most standards. Though I'm not very certain.. I feel like there is something missing, so I came here for help:
Arbok: The bulky, fast, and OP killer of the team.
Arbok @ Black Sludge
Ability: Shed Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Coil
- Rest
- Gunk Shot
- Earthquake
After one or more Coils are up, Arbok is pretty much invincible, and with rest and shed skin, it can possibly get rid of it's sleep quicker, especially when fighting those nasty Status spreaders!
Articuno: Takes a turn or two to set up, then it is unstoppable.
Articuno @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Substitute
- Roost
- Hurricane
- Freeze-Dry
I try to stall a bit if I can't get my subsitute up, leaving an opening for a partner to come in and faint the threat on the other side. With Freeze-Dry, this baby can rekt anything from a Gastrodon to the more over used pokemon like Garchomp and Dragonite.
Kabutops: The tricky, swift sweeper of the team.
Kabutops @ Focus Sash
Ability: Weak Armor
EVs: 248 Hp / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off
With Kabutops, it's pretty common to see the opponents carrying a "Swamping move", ex.: Heat Wave.
When that happens, I usually try to swap out with a safe option and faint the threat THEN come in with Kabutops. The whole premise of having Weak Armor is to boost speed if possible, after getting hit with a contact move. Then with focus sash, I can safely set up a swords dance, and aqua jet the next turn. If I'm not faster, in that case I usually go with stone edge. Knock off is for the "Dangerous Items" holding pokemon. Using it usually on Poison heal pokes to troll a bit.
Flareon: Kindof like Arbok, just faster.
Flareon @ Charcoal
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Superpower
- Quick Attack
- Sleep Talk
Now, you're probably thinking to yourself, "Man, this guys a tard! He sticks a Charcoal on a FLAREON! A CHARCOAL! WHAT A NOOB!!!" Now, let me explain: the charcoal greatly boosts flare blitz's power, which is practically all that we're here for. Quick attack is just to beat up some pokemon with its health in the red, and sleep talk just incase i get friggin spored. Superpower though, is a nice way to get rid of rock types, unless kabutops is out, in which case I just aqua jet to get rid of the threat.
Serperior: Tanky, speedy, and double screener.
Serperior @ Light Clay
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Leaf Storm
- Glare
I almost ALWAYS use serperior as a lead. I set up Light Screen first if the main threats on the field are special attackers, and reflect if the attackers are physical ones. With double screens, my team has the proper defense needs, and with Glare support to even paralyze ground types (Again used to render that pesky Gliscor useless), and Leaf Storm for a powerful STAB and, with contrary, you may use serperior as a cleaner.
Lastly: Mr. Mime: The most trolliest, annoying thing, ever to exist on this earth.
Mr. Mime
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Icy Wind
- Quick Guard
- Dazzling Gleam
- Magic Coat
Technician with icy wind for the speed reduction and dazzling gleam for the STAB. Quick Guard is just incase a Klefki comes along, or some belly drum Aqua Jet user (Der; Azumarill) tries to kill your entire team. Magic coat is just to troll the klefki just incase that you KNOW that it's targeting you.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this. If tl;dr, then basicly: I have an OP team with Mr. Mime not having an item. Help pls.
Thanks in advance.
