Time For The Interviews

Metagross @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/6 HP
Adamant nature (+Atk - SpA)
-Agility
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake
-Thunder Punch

I chose Metagross as my lead because usually people don't start off with such pokemon. If the opponent isn't ready for the Agiligross, he's capable of sweeping teams. Metagross always gets in an Agility most of the time and that's when the sweeping begins. The only leads Meta has problems with is Bronzong and Hippodown. Meteor Mash is his main attack as it hits a lot of pokemon very hard. Earthquake is for coverage and Thunder Punch is mainly for Gyarados and other flyers. Once Meta gets attack raises from Meteor, he's a nasty beast.

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 216 HP/16 Atk/176 Def/100 Spe
Adamant nature (+ Atk - SpA)
-Dragon Dance
-Taunt
-Waterfall
-Stone Edge

The ever so common TauntDos. Gyara plays a very big role in my team. Taunt help from phazers/statusers and he begins the DD. Waterfall for STAB and Stone Edge for the resisting water pokemon.

Infernape @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 136 Atk/122 Spe/252 SpA
Naive nature (+Spe -SpD)
-Close Combat
-Hidden Power Ice
-Flamethrower
-Grass Knot

Infernape is a pokemon that I'm a bit fuzzy with. I don't mind to swap him with someone else but the thing is, I don't know who. CC is to OHKO Blissey and friends. HP Ice to OHKO the Dragons so they don't stand a chance. Flamethrower for STAB and coverage and last but not least, Grass knot for the bulky grounds/waters.

dpmfa248.png

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/6 HP
Jolly nature (+ Spe - SpA)
-Dragon Dance
-Crunch
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake

Tyranitar is one of my favourite pokemon to use. If Tyranitar gets atleast one DD, he's capable of sweeping teams. He is also my main Cress counter who I would have slight trouble with. One DD will make T-Tar faster then Starmie by a couple of points who then he OHKOs with Crunch.

dpmfa202.png

Wobbuffet @ Leftovers
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 252 Def/252 SpD/6 HP
Careful nature (+SpD -SpA)
-Encore
-Mirror Coat
-Counter
-Safeguard

Wobbuffet is one of the best supporters in my team. Switch in on a pokemon and Encore away. Whatever move he uses I switch to a counter to that move and start to sweep. I usually switch to T-Tar to get in a free DD. The rest of the moves you already know about.

dpffa242.png

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/80 SpA/176 SpD
Calm nature (+ SpD - Atk)
-Wish
-Protect
-Toxic
-Flamethrower

I chose WishBliss to give some support to my team. Blissey is usually paired up with Wobba most of the time. Toxic and Protect to stall my opponent to death. Flamethrower is for the pokemon that resist Toxic which is the steel types and poison.

Thank you in advance for any ideas or recommendations. Thanks again!

Just so you know, Wishbliss is now illegal on Shoddybattle. Suggest you replace it with a different Wisher (possibly Jirachi or Vaporeon?), as Wish support seems pretty integral to your team.

Sometimes I wonder if you guys actually played shoddy right now and if this is just a really old team. Wishblissey has been banned for 2-3 days now so you will have to replace her. Or at least revamp the moveset. I would keep blissey for now because of the defense she brings for you, so potentially consider

*thunder wave
*seismic toss
*softboiled
*ice beam

Now one of the big problems is the lack of special attackers. ScarfNape wont cut it at all. If I can I would like to suggest using A Mixed Metagross as a lead.

Meteor Mash
Pursuit
HP Fire
Earthquake / ThunderPunch

You have problems with gyarados so thunderpunch would probably fit well in the last slot. Anyway Mixgross allows you to beat bronzong, skarm, and forry all relatively easy allowing the big bulky physical sweepers a chance to shine.

Everything else looks fine and well although I suggest making Wobb Bold as he will then survive 2 outrages from garchomp, 2 eathquakes from mamoswine, and a cb crunch from tyranitar. Just saying
>.>

This team has potential though so good luck with it and I hope you can climb the shoddy ladder if you do use it ;D

WishBlissey is illegal, you can always use the standard set if you don't want wish. Jirachi is another excellent supporter with Wish, but looking how this team is very weak to Ground moves, I would suggest putting another Ground resist pokemon. You can have a hard time dealing with LO Mamo if you don't know how to play around it. I would suggest using a Bronzong on this team, it will help you out with LO Mamo, and give you a ground Immunity. Replacing either Infernape could be good.

Cresselia can be another option, as it counters Mamoswine pretty good, and can be an effective SleepTalker, but it's type makes it not a great Physical tank, as it can't really handle Tyranitar.

You are going to have to explain to me why he should be afraid of mamoswine so much.

He has the second best mamo counter in Gyarados

And the third best Mamo counter with Wobbuffet (as long as you go bold nature)

What am I not seeing here that merits mamoswine as such a threat?

I was actually suggesting Bronzong as a utility pokemon, giving him an extra resist to Ground to keep him a safer, but Gyarados counter to it, so I don't worry much about it =\

Hmm, thanks for the ideas. What's the ev spread for a MixGross? Should I even have a MixGross? One more thing, would Vaporeon work as my Wish pokemon instead of Blissey? And Infernape replaced with Bronzong?

for metagross. it doesnt really need shuca berry as a lead. it is definitely strong enough to take an EQ from bronzong. as for hippowdon, it should really be up against it anyway. use a lum berry instead. this way, sleep inducer leads like bronzong, crobat, or gengar will be able to be taken down after they use hypnosis, you wake up, use agility and sweep.

Seconded.

As for your Hippowdon And Bronzong problem I suggest using either Togekiss or Azelf. Both are immune to EQ's and both have access to Flamethrower and Grass knot.

Togekiss also has access to wish but i'm not sure if he is a good wish-passer..
