There. Don't say I'm not good to you!

Anyway, without the randomness, this is an OU team known as Team Darkness, since it strikes fear into the hearts of people who face them! So sit back, relax and enjoy rating my team!

Team In Detail

swampert3.png

Swampert(M)@ Leftovers
EV's-252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Ability-Torrent
Nature-Relaxed
Surf
Earthqauke
Ice Beam
Stealth Rock

The lead of the team. With his great defence and attack and good special attack, he can stand his ground and get a few sweeps aswell. Once he set's up stealth rock he strikes wih either STAB surf or earthqauke or ice beam that also handles grass types. He is one of the best lead's in the game since he is part water and most lead's are ground types. He may get taunted since he is slow but he can still KO them with his high attack.

AG184.jpg

Gengar(M)@ Choice Scarf
EV's-4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Ability-Levitate
Nature-Modest
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Focus Blast
Explosion

BOO! Yeah you should be scared of this ghost when you see it! He does a great sweep with his great speed and great special attack. But not only is he one of my best sweepers, but he is also my rapid spin blocker, which will annoy my opponent like hell! Also, he is a great revenge killer thanks to explosion. If I go down my opponent goes down too! Shadow ball is for STAB. Focus blast handles dark types and thunderbolt is to deal with gyarados and salamence. So if you are ever in a battle with me, be scared when you see this ghost!

180px-ag149_107.jpg

Snorlax(M)@ Leftovers
EV's-168 HP / 120 Def / 220 SpD
Ability-Thick Fat
Nature-Careful
Body Slam
Rest
Crunch
Curse

Good ol' curselax! He's my physical sweeper AND my special wall! He's great! So the strategy I use for this guy is curse and then kill with either STAB body slam (for 30% paralysis) or cruch to handle ghost types. Rest is for when his HP is really low (which is highly unlikly lol). So yeah this guy can stand his ground pretty well and attack with some serious power! He is so awsome!

salamence_2.jpg

Salamence(M)@ Life Orb
EV's-232 Atk / 24 SpA / 252 Spe
Ability-Intimidate
Nature-Naughty
Dragon Dance
Outrage
Fire Blast
Earthquake

RAWR! He's a dragon! Swampert and snorlax take some of the damage for him since swampert has ice beam and snorlax because he stands his ground well. He dragon dances and the strike with STAB outrage or earthqauke. Fire blast is for steel types. This guy is great! He has great attack and great speed and also great special attack. People may not agree with him because I don't have a steel type but he can still get great sweeps in there without a steel type!

180px-InfernapeC.jpg

Infernape(M)@ Life Orb
EV's-64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
Ability-Blaze
Nature-Naive
Flamethrower
Close Combat
Grass Knot
Nasty Plot

This monkey is a lethal weapon to have in any team! And nasty plot makes him even more lethal! Ground types and water types don't stand a chance since infernape has grass knot, but they can't be too light. You know what they say, the bigger they are the harder they fall! Flamethrower and close combat are for two great STAB's. This guy has to be the guy that get's the most sweep's in. Honestly! Without this guy, my team would go down the drain.

Jolteon___Zap_by_captaindahlia.jpg

Jolteon(M)@ Choice Specs
EV's-4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Ability-Volt Absorb
Nature-Timid
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
HP[Grass]
Signal Beam

The King Of The Team! He has always been my fave and that will never change! He may be second after infernape when it comes to sweeping, but he can still sweep up 4-5 pokemon's in my opponents team thanks to choice specs and his great speed. Thunderbolt is for STAB. Shadow ball is there for some little misfits that I battle. HP[Grass] is to deal with ground types and signal beam handles grass types. Now you know why he is known as The King Of The Team!

Thanks! Enjoy your toast!

Since I rarely use many of the pokemon on this team, I should probably not attempt a proper rate. However, I do believe there are some possible improvements to your lead Gliscor:

-First of all, you want either Taunt or U-turn over Stone Edge. Taunt allows you to prevent SR or status from slower leads, and gives it some advantage vs walls later on. U-turn allows you to run from bad matchups whilst breaking sashes, or to maintain momentum by avoiding double switches.

-Both of these changes require higher speed to work properly, so I suggest a Jolly nature over Impish. This, for example, allows you to outrun and taunt Roserade (though beware of HP ice.) This is also necessary to outrun Jolly Lucario, who may pack Ice Punch (just in case gengar gets trapped and dies.)

-You might want to run more speed EVs at the expence of defence. This helps against opposing Gliscor Leads. I suggest either 220-224 to outrun the standard, or max to guarantee a tie.

Jolteon and Sceptile play similar roles, so I'm not sure about them in the same team.

Hope I helped. Good luck

Edit: by the way, Specs Sceptile is better than Specs Roserade in my opinion. The question is whether a Specs grass type is needed at all.

Sceptile...

Sceptile, unfortunately, is rubbish in my eyes.

You are much better of with a Roserade.

roserade.png

Roserade @ Leftovers or Choice Specs
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Timid (for speed) or Modest (for power)
EV's - 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed / 6 HP
1. Leaf Storm
2. Hidden Power Ground(for fire types) OR
Hidden Power Ice(to replace dragon pulse)
3. Sludge Bomb???
4. Sleep Powder

This gives you more power, a better resistance to Flamethrower and Ice Beam, but a lower Defense/HP. Its really whether you want speed or power but if your looking for power, this is your guy. Leaf Storm would stay, Hidden Power would be good for protection, Sludge Bomb is slot filler that could be replaced, Sleep Powder is good if you choose timid nature and choice specs for a switch in instant sleep or if you choose leftovers. I dont know, hope you liked my idea.

Sceptile's not carp! He's good! Just because he's UU doesn't mean he's bad! Trust me! And I hate roserade! But thaks for the advice anyway:-)

Gliscor wants impish nature in this case. it is still quite fast, and the extra defense gives it the ability to live more attacks, and stay around until later.

And you definitely need Roserade>Sceptile. It's not that it's bad in OU, its just terribly outclassed by many other pokemon. Listen to the guy who recommended that
=P

Signal Beam is a terrible move on Jolteon in general. I recommend using Baton Pass or Wish, as you can get out of tough situations that way. Signal Beam won't do enough to solve the problem.

Everything else checks out in my book, although I'm sure I'll nitpick about something later. good team so far, i suppose.

I really like sceptile though and he is good in my team! And people use veusaur and he's bad! And theres no way I'm breeding jolteon again! It took me a whole week trying to get the perfect nature and the perfect HP so there's no way I'm going through that again! But thanks anyway:-)

Are you sure you want two attacks on a pokemon with no EV's in Spe Att: namely, Vaporeon. I'd suggest running Toxic over Ice Beam, as no dragons like getting Toxic'd.

Roserade is really the better option than Sceptile, but if you're deadset on not using it, you have a few options. You could replace Sceptile with Offensive Celebi or Specs Shaymin. In the end, I'd suggest Life Orb Celebi.

Celebi @ Life Orb
Timid
36 Def / 252 SpAtt / 220 Spe
-Recover
-Leaf Storm
-Psychic
-Hidden Power Fire / Psychic / U-Turn

The last move choice is there if you don't want imperfect Speed IV's.

Good luck.

I don't use legendary's lol!! XD I tryed that with vaporeon once but ice beam was better for me. Why does everybody want me to change sceptile?! Does anybody actually know how good he is?! I hate breloom aswell so don't mention him!

You have 3 choiced items to your pokemon and could become a problem. Gengar should have a timid nature to outspeed +1 salamence and gyrados.

Yeah thanks. I guess that is a bit of a propblem at times but I changed gengar's nature to timid and his item to life orb so that explosion get's more power too. Thanks!

I like your style with fast pokemon dealing attacks without needing boosts. I used to use this myself... it can be very fun when it works. With that said...

You have quite a few problems here:
1 - No Phasers
2 - No Scarfed, Priority, or Speed boosts.
3 - Gliscor and Vaporeon are your only tanks, and they mainly tank phys hits.
4 - Almost solely special attackers (gliscor and infernapes CC are your only phys)

1,2,3: These three combined mean that any pokemon you let get stat boosts will completely wreck you. Baton pass teams dream of this kind of team to set up on. 1 DD on Gyarados or Mence could easily cost you the entire match... 2 DD's and you cannot win.

4: Blissey used well will wall your entire team if Ape dies. On a similar note, resistances to spikes/toxic spikes = gliscor and gengar... so entry hazards can be a huge problem for you.

My suggestions:
Ape should get vacuum wave as a priority. However, once you do this, you have to replace something on your team with a physical attacker. Things that can work for this: Sceptile->Breloom, ScarfHera, or Celebi (I know you won't do this), Jolteon->Electivire, Gengar->any physical like [TTar, Scizor, Gyarados, Mamoswine, ScarfHera]. JC's suggestion of Taunt on Gliscor will help you deal with Blissey if Ape is dead.

I'll change sceptile to snorlax since he's physical and has great special defence. I'll stick to infernapes close combat and there is no way jolteon is changing! He is my fave! Gengar stay's. I'm changing vaporeon to swampert and gliscor to salamence.
