Alright, I've been working on my team for a long time, always making changes and I think I've come up with a decent, strong team. So, let's get right to it.
Jolteon w/ Leftovers
Timid - Volt Absorb
252 SpA/252 Spe/ 6 Hp
-Thunder Bolt
-HP Ice
-Substitute
-Baton Pass
I chose Jolteon as my lead because of its strong special attack and very nice speed. Jolteon really messes up Gyarados leads and can be extremely annoying. HP Ice is there to destroy electric resisting pokemon and of course, dragons. Substitute is there if I sense a switch (obviously with a Gyara lead) and Baton Pass away if it is about to EQ me.
Snorlax w/ Leftovers
Careful - Thick Fat
168 HP/120 Def/220 SpD
-Curse
-Rest
-Body Slam
-Fire Punch
Of course, the good 'ole CurseLax. I chose him as my stat absorber because most of my pokemon won't live with status. Curse is to raise his ok defense so he could tank both ways. Rest is for regaining health and shed off the status. Body Slam is there for paralysis which really helps and I chose Fire Punch to deal with Steel pokemon as Body Slam won't do much.
Mamoswine w/ Choice Band
Adamant - Oblivious
252 Atk/252 Spe/6 HP
- Ice Shard
- Ice Fang
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
I chose Mamoswine as my main Garchomp eliminator. He's sometimes able to withstand a ScarfChomp Outrage so he can execute it with Ice Shard. I have Ice Fang aswell for slower enemies which would do more damage. Earthquake is there for doing massive amounts of damage and Stone Edge is there as a filler.
Gengar w/ Choice Scarf
Modest - Levitate
252 SpA/252 Spe/6 HP
- HP Ice
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
Yes, normally you don't see Scarfed Gengars running around. But I really enjoy this set for a couple of reasons. Gengar is able to down Gyarados after it DDs so that's unpredictable. It's able to outrun ScarfChomps and destroy it with HP Ice. It's able to outrun other Gengars instead of those darn speed ties and able to eliminate Weavile. I made it Modest so it can do extra amount of damage which is always nice. This Gengar is very unlikely which is what makes it so threatning.
Gyarados w/ Leftovers
Adamant - Levitate
216 HP/16 Atk/176 Def/102 Spe
- Dragon Dance
- Taunt
- Stone Edge
- Waterfall
Gyarados is extremely useful to me, as it works well with Jolteons' ability. Dragon Dance is key for Gyarados as it's the main move it uses. Taunt is extremely useful as the opponent always tries to phaze/statuse it and that allows me to get in a couple more Dragon Dances. Waterfall is there for the flinch and STAB which is useful and I chose Stone Edge over EQ so he can do something to the grass types that tend to wall it, mainly Celebi. He works really well with Jolteon and Jolteon can SubPass to Gyarados because of its Ground resistance scoring me a free Dragon Dance.
Tyranitar w/ Leftovers
Brave - Sand Stream
252 HP/64 Atk/24 Spe/168 SpA
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Thunder Bolt
- Dark Pulse
Tyranitar is the pokemon that's on the borderline of being kicked. He does very well but I don't see him fitting in much in this team. Tyranitar is capable of 2HKO Starmie with T-Bolt which is nice but his Sub breaks after the first so I have to switch. Once T-Tar gets in his Sub, he starts doing very good. Dark Pulse for downing ghosts, mainly Gengar. Thunder Bolt is to do well on the Water pokemon and of course Skarmory. Focus Punch is there to do extreme damage to his oponents and threats.
That's basically it. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this. Thanks in advance for advice or tips. Peace.
