Administrative Decisions | Replays​
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when we can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to us or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, but they also contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • To managers: Please send us your lineups in the same format that we used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.
  • All formats are Best of 3 with the exception of RBY 1v1 which is a Best of 7.
  • Please note in NC97, No two Pokémon can be asleep, if you put multiple to sleep, you lose

RBY 1v1: Blanched vs McMeghan | Every fibre of my body is telling me to bold McMeghan here, but I think we're due for an upset here. As long as Blanched keeps their composure, I think this could be an interesting game. 51|49
RBY Little Cup: hammer798 vs Vulpix03 | Both teams have relatively struggled to achieve wins for Little Cup. Hammer should carry momentum from his semi-finals win and take this win. 60|40
Nintendo Cup 1997: Ranshiin vs Hayburner | Both players are 4-2, and are relatively strong players for this tier. I do think Hayburner looks more convincing in terms of gameplay however, and I'll lean towards a Jinwoos W here. 45|55
RBY STABmons: Acetylaldehyde vs Mana | Mana is the best player remaining in the pool for STABmons and absolutely dispatched Enigami b2b, all while Acetyladehyde has been relatively average within this tier. This one will probably be the most dominant performance here, but I think this might be the 2nd most interesting game in the finals purely for Ace having momentum of their own with the b2b wins. All eyes on this one. 35|65
Stadium OU: Shellnuts vs Soda_Eesti | The struggles of Stadium OU for the Jinwoos have been publicly known, but I feel Soda changes fortunes around in a pivotal moment. Neither team looks to be overly convincing however, which makes things all the more interesting. 45|55
RBY SU: Amaranth vs Larry | While we were unable to get a mainer in the finals, I do think this is the best matchup in terms of mons ability. Both teams have showcased their talents and relatively quick grasp with the metagame, and it has translated into strong results. That being said, I think Larry has a better grasp of this metagame, and I reckon his dominance will continue with a soul-crushing defeat for the Mickey Mankeys. Highlight matchup nonetheless. 49|51
