Spreadsheet | Replays
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when we can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to us or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, but they also contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • To managers: Please send us your lineups in the same format that we used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.
  • All formats are Best of 3 with the exception of RBY 1v1 which is a Best of 7.
  • Please note in NC97, No two Pokémon can be asleep, if you put multiple to sleep, you lose.

Week 4 Highlights, and I actually got them up before a game was played. We've got a lot of really strong and hotly anticipated matchups this week, so narrowing the list down was actually pretty tricky. This is also a very pivotal week for teams to clinch playoff berths or keep their tournament runs alive. We've got a lot to look forward to.

Stadium OU: gastlies vs Toxin Boost
The prospect of this matchup was like 40% of the reason Stadium OU is in RBYOMPL. Toxin has long had a certain preference for the tier and has been an avid supporter of its tournament inclusion for a while. I don't think gastlies has the same lasting fervor, but she has expressed a confident desire to break the tier free of its slow pace and defensive penchant, in much the same way she and others have pushed tiers like Ubers and NU. Toxin has been off to a rocky start this tournament, but his play has still been fairly solid and, with his team's tournament life on the line, I think we'll see him lock down this week. He and gastlies seem to have pretty different outlooks on how to optimize this tier, so I think this match can represent a clash of ideologies just as much as it can be a clash of players.

RBY STABmons: Enigami vs Mana
I'm not going to introduce Mana again, because I've already done it twice. He's very good. However, this is, surprisingly, the first time I'm covering a set featuring Enigami. Enigami has a breadth of experience with STABmons, stretching back to the 2018 Ladder on which Wrap Lovely Kiss Jolteon roamed free. Since the tier's inception, Enigami has been an avid theorycrafter, putting together some very novel sets and teams. Enigami was a participant in both editions of Saber, placing impressively in both, haven taken a top 8 finish in the first and the silver in the second. He's a very accomplished player in STABmons, just as he is in a number of other RBY tiers. As a STABmons enthusiast, Enigami's bout with Mana, who has played exceptionally well all tournament, is probably my most anticipated match of the regular season. It's always hard for me to not spotlight a STABmons matchup.

RBY Little Cup: Medeia vs gali
I actually haven't highlighted any LC matches yet, and this is a great place to start. This is our only double 3-0 matchup this week, so it's a pretty automatic addition to the watchlist. Both players have looked pretty solid all tournament. Medeia comes to this tournament off a win in Dratini Age: Origins, the only modern RBY LC tournament, where she sported an impressive 10-2 record (assuming I counted correctly). While gali may not have had the same deep run in that tournament, they are currently sitting in Round 6 Winners' Side in Dodeus Ex, which features the similar but different tier of LC Tradebacks. As such, gali has definitely been a strong sleeper pick in this tournament. Looking forward to another fast-paced shootout to see who keeps up the undefeated streak.

Lock in folks and make it a good one.
