TL;DR: New RBY player but not new to mons, made it to Randbats 1560s despite only just learning the tier in two or three weeks, ok enough UU/NU player, one of the best team supports on the site. Equally motivated to help the team win whether I start in an LT or bench and just help support from the shadows. Preference wise I'd like to play UU>NU>Rands>Ubers>=PU, but would need some team support in building.

I'll start by saying that I never thought I would grow to like RBY. Even though I've been playing mons at a competitive-casual level since 2023, the stigma of the generation and how different it felt from other tiers always kept me away from it. Even when I got into GSC last year, the RBY stigma still stuck to me for whatever reason. On a whim, I pawed around on the ZU and PU ladders earlier this year for spotlight and that was enough to inspire me to join my first RBY individual when I had the time.
Playing vs. Toxin Boost in RBY NU cup and having things come down to the literal last two turns of a Bo3(granted I got lucky with one insane freeze in g3) was the most fun I ever had on the site, and the fact that Toxin was nice enough to point out the mistakes or misplays I made inspired me to keep showing up. I've gotten some decent wins here and there, grinded my way to a 1560s Randbats peak(
click on link for pic), and entered a number of individuals for RBY, usually dropping off in round 3.
I won't pretend I'm the most impressive player, but anyone who knows me knows that my goal is to put the team first above all else. After some self-doubt and imposter syndrome had me take myself out of the GSCPL pool of players last year, I ended up joining - and helping test - for the Wobbuffett Village in Ubers, but ended up hopping in for some OU and PU testing here and there. Though the team lost in finals, I want it to be clear that even if I wouldn't have won a CA alongside the Wobbs, that team WAS my team and I felt the sting of that loss as much as I would've if I had been the one on the battlefield.
In a similar light, any team I get drafted to will be treated with that same level of priority and respect. If you need me to test randbats despite you slotting me in for UU, I will test randbats until I'm blue in the face to make sure our team's slot is ready to win the bo7 in 4 games straight. If you need me to slot into OU with one day's notice. even though I don't feel up to par in that tier, if I'm needed, I will be there. I'm here for two reasons: to improve my skills in RBY and to help win it all.
Even if I'm put on the bench, I can and will be an immensely valuable 3K bench with the same level of commitment to testing and discussing teams. However, in the interest of honesty: please do NOT draft me if you want a completely self-sufficient slot. I'm humble enough to admit that my weakness is in team building from scratch, and while I'm quick to understand how teams work, I will need help to make sure that I'm building a number of different styles. Almost all my "decent" results came from taking teams from replays from top players(thank you
Maris Bonibell for the Moltres team that made me fall in love with UU).
Preference wise: I'd
like to play UU>NU>Rands>Ubers>=PU, but in reality, I will go where I'm needed and I am happy to test in every single slot if someone needs a helping hand.
If you have any questions or want to talk to me about where you might see me fitting into your draft, don't hesitate. I'm happy to be in any slot as long as I've got some support. In return, I promise every bit of support I can offer to help push the team to victory.
