Last night, I was looking for one or more threads that I made years ago (probably in 2008-2009), and only a couple of them showed up in Search. Was there a thread purge at some point? If so, is there any way to access those threads? If it matters, I was looking for a particular RMT thread I made, and only 1 showed up in Search.

It depends on how you were looking for it. The best way would be to open your public profile, go to the "Statistics" tab, and open the "Find all threads started by Stall" link.
Gen 4 teams are now included under the "Past gen Teams" forums, so that might be why. Unless this is the one you're looking for, though, it's likely it was deleted when the forums shifted around.
