A lot of rooms will probably remember when kid a/bots were the main quote... databases(?) that when something got quoted, everyone could see it.
/quote and !randquote are great - but they don't have that effect of "haha it got quoted" that the bots used to have.
I think a command akin to !recentquote (which would show the newest quote) or simple "xyz got quoted" not being a modnote but instead a public notification would be cool - possibly as a toggle for rooms that don't care.
