Recording game matches: how do you do it?

Besides having a video camera recording the match on the TV, what other ways are there to record a match? I'd rather not have my screen be just the TV screen, I want what is on the TV recorded as a file to my computer. What ways can I record straight from the gaming system to a computer, or anything similar?

The cheapest way is probably a GameBridge. I saw a pretty good topic on SmashBoards on it. Remember not to directly use the GameBridge to play because it runs a max of 30 fps and some of the game you want to play might run at 60 (like Smash Bros).
