[SET COMMENTS]
Choice Band Dragon's Maw-boosted Outrage is a sight to behold, but in a tier infested with Fairy- and Steel-types, Regidrago finds its effectiveness limited. Nevertheless, with good team support, Regidrago is a force to be reckoned with. Scale Shot is decently strong and doesn't lock Regidrago in like Outrage does. The Speed raise also makes it harder to revenge kill with faster threats like Noivern and Zygarde-10%. Hammer Arm is Regidrago's best move to hit Diancie as well as Steel-types such as Steelix and Registeel. Thunder Fang is a near-guaranteed 2HKO on max HP Togekiss. Explosion is an alternative over either Outrage or Scale Shot, as it opens the door for Regidrago's teammates by either severely weakening or outright KOing Togekiss, Sylveon, or Galarian Weezing. Crunch is also an option to hit Doublade and 2HKO Metagross but has no other relevant targets.

Regidrago can do next to nothing against Sylveon, Galarian Weezing, and Doublade. Toxtricity is noteworthy for dealing with the mentioned Pokemon and weakening Steelix, which repeatedly switches in on Regidrago otherwise. Fighting- and Dark-types like Mienshao, Heracross, and Zarude can pair with Regidrago to overwhelm shared checks, such as Fairy-types. Regidrago can also lure and severely weaken Fairy-types with Explosion so its Fighting- and Dark-type teammate can clean up afterward. Zoroark can disguise itself as Regidrago with Illusion to lure and surprise Fairy-types with a super effective Sludge Bomb. Pivots like Thundurus, Zarude, and Darmanitan are excellent for safely bringing Regidrago onto the field. Darmanitan and other Fire-types like Volcaninon and Incineroar are grateful for Regidrago breaking bulky Water-types such as Milotic and Seismitoad. Spikes support from Roserade and Klefki helps whittle down sturdy Steel-types like Steelix, Metagross, and Doublade.

[SET COMMENTS]
Dragon Dance Regidrago is a solid late-game sweeper once key roadblocks are removed. Regidrago's average-to-good bulk and Dragon typing lend it many setup opportunities against bulky Water-types such as Milotic and Suicune, but also against passive walls like Registeel. However, even after a boost, Regidrago is slower than every common Choice Scarf user. The Speed raise from Scale Shot can prevent Choice Scarf users from revenge killing Regidrago after setup, but it's inconsistent due to its variability in power. After a Dragon Dance, Thunder Fang 2HKOes even bulky Togekiss. Substitute helps Regidrago set up by blocking Scald burns and Toxic. The passive recovery from Leftovers means Regidrago can use Substitute many more times throughout a battle. An Adamant nature is preferable to ensure the 2HKO on Togekiss with Thunder Fang after a Dragon Dance.

Try as it might, Regidrago can't break through Steelix, Galarian Weezing, Sylveon, and Doublade. Luckily, Toxtricity can pick up the slack and blow past each one with relative ease. Fighting-types such as Guts Heracross, Bewear, and Pangoro can overwhelm Sylveon and Galarian Weezing while breaking Steelix and Doublade. Thundurus, Darmanitan, and Incineroar can safely switch Regidrago into the battlefield with U-turn. Regidrago also appreciates Thundurus, as it can weaken Steelix with Knock Off and Grass Knot. Darmanitan and Incineroar synergize particularly well with Regidrago, as they can bring it in against bulky Water-types for a setup opportunity. Disguised as Regidrago, Zoroark can lure Galarian Weezing, Sylveon, Steelix, and Doublade with coverage moves in Extrasensory, Sludge Bomb, and Flamethrower. Dragon Dance Regidrago fits well on dual screens hyper offense teams, as it can get multiple boosts with ease thanks to its titanic bulk under dual screens. Regidrago also provides great defensive utility by checking Thundurus, living even a +2 Focus Blast from full. One notable Pokemon commonly seen on dual screens hyper offense is Cloyster; after a Shell Smash, it can OHKO both Doublade and Galarian Weezing with Hydro Pump. Other hyper offense staples like Quick Draw Galarian Slowbro and Mimikyu can help with breaking bulky Steel-types.

Also, even Jolly Regidrago is still outsped by every Choice Scarf user, but it does mean it outspeed Crobat. (this last sentence is a bit confusing)

honestly, getting locked into outrage is real bad. scale shot is most likely the move you're gonna be spamming most of the game, so move this up and unslash boom. if anything i would slash boom with outrage, cause both are most likely murdering drago :pikuh:

Without exploding, Regidrago can do next to nothing against Sylveon, Galarian Weezing, and Doublade. this wording is misleading - you're not gonna boom on doub to nuke it. Toxtricity is noteworthy for dealing with the mentioned Pokemon and weakening Steelix, which repeatedly switches in on Regidrago otherwise. Fighting- and Dark-types like Mienshao, Heracross, and Zarude appreciate Regidrago luring and severely weaken Fairy-types with Explosion. i think you need fighters and darks on any team with any drago because half its value is just being in the back and forcing the opp to conserve fairies - which means they don't rlly wanna switch them into darks and fighters. you should mention they overwhelm stuff together Pivots like Thundurus, Zarude, and Darmanitan are excellent for safely bringing Regidrago onto the field. would consider slashing scale shot, helps with scarfers and also means you can click your dragon move even before setting up (or even clean sometimes)

An Adamant nature is preferable to ensure the 2HKO on Togekiss with Thunder Fang after a Dragon Dance. With a Jolly nature, Regidrago outspeeds even max Speed Crobat at +1. However, Adamant Regidrago doesn't miss out on any other benchmark and the extra power is crucial to ensure the 2HKO on Togekiss. needs ada too much and its not like crobat is doing much to you back. you just set up to +2 on its face.

zoro can blow past dd drago counters if you get it right

i think scarf regidrago should be somewhere, whether you make another set or tack an other options to this mini (i think regidrago is diverse enough where its fine to do so).

tag me once you're done for a stamp, good job

zizalith

Made Explosion an alternative to a Dragon STAB of the reader's choice. I think it comes down to preference. Some hate locking into Outrage, others love the extra power.

For the DD team section, I thought I balanced between non-ho teammates vs ho ones. Some concrete examples would help a lot if you still want me to add more.

Everything else implemented.
